대학생의 핵심역량 강화를 위한 커뮤니케이션 교과목 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on Developing Communication Courses to Enhance Undergraduates' Core Competence)

  • 최근 기술의 발전과 함께 문화 간 융합이 이루어지는 정보사회화 흐름 속에서 커뮤니케이션 역량의 중요성이 더욱 커지고 있다. 이에 각 대학에서 커뮤니케이션 역량을 경쟁력 있는 인재양성에 있어 꼭 필요한 핵심역량의 하나로 간주하고 이와 관련된 교육과정의 개설과 운영을 위해 노력하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 대학생들의 핵심역량 강화를 위한 커뮤니케이션 교과목 개발에 관한 과정과 구체적인 콘텐츠를 제시하고 있다. 커뮤니케이션 교과목에 관한 콘텐츠에는 강의개요, 강의목표, 강의방법, 성적 평가방법, 주차별 학습주제, 학습목표, 학습내용 등이 포함되어 있다. 본 연구는 대학생들이 커뮤니케이션에 대한 이해를 바탕으로 커뮤니케이션 능력을 효과적으로 배양하여 대학생활을 하는데 있어 핵심역량을 더욱 향상시킬 수 있는 토대를 제공할 것이다. 또한 본 연구는 대학 및 사회에서 갖추어야 할 구성원의 핵심역량으로 가장 우선시 되고 있는 커뮤니케이션 역량에 대한 체계적 교육을 통해 사회적 가치를 창출할 수 있는 유능한 인재양성의 장을 마련해 줄 것이다.

대학과 협력한 초등수학 교사학습공동체의 발달 과정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Professional Learning Community in Mathematics Based on the Collaboration with University and Its Affiliated Elementary School)

  • The purpose of this study is to explain the long term growth and development of elementary teachers' Professional Learning Communities(PLC) about mathematics implemented on an institutional basis. Especially, it is meaningful to analyze and present the development process and characteristics of PLC, which was started by the basis on the collaboration of a National University of Education and its affiliated elementary school. In this study, PLC activities during three years were analyzed according to the capacities and dimensions of a professional learning community. The developmental capacity of the PLC analyzed in this study can be summarized as follows. In the first year, development of organizational competence in terms of capacity, resources, structure, and system of exchanges was the main factor in personal competence, and the development of individual competence began to share collective learning and practice. In the second year, personal exchanges were active in all the topics of activities, and personal level competence was activated such that more activities of critical knowledge formation were performed on an individual level. On the basis of the development of the individual level formed in the second, individual competence and organizational capacity developed. Factors that have influenced the development of capacities of PLC include: disclosure of activities outside the community, participation in outsiders, provision of procedures to share equal participation and leadership, voluntary and critical participation of teachers, improvement of mathematics teaching methods, sharing themes and visions.

종합병원 간호사의 비판적 사고성향과 임상수행능력 (Critical Thinking Disposition and Clinical Competence in General Hospital Nurses)

  • Purpose: This study was done to investigate the relationship between critical thinking disposition and clinical competence among nurses in general hospitals. Methods: This study was a descriptive-correlational study with a convenience sample of 560 nurses from 5 general hospitals. The data were collected by self-administered questionnaires. Critical thinking disposition was measured using the Critical Thinking Disposition Scale for Nursing Students. Clinical competence was measured using the Standardized Nurse Performance Appraisal Tool. Results: The mean score for critical thinking disposition and clinical competence was 3.37 and 4.10 respectively on a 5 point scale. A statistically significant correlation was found between critical thinking disposition and clinical competence. A regression model explained 72.8% of clinical competence. Prudence is the most significant predictor of clinical competence ($R^2=.728$). Conclusion: Study findings suggest that nurses with a higher level of critical thinking disposition would have a higher level of clinical competence. Furthermore, prudence might be the most important predictor of clinical competence. In order to strengthen clinical competence in nurses, the development and enhancement of critical thinking should be emphasized at the college level and nurses should be encouraged to make a clinical decision with greater prudence.

문화간호역량 개념 분석 (A Concept Analysis of Cultural Nursing Competence)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to conduct a concept analysis of cultural nursing competence. Methods: Cultural nursing competence was analyzed using Rodgers' evolutionary concept development method. A literature search using the keywords "cultural nursing competence", "intercultural nursing competence", "cultural nursing", "cultural health nursing", and "cultural competence" was conducted in PubMed, CINAHL, ERIC, and RISS on material published before 2015. Database and bibliographic searches yielded 35 records. Results: Cultural nursing competence comprised cognitive, affective, and behavioral domains. The critical attributes of the concept were sensitivity, equality, and activity. The analysis identified the following dimensions: awareness, openness, and coherence. The consequences of cultural nursing competence were personal satisfaction and social justice. The definition contained competence on both an individual and social level. Conclusion: Cultural competency enhances quality of care by narrowing health disparities and increasing client satisfaction. The concept analysis of cultural nursing competence may offer an acceptable framework which can be used to develop psychometric tools of this concept and provide guidelines in nursing practice.

Relation of Compassionate Competence to Burnout, Job Stress, Turnover Intention, Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment for Oncology Nurses in Korea

  • Background: Nursing focuses on the development of an empathic relationship between the nurse and the patients. Compassionate competence, in particular, is a very important trait for oncology nurses. The current study sought to determine the degree of compassionate competence in oncology nurses, as well as to determine the relationships between compassionate competence, burnout, job stress, turnover intention, degrees of job satisfaction, and organizational commitment in oncology nurses. Materials and Methods: A descriptive correlational study evaluating the relationships between compassionate competence, burnout, job stress, turnover intention, degrees of job satisfaction, and organizational commitment in 419 oncology nurses was conducted between January 30 and February 20, 2015. Results: The average score of compassionate competence for oncology nurses in the current study was higher than for clinical nurses. Conclusions: The correlational analysis between compassionate competence and organizational commitment, burnout, job stress, turnover intention, and degree of job satisfaction revealed a high correlation between compassionate competence and positive job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Conclusions: Compassionate competence was higher in oncology nurses than in nurses investigated in previous studies and positively correlated with work experience. Job satisfaction and organizational commitment in nurses may be improved through compassionate competence enhancement programs that employ a variety of experiences.

중소기업의 e-비즈니스 역량 및 수출성과에 관한 연구 (An Empirical Study on e-Business Competence and Export Performance of the Small and Medium Sized Firms)

  • This study investigate the effects of environmental and organizational characteristics on e-business competence and the influence of e-business competence on export performance in the small and medium sized firms. The development of the research model is based on the literature of e-business and the empirical studies of information technology competence. The data from the survey was analyzed using Partial Least Squares(PLS). The results from the empirical model suggest that e-business competence is affected by environmental uncertainty and market diversity as well as top management support and learning orientation. And, export performance is enhanced by e-business competence.

유아기 아동의 사회적 능력: 수줍음 및 자녀의 또래관계에 대한 어머니의 개입행동과의 관계 (Young Children's Social Competence: Its Relations with Their Shyness and Maternal Involvement in Children's Peer Relations)

  • The main purpose of this study was to examine the relations of children's shyness and maternal involvement in children's peer relations to children's social competence, and the relative influence of children's shyness and maternal involvement in children's peer relations on children's social competence. 195 mothers of 3-year-olds and their 13 teachers in Seoul and Gyeonggi province participated in the study. The data were obtained using three kinds of questionnaires regarding shyness, parental involvement, and social competence. Findings revealed that shy children showed less popularity leadership and social participation for both boys and girls. The more orchestrations mothers exerted, the more popularity leadership boys showed. And the more advice and support mothers provided, the more interpersonal adjustment girls showed. For boys, shyness was more influential on popularity leadership than maternal orchestrations were. Findings are discussed in terms of the role of shyness in children's early social competence for both boys and girls.

졸업을 앞둔 간호학생의 핵심간호역량 측정도구 개발 (Development of Nursing Competence Scale for Graduating Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to develop a nursing competence scale for soon to be graduate nursing students and to verify its validity and reliability. Methods: This study is a methodological study for development of a scale. Based on literature review and group discussion of 13 professional experts, 40 preliminary items were developed and the content validity was verified. Psychometric testing was performed and data were collected from 141 soon to be graduate nursing students of a university. Construct validity was verified by factor analysis and reliability was calculated. Results: The analyses resulted in a scale named the Nursing Competence Scale for Graduating Nursing Students (NCS-GNS), consisting of 30 items covering eight categories: nursing professionalism, integrated nursing through critical thinking, communication skills, nursing leadership, respect for life, stress management, nursing research, and core nursing skills. For the entire scale, the explained variance was 66.72% and Cronbach's alpha was 0.906. Conclusion: NCS-GNS was developed and its validity and reliability were verified. This scale can be used to evaluate nursing competence for graduating nursing students.

어머니의 애정적 양육행동과 유아의 또래유능성과의 관계 : 유아의 실행기능과 정서조절의 매개효과 (The Relationship Between Mothers' Affective Parenting and Preschoolers' Peer Competence : Mediating Effects of Preschoolers' Executive Function and Emotion Regulation)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to explore the mediating effects of executive function and emotion regulation of preschoolers on the relationships between mothers' affective parenting and preschoolers' peer competence. Methods: The participants were 3 to 5 year old preschoolers and their mothers (N = 241) living in Busan and Kyungnam province. Data analysis methods included descriptive statistics, Cronbach ${\alpha}$, Pearson's correlation analysis, and SEM. Data were analyzed using the SPSS Statistics 23.0 program and Amos 23.0 program. Results: The major findings of this study are as follows. First, mothers' affective parenting, preschoolers' executive function, emotion regulation, and peer competence correlated positively. Second, the relationship between mothers' affective parenting and preschoolers' peer competence was mediated by preschoolers' executive function and emotion regulation. Conclusion: These findings suggest the importance of mediating effects of preschoolers' executive function and emotion regulation on the relationship between mothers' affective parenting and preschoolers' peer competence.

시뮬레이션 기반 간호교육이 간호학생의 지식과 임상수행능력에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of a Simulation-Based Education on the Knowledge and Clinical Competence for Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to identify the effect of simulation-based education relevant to the care of patients with acute renal failure (ARF) for third-year nursing students. Methods: This study was a non-equivalent control pre-posttest design. Based on the clinical situation scenarios pertaining to patients with ARF, a simulation-based learning module was developed using Human Patient Simulator version 6 (HPS6) manufactured by Medical Education Technologies Inc. The pretest was conducted so as to evaluate the difference in prior knowledge and clinical competence between two groups. The control group consisted of 91 students during the 2010 academic year and the experimental group consisted of 94 students during the 2011 academic year. Data were analysed using SPSS/win 10.1. Results: In the experimental group, knowledge related to care for ARF patients was not significantly increased; however, clinical competence improved significantly for the experimental group. Conclusion: In conclusion, the simulation-based education program was effective in contributing towards the development of clinical competence. Increased development of clinical competence is vital for today's clinical environment where nursing professionals need the necessary knowledge, thinking, and performance skills to meet the needs of the hospital and their patients.
