섬유의류기업의 기술개발전략, 마케팅역량, 지식관리역량, 기업성과간의 관계 (Relationships among Technology Development Strategy, Marketing Competence, Knowledge Management Competence, and Company Performance of Textile and Clothing Companies)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore relationships among technology development strategy, marketing competence, knowledge management competence, and company performance of textile and clothing companies. Survey data collected from 187 employees in the textile and clothing companies were analyzed by descriptive statistics, factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. In results, certain levels of correlations were found among technological development strategy, marketing competence, knowledge management competence, and company performance. Specifically, technological gap which was one of the technology development strategy factors was a variable significantly affecting innovation performance and financial performance of textile and clothing companies. Knowledge management competence affected innovation performance whereas marketing competence affected financial competence of textile and clothing companies.

기업의 제품개발역량과 IT역량이 융합능력을 통해 신제품 개발 성과에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Product Development Competence and IT Competence on NPD Performance through Convergence Capabilities)

  • Purpose This study examines the influence of product development competence and IT competence on new product development (NPD) performance in the context of Korean companies. To achieve this goal, this study presents and empirically tests a model of how NPD competence and IT competence can be exploited to positively influence NPD performance through convergence capabilities. Design/methodology/approach The NPD competence are based on the research construct developed by Zhang et al. (2013). IT competence is based on the research construct developed by Lu and Ramamurthy(2011) and the NPD performance are based on the performance construct developed by Sivadas and Dwyer (2000). To complete the investigation, we conducted a survey from Korean 1000 big companies, which enrolled in Korean stock market. Randomly contacted 171 Korean companies, including firms of all sizes and types. To test our hypotheses, structured equation model (SEM) with partial least squares (PLS) method was employed. Findings The findings indicate that NPD competence and IT competence are antecedent to convergence capabilities, while IT competence is higher influence than NPD competence. Also, convergence capabilities has very significant relationship with NPD performance. This study provides a better understanding of the relationship between NPD competence, IT competence, convergence capabilities, and NPD performance. So companies should focus on improving NPD and IT competence on NPD performance through convergence capabilities.

어머니의 사회성 발달에 관한 신념이 유아의 또래유능성에 미치는 영향: 또래관계 관리전략의 매개효과를 중심으로 (The Mediating Effects of Mothers' Management Strategies of Peer Relationship on the Relationship Between Maternal Beliefs on Social Development and Child's Peer Competence)

  • Objective: This study examined the relationship between maternal beliefs on social development, management strategies of peer relations, and their child's peer competence in order to understand how to promote children's peer competence. Methods: Self-report questionnaires were used on 195 mothers with children four to years old. Data were analyzed using Pearson Correlation Analysis and Baron and Kenny's three-step regression. Results: First, there was a positive relationship between maternal beliefs on social development and their child's peer competence. Second, this study found that there were partial mediating effects of advice·support and supervision on the relationship between maternal beliefs on social development and children's social competence. Conclusion/Implications: The findings confirm that mothers' beliefs on social development and management strategies of peer relationships are proceeding factors for children's peer competence. Significant attention should be paid to mothers' beliefs on social development and management strategies of peer relationships for children's positive social development.

부모에 대한 애착이 학령기 아동의 사회적 능력에 미치는 영향 : 공감 능력의 매개적 역할 (The Influences of Parental Attachment on Social Competence of School-Aged Children : The Mediating Role of Empathy)

  • The effects of parental attachment and empathy on social competence were examined with a sample of 403 fifth and sixth graders (192 males, 211 females) attending elementary schools in Gyoung-gi province. All research variables were measured using self-reported questionnaires conducted by the children concerned. Data were analyzed by means of structural equation modeling. The results indicated that parental attachment had no direct effect, but there was an indirect effect on children's social competence mediated by children's empathy. Maternal attachment influenced children's social competence relatively more than paternal attachment. As compared to parental attachment, however, children's empathy was the more influential variable when it came to social competence. These results were consistent in both genders. The results of this study emphasize that children's own characteristics such as empathy tend to be important factors in developing social competence compared to the parental role in middle childhood. Accordingly, interventions aimed at improving children's empathy need to be emphasized in order to develop children's social competence regardless of gender.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the development of rational counting, addition and subtraction competence and the correlation between competence in rational counting, addition, and subtraction in three-, four- and five-year-old children. The subjects were 156 preschoolers living in Seoul. The experimental materials consisted of a set of 20 props for rational counting, addition, and subtraction tasks. The addition and subtraction tasks each consisted of a set of 6 problems. The data were analyzed by ANOVA, Duncan multiple range test, and Pearson's r. The results indicated that 1) there were significant differences in the development of competence in rational counting, addition, and subtraction by age, 2) there were no significant differences in competence in rational counting, addition, and subtraction by gender, 3) there were positively high correlations of competence rational counting, addition, and subtraction by age.

유아의 기질과 어머니의 양육효능감이 양육행동에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Preschoolers' Temperament and Parenting Sense of Competence on Mothers' Parenting Behavior)

  • This study examined the relationship among preschoolers' temperament, parenting sense of competence, and mothers' parenting behavior. It also examined the mediating effects of parenting sense of competence on the relationship between preschoolers' temperament and mothers' parenting behavior. A total of 155 mothers with preschoolers aged 3 to 4(83 boys and 72 girls), living in Seoul, participated in this study. The mothers completed questionnaires designed to measure preschoolers' temperament, parenting sense of competence, and mothers' parenting behavior. The results indicated that preschoolers' temperament and mothers' parenting sense of competence were significantly related to warmth/acceptance and rejection/restriction. Additionally, preschoolers' temperament was significantly related to parental efficacy and dissatisfaction. Furthermore, parenting sense of competence mediated the relationship between preschoolers' temperament and mothers' parenting behavior. In particular, it was found that parental efficacy fully mediated the relationship between preschoolers' activity level and mothers' rejection/restriction. These findings imply that improving mothers' parenting sense of competence needs to be emphasized in designing prevention and intervention programs aimed at enhancing mothers' positive parenting behavior.

TPACK of Faculty in Higher Education: Current Status and Future Directions

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate teaching competence of faculty members based on TPACK which should be examined to ensure high quality in higher education. This study was conducted with a focus on TPACK, which integrate technology knowledge (TK), content knowledge (CK), and pedagogy knowledge (PK). Except insincere responses data from a total of 85 participants were used for data analysis in this study. K-mean cluster analysis method was used to examine how faculty members could be distinguished depending on TPACK type. Study results showed that there were three different types of faculty groups (well-balanced competence type, development required competence type, and lack of technology competence type). First, faculty members defined as well balanced competence type were more than the average level in TPACK. Second, faculty members belonged to development required competence type reported below the average level in TPACK. Thus, faculty members in this type were required to increase teaching competence. Finally, faculty members in lack of technology competence type were needed to enhance competence related to technology because their overall TK level was relatively low. This study examined what distinctive characteristics exited in each type depending on gender, teaching career, nationality, and age. Results from this study offered a basis for better understanding TPACK for enhancing teaching competence at the university level.

기술개발 프로젝트에서 팀효능감이 커뮤니케이션 역량을 통해 개인창의성과 제품개발성과에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Team Efficacy on Individual Creativity and Product Development Performance through Communication Competence in Technology Development Projects)

  • 기술개발 프로젝트에서 성과를 높이기 위해서는 창의성이 필요하며, 창의성을 높이기 위해서는 업무지시에 대한 명확한 이해력이 필요하다. 본 연구는 팀효능감과 지식공유가 커뮤니케이션 역량에 미치는 영향과, 커뮤니케이션 역량이 개인창의성 및 제품개발성과에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 분석하였다. 본 연구의 목적은 기술개발 프로젝트에서 커뮤니케이션 역량과 개인창의성의 중요성을 검증하고, 커뮤니케이션 역량에 대한 향상 방안을 제언하기 위함이다. 기술 개발 참여자들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 요인간의 관계를 구조방정식 모형으로 확인하였다. 가설검증 결과, 팀효능감과 지식공유가 커뮤니케이션 역량에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤고, 팀리더의 확실한 업무지시 전달과 실무자의 명확한 업무지시 이해가 개인창의성에 주요한 요인임을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구결과는 첨단기술이 융복합되는 기술개발 프로젝트에서, 개인창의성 향상에 필요한 참여자의 커뮤니케이션 역량을 제고하는데 기여할 수 있을 것이다. 향후에는 조직 수준의 창의성에 대한 커뮤니케이션 역량의 효과에 대해 연구하고자 한다.

고등학생이 인식하는 학업적 그릿과 진로개발역량 관계에서 학습전략 수준의 조절효과 (The Moderating Effect of Learning Strategy Levels on the Relationship between Academic Grit and Career Development Competence Perceived by High School Students)

  • 본 연구에서는 고등학생이 인식하는 학업적 그릿과 진로개발역량 관계에 대한 학습전략 수준의 조절효과를 탐색하였다. 본 연구의 대상은 D 광역시 소재 고등학생 573명이었으며, 주요 분석 방법은 신뢰도분석, 상관분석, K-평균 분석분석 및 위계적 회귀분석이었다. 연구결과, 학업적 그릿은 진로개발역량에 정적 영향을 미쳤으며, 또한, 학업전략수준은 학업적 그릿과 진로개발역량의 관계를 조절한다는 점을 확인하였다. 이러한 결과는 고등학생에게 진로개발역량 향상을 위해서는 학습전략 수준을 고려한 학업적 그릿 프로그램을 제공할 필요성을 시사한다. 향후 연구에서는 학업적 그릿과 진로개발역량 관계에 대한 개인배경이나 관련 변수를 활용한 조절 및 매개효과 분석, 이들 관계에 대한 이론적, 논리적 구조 관계를 밝히는 문헌연구, 학업적 그릿의 진로개발역량 향상에 영향을 미치는 맥락과 관련 변인 간 이론적 구조를 밝히는 질적 연구 등이 요청된다.

Research on Core Competence of Cultural Industry in Korea

  • Purpose - This paper will go deep into the analysis of Korean Cultural industry development, and the result of the analysis shows that the cultural value of cultural product, competitive product lines and mature Market Mechanism are core competences of Korean Cultural industry. Research design, data, and methodology - This is a case study in the era of knowledge based economy, Cultural industry has become a new increasing point of economic development. Cultural industry, commonly regarded as an industry with high-ended value, is occupying more important role in economic development and social welfare promotion process. Results - Moreover the increasingly important role of cultural industry will hopefully help to promote industrial upgrading process and finally become a driving force for economic growth and technological innovation. During the process of cultural development, improving core competence of Cultural industry is a key consideration to help the development of Cultural industry in a positive way. Conclusions - From the study above, we find that in order to ensure sustainable development of Cultural industry, emphasis should be put on finding and improving core competence. Core competence of Korean Cultural industry is important and inspiring to the development of Chinese Cultural industry and regional integration in the East Asian area.
