Glass fiber reinforced plastic(CFHP) tent pole fabricated by the pultrusion process with unidirectional glass fiber is two times as heavy as aluminum tent pole owing to the low specific modulus The first objective of this research is the design the high strength and light weight tent pole compete with. the second is the develope glass fiber carbon fiber hybrid tent pole pultrusion process. the third is the evaluate the mechanical properties of the hybrid tent pole compare to these of the duralumin tent pole.

As different service classifications for existing and new business data services, it is hard to gather necessary data for the service providers to set their strategies and regulations are also applied asymmetrically to each service provider. Therefore an appropriate market classification is required for the business data services. The Hendry model is selected in this paper to analyze substitution degree among services and then Hendry model is applied to competition among four business data services. As a result, it is shown that these services compete directly and future market shares of services are forecasted and positioning strategy for new services is considered.

This paper the profit maximizing order quantity model to the symmetric oligopoly consisting of sellers of a homogeneous product who compete with each other for the same potential buyers. Buyers are classified by type, each selecting an optimal purchase quantity in response to the nonlinear quantity discount pricing schedule given by the sellers. Symmetric equilibrium and the economic quantities that sellers must determine are analysed in a Cournot framework, which explicitly depend on the number of sellers. Economic implications are obtianed from the optimality conditions based on themarket share paraments which are used to characterize the competitior's marketing strategy.

In practical control area, there are many examples with multiple objectives which may conflict or compete with each other like overhead crane control, automatic train operation, and refuse incinerator plant control, etc. These kinds of control problems are called multiobjective control problems, where it is difficult to provide the desired performance with control strategies based on single-objective optimization. Small sized LTPS TFT-LCDs are developed and evaluated. Sine the fabrication process is optimized for the productivity of huge glass substrate, the pattern size is above 5${\mu}m$. The panels with integrated digital data drivers are not satisfactory to compete with a-Si technology. Therefore, LTPS panels are implemented by PMOS technology and it is proved that they can be competitive with a-Si TFT-LCDs in terms of performance and cost.

Consumer electronics is rapidly digitalized invoking the necessity of digital signal transmission. Moreover, even in consumer electronics, occasionally signal speed is over 1Gbps and long distance transmission(over 5 meters) is required. For these requirements, even though optical transmission is ideal, cost problem has blocked up its entrance to consumer market. However, inexpensive and high speed optical devices such as VCSEL, PIN or MSN PD with large detecting area and low capacitance and Plastic Optical Fiber have been developed so that optical solution can be compete with electrical one in consumer electronics.

Power transactions are considered as noncooperative game in that participants compete each other to win the bidding game, and as cooperative game in that they have to cooperate to apply the result of bidding game to the physically interconnected power system. This paper applies both noncooperative and cooperative game theories in analyzing the entire process of power transaction.

We have analyzed a combined cycle employing refrigerant Rankine cycle and simple refrigeration cycle with one working fluid. Although this cycle shows promising aspects such as simplicity, it does not have a good efficiency to compete with the other existing technologies because of high temperature at the exit of the turbine. However, by introducing a recuperator, it is found that the cycle efficiency can be improved up to the level much higher than other technology＇s efficiency.
