  • We look at three use cases by business model types of Web3.0 social tokens shaped by 'token eonomics (tokenomics).' As the platform token, 'Roll' mints unique tokens to creators' reputation and allows them to own the value they create. Creators incentivize their followers contributing to the community. Tokens issued on Roll have a fixed supply with 20% minted for creators and 80% distributed across three years. With 'Roll Memberships,' followers gain benefits across token-gated platforms and protocols while getting something in return from the creator. 'Roll Staking' allows creators to integrate their community into crypto-specific products like trading markets, enhancing the features being possible in a creator's community. As the community token, 'Whale' creates WHALE token backed by non-fungible tokens (NFTs), so that it derives its value from NFTs kept in NFT art collection, 'The Vault.' 'Hold-to-Play(H2P)' rewards distributed to token holders owning a minimum threshold of tokens allow them to access to exclusive access to benefits like airdrops, tips, rewards, and exclusive information. Whale DAO open to members locking 1,000 tokens allows them to post a proposal twice a month and to vote in the senate. DAO-Voter role allows members locking 500 tokens to access the vote in the senate, but not to present proposals. As the personal token, 'RAC' distributes RAC tokens to his loyal supporters as a reward. These tokens are available for exclusive content access. RacOS makes it possible for RAC Patreon subscribers to claim RAC tokens each month corresponding with their membership tier.

  • The study investigated the forest vegetation in 59 plots between June 2017 and August 2017 to understand the forest vegetation structure of the protected zone for forest genetic resource conservation (forest genetic resource reserve area) in Heuksando Island. We classified the vegetation using the Z-M phytosociological method analyzed the importance value and species diversity of each vegetation classification. The analysis showed the Camellia japonica community group at a top level of forest vegetation hierarchy. In the level of community, it was classified into Dendropanax morbiferus community (Vegetation unit 1; VU 1), Carpinus turczaninowii community, and C. japonica typical community (VU 6). C. turczaninowii community was subdivided into Buxus koreana group (VU 2), Rhododendron mucronulatum group (VU 3), Vitis amurensis group (VU 4) and C. turczaninowii typical group (VU 5). Therefore, it was classified into a total of six vegetation units (one community group, three communities, and four groups). The analysis of the mean codominant value of each VU show that Quercus acuta was the highest in VU 1, C. turczaninowii in VU 2, Pinus thunbergii in VU 3, Pinus densiflora in VU 4, and Castanopsis sieboldii in VU 5 and VU 6. The analysis of species diversity showed that VU 2 was the highest among six units in species richness index, species diversity index, and species evenness index. VU 6 showed the highest among six units in species dominance index. In conclusion, a synecology approach to manage six units and twelve species groups was needed for the forest vegetation of Heuksando Island protected area for forest genetic resource conservation.

  • In this study, the value of reservoir landscape improvement among agricultural infrastructures was analyzed using the CVM(contingent valuation method). The results can be summarized as follows. First, in the decision to pay for all types of large, medium and small scales, the probability of acceptance decreased as the price range increased, and the probability of acceptance increased as the interest in landscape increased. Second, the WTP(willingness to pay) to improve landscape derived from logistic estimation was 29,284 won per year for large reservoirs, 20,736 won per year for medium reservoirs, and 16,682 won per year for small reservoirs. Third, conservative estimates using the economically active population to estimate the overall value of the reservoir landscape improvement show that large reservoirs were 955 billion won per year, medium reservoirs were 600 billion won per year, and small reservoirs were 468 billion won per year.

  • This study is designed to find out the physicochemical quality and the morphological features of Korean wheat flour and imported wheat flour with a view to shed light on their difference. In terms of components, Korean wheat flour and imported wheat flour are similar, but the latter turns out to be better than the former when it comes to crude protein, the ratio of water absorption and the power of maintenance. Yet Korean wheat flour turns out to be better than imported wheat flour. In terms of the chromaticity of wheat flour, the latter turns out to be higher than the former when it comes to L value, while the former turns out to be higher than the latter when it comes to a value and b value. In terms of the morphological features of wheat flour, both are in the shape of an oval with starch particles irregularly attached to gluten. And imported wheat flour is getter than Korean wheat flour in terms of the size of particles.

  • In order to investigate the ramyeon intake patterns, food value recognition, and their effects on blood pressure and blood lipid levels, a total of 385 male students aged 13- 15 years living in rural area were sampled randomly, and they were surveyed using questionnaire. Blood pressure and fasting serum lipids levels of 123 subjects selected among the total were determined. Of the total subjects 80.3% either liked or liked very much ramyeon and 42.2% of them were eating ramyeon from 1 to 2 times a week,21.1% 5-6 times a week, while 11.7% more than once a day, and 13.1% less than once a month. They took ramyeon from one (56.8%) to two (25.4%) packs each time. Two-third of subjects consumed entire ramyeon soup or more than half of it. Mostly they added egg or onion to ramyeon and took along with kimchi, cooked rice, danmuji, or dried laver. The food value recognition score about ramyeon was 41.33 out of 100 full grade. Comparing to underweight or normal weight subjects, overweight students tended to take ramyeon more frequently when playing with friends and tended to consume less soup of ramyeon. There was a significant negative correlation between ramyeon intake frequencies and HDL-cholesterol levels (r = -.223 p < .05). Moreover, among the normal body weight students (n = 72) adjusted with relative weight, ramyeon intake frequencies showed not only a significant negative correlation with HDL-cholesterol level (r = -.244 p < .05), but also significant positive correlations with atherogenic index (r : .249 p < .05) and systolic blood pressure (r : .259 p < .05) . These results suggested that frequent intake of ramyeon with limited sidedishes as a whole meal might have negative influences on blood pressure and serum lipid levels. Nutrition education is needed to have correct food value recognition and proper consumption of ramyeon along with the balanced diet. (Korean J Community Nutrition 8(4) : 485-494, 2003)

  • The changes in fish stock and biomass before and after fishway renovation located in a Korean estuary were studied and fluctuations in the economic value of the fish resources were estimated. The target fishway located in the east coast area in Korea was renovated in 2014 from the small fish ladder to the ice-harbor fishway. Monitoring was continued for five consecutive years after the renovation(2015 to 2019). Since the renovation of the fish passage, the economic values increased with increases in the fishery resources, except for in 2016 when the drought impact was severe. The yearly average incremental increase in the five years after the renovation was about 227%. The increase in economic value is believed to be due to the increased population of migratory fish as a result of habitat expansion. The exponential rise model showed an increase in economic value with increasing fishery resources (R2=0.896). The model coefficient contributing to economic analysis was 0.582 and the maximum economic value after the renovation was estimated at about 30.4 million. The economic value would be a useful index for quantitative comparison in terms of ecosystem services before and after renovation.

  • This study analyzes the plan to increase the social value of the KRC (Korea Rural Community Corporation). For this aim, this study examines the current status of participation in the KRC business and the social value, targeting the farmers among the external stakeholders and derived the main characteristics and important projects of the KRC using network analysis. As a result of network analysis, the rural water management business was found to be the most important business in most regions (Rural Water Development Business 0.805, Agricultural and Fishery Production Base Maintenance Business 0.758, Farmland Banking Business 0.762, Regional Development Business 0.643). On the other hand, in the case of Jeju, the agricultural production base improvement business and the regional development project were found to be the most important projects of KRC due to the unique characteristics of the region. The results of this kind of analysis differ in the importance between KRC business by region, and it is necessary to carefully review the local conditions in order to enhance social value through KRC business in the future. However, since the value of degree centrality between each business is different for each region, efforts to increase the value of KRC's social value, while accounting for local conditions, are needed.

  • In this study, those previous research works are reviewed and summarized in various contexts, and this paper also describes the results of an empirical study done for the sample business workers in Korea, analyzing SQC and consumer's value. The surveyed data are statistically analysed to examine the relationship between SQC acquisition and consumer's value in the lodging industry, considering additional factors of business types of companies as well as the consumer's using purpose of service facilities. The important findings of the study can be summarized as follows: First, the business types of companies is an insignificant factor on the consumer's value by the quality certificated services, while the using purpose of service facilities(Hotel and Pension) is an significant factor. Second, the descriptive result is shown that consumers are willing to pay 21.47~31.24 % more than the un-certificated services for quality-certificated services. On the basis of these findings, some practical implications can be drawn for the effective management of the lodging industry. When a firm decides to establish a business plan, it should be considered the using purpose of service facilities.
