  • 인간의 감정과 심리 상태를 분석하는 것은 다양한 분야에서 사용되고 있는 응용 기술이다. 이와 같은 분석 분야는 최근 들어 오감의 연계와 결과의 이용에 따른 맞춤형 기술로 다양화 되어 가고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 감정 및 심리 상태를 분석하기 위한 방법 중 흔하게 접할 수 있는 얼굴 영상과 음성을 통한 실험을 진행하고자 한다. 이를 위해 기존의 영상학적, 음성학적 분석 방법을 정립하고 감정 및 심리 상태를 적절한 배경에 맞춰 분석이 가능한 형태로 결과값을 출력하는 기법을 제안하고자 한다. 또한 실험을 통해 추출한 연구 과정 및 방법을 이용하여 실제 사례에 대한 분석 기법의 적용을 도입하고자 한다.

  • The rapid proliferation of in-home and office information applications and services is driving the need for new wireless technologies enabling wideband short range multimedia communications. Due to the growing demand for higher quality media and faster wireless connections, several IEEE standardization groups are considering very high data rate alternatives physical layer(s) for Wireless Personal Area Network (WPAN). The Ultra Wide Band (UWB) multiple access technology based on very narrow pulse transmission, is one viable candidate for these applications providing very high bit rates services, low power consumption and accurate positioning capability. In this paper we provide a methodology to evaluate the UWB system BER performance in UWB wireless fading networks with power controlled UWB devices are considered. Results can be used to analyze the performance of a given network topology and to provide useful design ideas for an UWB home sensor network.

Arc Detection using Logistic Regression (로지스틱 회기를 이용한 아크 검출)

  • The arc is one of factors causing electrical fires. Over past decades, various researches have been carried out to detect arc occurrences. Even though frequency analysis, wavelet and statistical features have been used, arc detection performance is degraded due to diverse arc waveforms. On the contray, Deep neural network (DNN) direcly utilizes raw data without feature extraction, based on end-to-end learning. However, a disadvantage of the DNN is processing complexity, posing the difficulty of being migrated into a termnial device. To solve this, this paper proposes an arc detection method using a logistic regression that is one of simple machine learning methods.

  • The CBS and the AEAS functionalities are defined in cellular systems and T-DMB systems, respectively. In the case that communication facilities are disabled in indoor environments, it is impossible for the residents to receive the emergency messages. In this paper, a novel collaborative technology of intelligent mobile robots is proposed, which relies on cooperative communications among the intelligent mobile robots. In order to improve the performance, the intelligent mobile robots exploit their location information. Simulation results confirm that the proposed method is very suitable for reliable emergency alert broadcast.

The Impact of Korean Wave on the Distribution of Consumer Goods Exports

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to provide a basis for establishing a policy to promote the export of Korean goods through the economic ripple effect of the Korean Wave. From 2001 to 2017, cultural goods exports and consumer goods exports data to 102 countries were used to estimate the effect of cultural goods exports on domestic consumer goods exports. Research design, data and methodology: Based on the Gravity Model, we analyzed the effects of domestic film, publishing, music, broadcasting, clothing, cosmetics, processed food, IT products, and automobiles on the export of consumer goods. Results: The empirical analysis estimated the trade creation effect of exports of cultural products driving exports of consumer goods and found that a 1% increase in exports of cultural products increased 0.136% in exports of consumer goods. Conclusions: The average rate of change in consumer goods exports due to changes in cultural product exports was 22.44, which could be interpreted as an increase of $2,244 in exports of consumer goods such as IT products, cosmetics, clothing, and processed foods. According to the analysis of export-driven effects of each consumer item by dividing cultural products by sector, the effects of export of processed foods, clothing, cosmetics, IT products, and film, music, publishing exports were statistically significant.

Impacts of Corporate Social and Philanthropy Communications on Customer Loyalty: New Evidence from Saudi Banking Market

  • The study aimed to determine the impact of societal participation on the customer loyalty of Saudi banks and identify the statistical differences in customer loyalty according to sex, age, education level, and occupation type. The independent variable is corporate societal participation, and the dependent represents customer loyalty. Corporate societal programs have two dimensions: social participation and philanthropic participation. The research population consists of Saudi workers in three sectors: government, military, and private reached 3.58 million people in 2021. The unit of analysis is the Saudi employee in one formal industry and dealing with the Saudi banks that offered corporate societal participation programs. The research used the appropriate stratified sampling method, and the recommended sample size reached 387 respondents. A fully structured questionnaire is used. The study concluded that corporate social programs have not impacted customer loyalty, while corporate philanthropy programs strongly affected customer loyalty. On the other hand, there are no differences in customer loyalty according to demographics (sex, age, education, and occupation type). Finally, the study presents a set of recommendations in the field of corporate social responsibility and develops the local communities.

  • The purpose of this research is to investigate the impact of Business Intelligence (BI) on the relation between Big Data Analytics (BDA) and Financial Performance (FP), at the beginning we reviewed the academic accounting and finance literature to develop the theoretical framework of business intelligence, big data and financial performance in terms of definition, motivations and theories, then we conduct an empirical analysis based on questionnaire-base survey data collected. The researchers identified the study population in the joint-stock companies listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange and operating in the sectors and activities related to modern technologies in information systems, big data analytics, and business intelligence, in addition to the auditing offices that review the financial reports of these companies, and The sector closest to the research objective is the communications, media, and information technology sector, where the survey list was distributed among the sample companies with (15) lists for each company, and (15) lists for each audit office, so that the total sample becomes (120) individuals (with a response rate 83.3%), The results show, First, Big data analytics significantly affect organizations' financial performance, second, Business intelligence mediates (partial) the relationship between big data analytics and financial performance.

  • PMO(Project Management Office)는 프로젝트 수행을 일관성 있게 관리하는 조직으로 프로젝트의 효율성을 극대화하고자 수행 초기부터 전체적인 일정을 계획하고 관리하며, 프로젝트의 성공적 수행을 도모한다. 본 논문에서는 실제 IT 프로젝트를 수행한 사람들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 첫째, 프로젝트 성과에 영향을 주는 PMO의 핵심 기능을 5가지로 정의하고 둘째, PMO가 조직의 성과에 기여하는 영역을 경쟁가치모형1)을 이용하여 4가지 모델로 분류하였다. 셋째, 프로젝트 성과에 영향을 미치는 PMO 기능을 통계적으로 분석하여 도출하였다. 연구결과로 한국은 PMO 기능 중에 프로젝트를 통해 알게 된 교훈이나 지식을 관리하는 학습영역은 조직의 성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있지만 프로젝트에 대한 통제 및 보고, 표준화 된 관리 방법론은 성과에 기여하지 못하고 있음을 확인하였다. 향후 본 연구를 통해 PMO가 조직에서 성공적으로 도입되기 위해서 수행해야 할 주요 역할을 명확히 함으로서 프로젝트 관리 수준을 향상시키고 프로젝트 수행에 PMO를 효과적으로 활용하고자 한다.

  • 재난문자 전송은 기지국에서 다수의 단말기로 재난문자를 전달하는 단방향 프로토콜인 CBS 긴급 재난문자 서비스를 이용한다. 이 CBS 전송 기법은 일대다(One-to-Many) 방식을 이용한다. 현 CBS 프로토콜은 일종의 방송 방식으로 기지국은 긴급재난문자를 수신한 단말기로부터 어떠한 확인 메시지도 전달받지 못한다. 그러나 재난관리기관은 효율적인 재난 대응을 위하여 재난지역의 재난문자 수신자로부터 유용한 정보를 전달받을 필요가 있다. 즉 CBS 재난문자를 수신한 단말기들로부터 재난관리기관 서버로 CBS 메시지에 대한 응답 메시지를 전달받는 방식으로 유용한 정보를 취합할 수 있다. 이러한 전달방식을 위해 다대일(many-to-one) 통신 기법이 고려된다.

Design of Block Codes for Distributed Learning in VR/AR Transmission

  • Audience reactions in response to remote virtual performances must be compressed before being transmitted to the server. The server, which aggregates these data for group insights, requires a distribution code for the transfer. Recently, distributed learning algorithms such as federated learning have gained attention as alternatives that satisfy both the information security and efficiency requirements. In distributed learning, no individual user has access to complete information, and the objective is to achieve a learning effect similar to that achieved with the entire information. It is therefore important to distribute interdependent information among users and subsequently aggregate this information following training. In this paper, we present a new extension technique for minimal code that allows a new minimal code with a different length and Hamming weight to be generated through the product of any vector and a given minimal code. Thus, the proposed technique can generate minimal codes with previously unknown parameters. We also present a scenario wherein these combined methods can be applied.
