  • Educational reform in Ukraine encourages the use of multimedia technologies in the training of specialists in Physical Education and Sports, which is one of the promising directions of education development. Therefore, the article specifies the content of the terms "innovation" and "technology". For modern society, the introduction of multimedia technologies in education is not so much theoretical as pragmatic, since under condition of globalization it concerns its historical development and prospects associated with the so-called "high technologies".Our goal is to improve the training of Physical Education and Sports specialists by means of multimedia technologies. All of innovative technologies can be divided into four groups, depending on the appropriate form of educational activity for their use. The development of multimedia technologies in the training of specialists in Physical Education and Sport at the present stage of education development should be carried out in accordance with the criteria of manufacturability, which are presented in the article: scientism, to rely on the theoretical provisions of pedagogical science and methods of teaching the discipline, socially recognized educational goals, prospects for modernization of Education; consistency, which provides for the interaction of parts and the whole in the organization of the study environment, as a result of which the physical development of the young generation is an integral entity; guarantee, that is, the error between the planned and obtained results should be minimal; manageability, that is, full management of the stages of work of the teacher and students, which make up the completed cycle of actions; mass participation, for the purpose of applying the technology does not depend on the physical training of students, the pedagogical skill of the teacher and the type of educational institutions. The article presents the theory and method of organizing sports events and circuses in the training of specialists in Physical Education and Sports by means of multimedia technologies. In order to increase the level of physical development of a person, physical fitness and the state of health of students, which has a clear trend to constant deterioration, it is necessary to instill love for sports, carry out high-quality training and organize sports events using multimedia technologies. In the process of sports activities, the participants' mental education is carried out. There are two types of communication here: direct and indirect, which are described in the article. In games and sports competitions, there are many opportunities for forming rules of collective behavior. The main issues of the organization of sports activities by means of multimedia technologies have been clarified. During sports competitions, the tasks presented in Physical Education and sports classes are improved, which ensure the improvement of physical and theoretical training of the individual. The pleasure of sports, bright, emotional spectacles, confirmed by multimedia technologies, arises from the participation of the viewer in them.

  • Volatility is one of the variables that the Black-Scholes model requires for option pricing. It is an unknown variable at the present time, however, since the option price can be observed in the market, implied volatility can be derived from the price of an option at any given point in time and can represent the market's expectation of future volatility. Although volatility in the Black-Scholes model is constant, when calculating implied volatility, it is common to observe a volatility smile which shows that the implied volatility is different depending on the strike prices. We implement supervised learning to target implied volatility by adding V-KOSPI to ease volatility smile. We examine the estimation performance of KOSPI200 index options' implied volatility using various Machine Learning algorithms such as Linear Regression, Tree, Support Vector Machine, KNN and Deep Neural Network. The training accuracy was the highest(99.9%) in Decision Tree model and test accuracy was the highest(96.9%) in Random Forest model.

  • This study was performed to obtain basic data in relation to instructional design and teaching strategy according to instructional modes. For the purpose of this study, participants evaluated the qualities of the instructions they attended and the results of the evaluation were compared according to 4 instructional modes(content class, online real-time class, online and face-to-face mixed class, and face-to-face class). As a result of the study, there were differences in the evaluation regarding the appropriateness of the course according to instructional modes. That is, satisfaction with lecture progress was lower in the online real-time classes than in content classes, mixed classes, and face-to-face classes. As a result of the descriptive lecture evaluation analysis, in the content class type, students answered that they were satisfied with the easily understandable and interesting explanations. In the case of the online real-time classes, it was found that they were satisfied with thorough preparation and effective communication. In the mixed class type, they said they were satisfied with the systematic class and passionate lecture, and in the face-to-face classes, the pleasure of interaction and the enthusiasm of the instructor were identified as the main reasons for satisfaction. It was analyzed that the satisfaction characteristic commonly derived from the four class types was the enthusiasm of the instructor. The results of this study are expected to provide implications for instructional design and teaching strategy establishment according to each instructional mode.

  • This study explored the differences in health information verification behavior according to digital literacy and health empowerment between elderly and non-elderly groups. Targeting a total of 1,000 people in the two groups, demographic characteristics according to digital literacy and health empowerment were investigated. Interestingly, this study found that elderly people fell primarily in the category of low digital literacy and high health empowerment. However, non-elderly people were frequently found in the high digital literacy and low health empowerment category. Also, our analyses found an interaction effect in digital literacy and health empowerment on health information verification behavior in the elderly group, while the main effect of health empowerment was verified in the non-elderly group. These results imply that the elderly need to improve both digital literacy and health empowerment, while the non-elderly need to focus on developing subjective confidence through health empowerment.

  • This paper presents a deep learning based group synchronization that supports networked immersive interactions between remote users. The goal of group synchronization is to enable all participants to synchronously interact with others for increasing user presence Most previous methods focus on NTP-based clock synchronization to enhance time accuracy. Moving average filters are used to control media playout time on the synchronization server. As an example, the exponentially weighted moving average(EWMA) would be able to track and estimate accurate playout time if the changes in input data are not significant. However it needs more time to be stable for any given change over time due to codec and system loads or fluctuations in network status. To tackle this problem, this work proposes the Deep Group Synchronization(DeepGroupSync), a group synchronization based on deep learning that models important features from the data. This model consists of two Gated Recurrent Unit(GRU) layers and one fully-connected layer, which predicts an optimal playout time by utilizing the sequential playout delays. The experiments are conducted with an existing method that uses the EWMA and the proposed method that uses the DeepGroupSync. The results show that the proposed method are more robust against unpredictable or rapid network condition changes than the existing method.

  • During the pandemic, social distancing continued for a long period of time, and as a result, this situation raised the possibility of the online space as a place for serious social relationships. In particular, metaverse platforms are adding to the reality of virtual space by expanding their functions so that users can provide various online events and have a variety of new experiences. This study attempted to examine the social relationship between reality and the metaverse according to social inclinations and behavior patterns. As a result of this study, the group with a high sense of inferiority in their usual relationship and the group with low satisfaction with their usual social interaction felt high discomfort at a similar level in both real and metaverse relationships. The group with the opposite inclination felt more uncomfortable in the metaverse relationship than in reality. In addition, whether the behavior patterns in the metaverse and in reality were different or same did not significantly affect the difference in attidudes between the metaverse and reality. In the case of group with different behavior patterns, however, if they were satisfied with how they look in the metaverse, their intimacy with social relationships was also high. This results implicate that we need to make an special effort for the development of social relationships in the metaverse era.
