지자기 센서와 무선통신을 이용한 PMS의 스마트폰 인터페이스 구현 (Implementation of a Smartphone Interface for a Personal Mobility System Using a Magnetic Compass Sensor and Wireless Communication)

  • 본 논문에서는 지자기센서와 스마트폰을 사용하여 개인이동시스템(PMS)을 구현한다. 지자기센서를 사용한 PMS 제어 시스템은 탑승자가 원하는 방향으로 스마트폰을 향하게 하면 PMS는 탑승자가 원하는 방향으로 이동한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 스마트폰 제어 PMS는 지자기센서를 사용함으로써 버튼 조작에 의한 제어보다 더 직관적으로 PMS를 제어하므로 사용자에게 더욱 편리한 인터페이스를 제공한다. 그리고, PMS에 장착된 모터의 기계적 특성을 보정하기 위하여 지자기센서가 사용되었다. 또한, 본 논문은 지자기센서 기반의 PMS의 제어방법으로 절대방향과 상대방향 제어방법을 제안한다. 실험 결과로서 제안된 두 가지 방법으로 지자기센서 기반의 PMS가 편리하고 효과적으로 제어되었다.

사면방재를 위한 무선센서 네트워크 기술연구 (Landslide Detection using Wireless Sensor Networks)

  • Recently, landslides have frequently occurred on natural slopes during periods of intense rainfall. With a rapidly increasing population on or near steep terrain in Korea, landslides have become one of the most significant natural hazards. Thus, it is necessary to protect people from landslides and to minimize the damage of houses, roads and other facilities. To accomplish this goal, many landslide prediction methods have been developed in the world. In this study, a simple landslide prediction system that enables people to escape the endangered area is introduced. The system is focused to debris flows which happen frequently during periods of intense rainfall. The system is based on the wireless sensor network (WSN) that is composed of sensor nodes, gateway, and server system. Sensor nodes comprising a sensing part and a communication part are developed to detect ground movement. Sensing part is designed to measure inclination angle and acceleration accurately, and communication part is deployed with Bluetooth (IEEE 802.15.1) module to transmit the data to the gateway. To verify the feasibility of this landslide prediction system, a series of experimental studies was performed at a small-scale earth slope equipped with an artificial rainfall dropping device. It is found that sensing nodes installed at slope can detect the ground motion when the slope starts to move. It is expected that the landslide prediction system by wireless senor network can provide early warnings when landslides such as debris flow occurs.

유효강우량과 유량에 따른 하천 부유쓰레기 이동량 산출 (Estimation of Movement Amount of River Floating Debris Based on Effective Rainfall and Flow Rate)

  • 장마나 집중호우 등에 의한 지속적인 강우는 비점오염원의 유출과 더불어 유량을 증가시킨다. 그리고 유량의 증가로 수위가 상승하게 되면 하천 주변에 산재되어 있던 부유쓰레기는 빨라진 유속에 의해 이동하게 된다. 하지만 현재 국내외에서 강우량과 유량을 분석하여 부유쓰레기의 이동량을 정량적으로 산출한 연구 사례는 없었다. 이에 본 연구에서는 SCS-CN 방법을 이용하여 산출한 유효 강우량과 유량 변화에 따른 이동 경로 모니터링 결과를 토대로 부유쓰레기의 이동량을 산정하였다.

A Synchronic Note on Early American English

  • The purpose of this paper was to take an in-depth look at early American English around the $17^{th}$ and $18^{th}$ century when immigrants from different European countries started to move into the New World. The paper attempted to describe early American English in relation to the process of immigration and settlement from a historical perspective. With a focus on major features of early American English such as uniformity, archaism and richness of lexicon, the paper tried to answer the questions such as how settlement influenced the formation and distribution of regional dialects across the continent, why immigrants tended to show a preference for a uniform way of speaking rather than choosing a variety of regional dialects for communication, and what role foreign languages played in the development of early American English. The overall findings based on the answers to these questions showed how American English went through a variety of processes and changes at the early stages of its development to become a national language later. The paper concluded with some remarks about the implications of the findings for EFL learning and the direction of future research on early American English.

PS-LTE 재난안전통신망에 관한 정책 연구 (A Study on the Public Safety Long Term Evolution Disaster Communication Network)

  • 국가재난안전통신망 구축사업 기술방식으로 공공안전 롱텀에볼루션(PS-LTE) 방식이 선정됐다. 이를 통해 2017년부터 경찰, 소방, 군 등 모든 재난안전 책임기관이 음성뿐 아니라 동영상 등 멀티미디어 정보를 활용해 구조활동을 벌일 수 있게 됐다. PS-LTE는 기존 LTE 기술에 그룹통화, 단말기 간 직접통신, 단독 기지국 기능 등이 추가된 방식이다. 지금까지 각 재난안전기관이 사용하던 통신기술은 음성만 전달할 수 있었다. PS-LTE 기술을 이용하면 멀티미디어 전송이 가능해진다. 본 논문에서는 해외 주요국에서 추진 중에 있는 광대역 공공안전통신정책 기술동향을 분석하고, 이를 통해 국내 광대역 공공안전통신 도입 시 고려해야 할 사항을 알아보았다.

Development of the nuclear safety trust indicator

  • This study went beyond making an indicator simply based on theoretical arguments, and explored a wide spectrum of different types of perceptions about energy safety to make a concept of energy safety for the Korean society. The energy safety schemata of people can be divided into three types. Type1 is concern about multi-level risks-responsibility-centric, type2 is concern about security and personal burden-expertise-centric, and type3 is concern about health and personal burden-responsibility-centric. Questions were designed on the basis of the characteristics, differences and commonalities of the three types of perceptions, explored through the Q methodology, and Koreans' perception of nuclear safety was examined. Based on the results of this research the following components of trust in nuclear safety were derived, risk perception, responsibility, honesty, expertise and procedural justification. The items for specifically evaluating them were developed, and factor analysis was conducted, and as a result, the validity of each item was proven. The components of the nuclear safety trust indicator do not exist independently, but influence each other continuously through interactions. For this reason, rather than focusing on any one of them, laws and systems must be improved first so that they can move together in one big frame.

  • 본 논문은 우리나라의 해난 사고가 매년 500건씩 발생되어 많은 인명과 재산피해가 나타나고 있다. 그러므로 해난 재해시 선박 통신의 역할은 많은 인명과 재산피해를 가져오는 원인을 제거하는 것이라 생각하고 종합적인 해난체제의 정보망구축을 통하여 항해중인 모든 선박에 해난 정보를 제공하고자 한다.

A Case Study on the Diversity of International Co-produced Drama

  • The importance of international co-production that enables content production, diversification of overseas markets, and diversification has been highlighted as demand for content has soared due to intensifying competition between media outlets, while contents provision has become easier due to changes in media environment such as convergence of broadcasting and communication and the spread of mobile Internet. In particular, the boom in Korean dramas, called the Korean Wave in China, opened up a new market after "My Love from the Star" in 2014, and in 2016, Netflix's entry into Korea served as an opportunity for local broadcasters and producers to seek international co-production. In addition, "Good Doctor" which was aired on American Broadcasting Co. (ABC) in 2017, has topped the same time slot for the first time in 29 years, and is set to air season 4 this fall. Accordingly, overseas broadcasters and production companies wanted to collaborate with domestic broadcasters and producers, and since 2011, they have conducted a total of 12 co-produced dramas until 2019. Unfortunately, however, there are few studies related to international co-production dramas in the domestic industry and academia. In this paper, we present to help Korea, which used to be a powerhouse in complete export-type content, move toward becoming a powerhouse in international co-produced dramas. In addition, it is meaningful that the research focused on the current status and achievements of international co-production dramas, which have not been studied much, and the diversity of international co-production dramas in the future through the analysis of the form and structure of international co-production.

횡단보도 보행자 안전을 위한 전자감응시스템 (A Study on E-sensitized Systems for Pedestrian Crosswalk Safety)

  • 신호등은 적색, 녹색일 때 다른 의미를 나타낸다. 자동차 운전자와 횡단보도의 보행자는 신호등의 신호에 따라 움직이거나 멈춰야한다. 그러나 이러한 신호를 무시하거나 보지 않을 경우 사고가 발생할 확률이 높다. 또한 곡선형 횡단보도에서는 적외선 센서를 이용한 안내 방송 시스템을 설치하기가 어려운 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 카메라를 이용하여 보행자를 검지하는 방법을 설계 및 구현한다. 보행철주에 설치된 카메라가 보행자를 촬영하고, 촬영된 이미지를 통해 보행자 검지구간을 설정한다. 제안하는 시스템을 사용하면 곡선형 횡단보도에서 보행자 검지를 하는데 효율적이다.

A Design of Client BBS System for Secure HVA

  • In this paper, we propose a new type of client server environment to improve the architecture vulnerable to hacking in an existing client server environment. On the server side, move the existing Web server to the client side and This is a way for clients to communicate only the data they need and suggests a structure that completely blocks the web attack itself to the server. This can completely prevent a server from being hacked, spreading malicious code and hacking data on a server. It also presents a new paradigm that will not affect servers even if malware is infected with client PCs. This paper validates the proposed environment through BBS (Big Bad Stick) hardware in the form of USB on the client side. This study proof that secure services are provided through encryption communication with server-side security equipment, indicating that this study is a system with new security.
