In the construction machinery rental market, there are frequent cases of sublease through large-scale rental companies or rental through mediation organizations without legal grounds. In addition, institutional improvement of the construction machine safety management system has been required due to concerns over the internalization of legal inspections due to the lack of type approval data and construction machine history management during the construction machine inspection process. The government is responsible for securing safety of construction machinery and promoting mechanization of construction machinery by efficiently managing the construction machinery market by setting safety management such as type approval, registration, and inspection of construction machinery. In order to efficiently implement this, it is required to establish a platform for renting construction machinery and collecting safety management information. We presented a plan to build a public platform for construction machinery to secure the soundness of the construction machinery rental market and to improve safety management.

This study attempted to obtain implications for digital education policy by reviewing the Framework Acts and Enforcement Decrees related to digital education. To this end, the following were explored. First, the concept and components of digital competency were reviewed. Second, the Framework Acts and Enforcement Decrees related to digital education policy were reviewed using the above concepts. Third, the characteristics and implications of the Framework Acts and Enforcement Decrees for digital education were explored. The results are as follows: Korea's digital education policy tried to reflect the categories that digital competency must cover, even its function and dysfunction role. However, to achieve their purpose, it is necessary to maintain consistency with related laws or policies. We identified that amendments to the Basic Act and related articles are essential to effectively enforce the Digital-Based Distance Education Activation Basic Act. A reevaluation of the correlation between Article 10, emphasizing digital media literacy education, and Article 5 of the enforcement decree is necessary. Revision of the enforcement decree to align with Article 10's objectives is vital to ensure proactive measures for promoting digital literacy and competence as mandated by the Basic Act.

Contents services have been provided to people in a variety of ways. Jukebox service is one of the contents streaming which provides an automated music-playing service. User inserts coin and presses a play button, the jukebox automatically selects and plays the record. The Disk Jockey (DJ) in Korean cafeteria (café) received contents desired of customer and played them through the speakers in the store. In this paper, we propose a service platform that reinvented the Korean café DJ in an integrated environment of IoT and cloud computing. The user in a store can request contents (music, video, and message) through the service platform. The contents are provided through the public screen and speaker in the store where the user is located. This allows people in the same location store to enjoy the contents together. The user information and the usage history are collected and managed in the cloud. Therefore, users can receive customized services regardless of stores. We compare our platform to exist services. As a result of the performance evaluation, the proposed platform shows that contents can be efficiently provided to users and adapts IoT-Cloud integrated environments.

The purpose of this study is to examine how the $Dong-A$ $Ilbo$, a prevailing newspaper in Korea, has constructed 5.18 discourse. In the last thirty years or so in Korea, '5.18(the Gwangju Democratization Movement)', in both academic and social realm, has been one of the most disputed issues in the process of political change. However, little attention has been given to this topic in the field of communication study. Thus, we attempted to illuminate the construction of 5.18 dicourse by using terms analysis and discourse analysis of editorials during the period of May 18, 1980-December 31, 2010. From the study, it is found that the use of terms has changed from 'crisis' through 'resistance', 'slaughter', 'revolt' to 'democratization movement' in the $Dong-A$ $Ilbo$. And it is also found that 5.18 discourse has been developed in the order of 'tragic incident discourse', 'truth investigation discourse', 'rehabilitation discourse', 'deferment discourse', 'punishment discourse', 'political strife discourse' in the editorials of the $Dong-A$ $Ilbo$. These shifts of terms and discourse have been mostly led by socio-political changes. Based on the research results, the central characteristics of 5.18 discourse of the Korean mainstream press were elaborated and the implications of the results were discussed.

This study is a case study of STEAM education. We have developed teaching and learning materials, suggested teaching method, and analysed the result for exploring the potential and effect of STEAM. The content of this study is based on the history of mathematics. Science (S) is related to the 24 divisions of the year, the height of the sun, the movement of heavenly bodies. Technology (T) is related to the exploration with graphic calculators. Engineering (E) is related to design sundial and research on the design principles. Art (A) is related to literature review about mathematical history, the understanding of the value of the mathematics. Mathematics (M) is related to the trigonometric functions. We have considered that Project-Based Learning is proper teaching and learning for STEAM education, we have designed the STEAM PBL and analysed the results focused on the developing integrative knowledge, mathematical attitude including mathematical value, the competencies of 21 century. The result of this study is as follows. We find that STEAM education activates students' collaboration, communication skills and improves representation and critical thinking skills. Also STEAM education makes positive changes of students' mathematical attitudes including the values of the mathematics.

Background: Breast cancer is by far the most frequent cancer of women (23 % of all cancers), ranking second overall when both sexes are considered together. Contralateral breast cancer (CBC) is becoming an important public health issue because of the increased incidence of primary breast cancer and improved survival. The present communication concerns a study to evaluate the role of various clinico-pathological factors on the occurrence of contralateral breast cancer. Materials and Methods: A detailed analysis was carried out with respect to age, menopausal status, family history, disease stage, surgery performed, histopathology, hormone receptor status, and use of chemotherapy or hormonal therapy. The diagnosis of CBC was confirmed on histopathology report. Relative risk with 95%CI was calculated for different risk factors of contralateral breast cancer development. Results: CBC was found in 24 (4.5%) out of 532 patients. Mean age of presentation was 43.2 years. Family history of breast cancer was found in 37.5% of the patients. There was statistically significant higher rate (83.3%) of CBC in patients in age group of 20-40 years with RR=11.3 (95% CI: 1.4, 89.4, p=0.006) seen in 20-30 years and RR=10.8 (95% CI:1.5-79.6, p=0.002) in 30-40 years as compared to older age of 60-70 years. Risk of development was higher in premenopausal women (RR=8.6, 95% CI: 3.5-21.3, $p{\leq}0.001$). Women with family history of breast cancer had highest rate (20.9%) of CBC (RR=5.4, 95% CI: 2.5-11.6, $p{\leq}0.001$). Use of hormonal therapy in hormone receptor positive patients was protective factor in occurrence of CBC but not significant (RR=0.7, 95% CI: 0.3-1.5, p=0.333). Conclusions: Younger age, premenopausal status, and presence of family history were found to be significant risk factors for the development of CBC. Use of hormonal therapy in hormone receptor positive patients might be protective against occurrence of CBC but did not reach significance.

The recent development of embodiment technology of the medical images makes most medical institutions introduce PACS(Picture Archiving and Communication System) in haste. However lots of PACS solutions, currently developed and distributed, haven't been able to serve the convenience of users and to satisfy user's demand because of economic limitations and administrator-oriented considerations in the process of development. So we have developed MIH(Medical Image History), by which we can search and refer to the patient's medical images and information with few restrictions of time and space for diagnosis and treatment. This program will contribute to the improvement in the medical environment and meet the clients' need. We'll make more effort to develop the application which insures the better quality of medical images. MIH manages the patient's image files and medical records like film chart in connection with time. This trial will contribute to the reduction of the economical loss caused by unnecessary references and improve the quality in the medical services. The demand on the development or the program which refers to the medical +ata quickly and keeps them stable will be continued by the medical institute. This will satisfy the client's demand and improve the service to the patients in that tile program will be modified from the standpoint of the users. MIH is trying to keep user-oriented policy and to apply the benefit of the analog system to the digital environment. It is necessary to lead the public to the better understanding that the systematic management and referring of the medical images is as important as the quality of the images.

The purpose of this research is to systemize the fashion digital storytelling by analyzing the communication method and its elements, and extracting the characteristics and processes of digital storytelling. Based on the previous study on the characteristics and types of storytelling the following things have been researched: 1) the process of digital storytelling in the communication process, 2) the concept and the feature of the academia of digital storytelling 3) storytelling in the document research. On the groundwork of the document research, we were able to sort out the various types, and formed a system of the features in the fashion digital storytelling cases, mainly in the four collections (Milan, Paris, London, New York) from 2000's to recent years of 2010. The types of fashion digital storytelling are episode type, narrative type, and creative type. The characteristics of each of the types are as follows. Firstly, the episode type communicates through the digital media based on the information or fact of the fashion designer brand. Secondly, narrative type communicates with the consumers using previous literature or an existing idea of the original cultural form that is rearranged in digital story expressed by the digital media. Lastly, creative type makes the designer's and consumer's susceptibility and creativity communicate through the newly made story, which expresses the unique originality of the designer. It seems that the cases and studies of using the fashion digital storytelling will increase because of its short history and lack of the case study. Fashion designer brands will show their brand image using the digital storytelling because they are able to better express originality, creativity and imagination of the fashion designer, which were factors that could not be conveyed through fashion alone.

Advancement of science and technology have led to development of the media, which has evolved election campaign strategies. Nowadays, media development has made communication more important, and it is a growing trend where smart-device applications are widely used to facilitate communication with electors. Based on Google's Fire base Cloud Messaging (FCM) push service, which keeps up with the fast-changing election trends and supports election campaigns systematically, this research aims to help accomplish the goals of an election campaign by developing an information system and performing empirical analysis of the variables that the information system affects. The system consists of an elector's application and a management system. The management system includes browsing and management of received-and sent-message history, and direct management of the application. By managing the push system in more progressive ways, this system will help to improve the effectiveness of election campaigns and accomplish election goals.

This study investigated the coverage on the settlement of pro-Japanese Koreans by Dongailbo and Chosunilbo during the U.S. Military Government period. 266 related articles of two newspapers searched by 6 keywords were analyzed quantitatively. And the qualitative analysis on the coverage of related issues were supplemented. Generally two newspapers can be evaluated as passive on the pro-Japanese issues. They said that anti-national activities of that time which might be an obstacle to the establishment of independent nation even more critical than the pro-Japanese activities in the past. In addition they suggested to suspend the settlement of pro-Japanese Koreans after the establishment of Korean Government, because the settlement might cause a big confusion and a vacuum of personnel. On some issues the distinction between two newspapers derived from their political orientation were revealed. Dongailbo represented the standpoint of the rightists fully and Chosunilbo revealed relatively balanced coverage.
