The Development of Monitoring System in the Scrubber of Semiconductor Manufacture Processing (반도체 공정의 SCRUBBER 감시 시스템 개발)

  • In this paper, we discuss the development of monitoring system with data process equipment which transfers data from Remote Terminal Unit(RTU) to monitoring computer. The RTUs sense temperature, pressure and PLC(Programmable Logic Controller) nodes conditions of scrubber in semiconductor manufacture processing. The data Process equipment is connected every RTU and a monitoring computer through serial communication. This equipment receives informations from RTU, process data, and transfers them to monitoring computer. To avoid congestion in data communication, task scheduling algorithm used RT O/S(Real-Time Operating System) is embedded in ROM which is a part of data Process equipment.

  • How accurately reproducible energy is delivered to the wafer in the process of making thin films using PE-CVD (Plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition) during the semiconductor process. This is the most important technique, and most of the reaction on the wafer surface is made by thermal energy. In this study, we studied the method of monitoring the change of thermal energy transferred to the wafer surface by monitoring the temperature change according to the change of the thin film formed on the showerhead facing the wafer. Through this research, we could confirm the monitoring of wafer thin-film which is changed due to abnormal operation and accumulation of equipment, and we can expect improvement of semiconductor quality and yield through process reproducibility and equipment status by real-time monitoring of problem of deposition process equipment performance.

  • In this paper, it is reviewed implementation of information system base on RFID for management of power equipment, and the managed status items are input/out of resource, purchasing and ordering, drawing management, equipment specification, handling of operator, received order, stock control, production results, system management, and so on. the proposed paper is designed and implemented based on RFID status management system to support monitoring services of diagnosis the failure status monitoring.

  • The tendency of lightning surge to propagate is a eared variously depend on the power system and subject equipment of protection. However, looking into the subject equipment with the lightning surge, the invasion route of lightning surge can be divided in between the two lines of power, between the power line and the ground, the power line and the PE conductor, between the neutral line and the ground and the like. In addition, in the event of the communication equipment, there exists the route of lightning surge incoming from between the communication lines, the communication line and the ground in addition to the power lines. In this study, the tendency of propagation of lightning surge penetrated on to the subject equipment is analyzed through the empirical experiment in accordance with the ground method by using the independent ground, common ground and bypass arrester ground for safety improvement in power lines.

  • In this paper, for the purpose of improving the future domestic train control systems and securing interoperability according to the global development trends of train control systems, we present the test results of communication interfaces to verify the interoperability between CBTC wayside units tentatively installed in Bundang line that is one of the metropolitan area rail transit systems, and the CBTC onboard units developed through the national R/D project. The CBTC onboard equipment developed, has finished its installation and trial tests in the Bundang shunting yard. For the interoperability test, we should make an interface test with wayside equipment tentatively installed in Bundang line. Due to the safety-critical characteristics of train systems, the site test in the section where the wayside equipment is installed, leads to a danger against safety. Therefore, by way of constructing a simulation environment of train control systems, we confirm the T/R data systems of the equipment for interoperability and test the interoperability by applying these systems to developed CBTC onboard equipment.

  • In this paper, a design and implemented of the data communication system on the entails inherent safety with the distress and urgency of maritime data communication services that are required for functional limitations of the existing mounting equipment and services to determine the likelihood MF/HF, VHF, Inmarsat satellite communication has a diversification of the GMDSS ship communication equipment. Proposed role and direction of the GMDSS on the communication media by the communication cost, throughput, communication speed and processing services available, communication range, etc. by conducting a performance analysis and evaluation in the future maritime communications environment.

  • Railway signaling systems consist of several vital computerized equipment such as CTC(Centralized Traffic Control), EIS(Electronic Interlocking System), ATC(Automatic Train Control) and so on. Currently, the project for development of railway signaling systems for the next-generation high-speed train is progressed according to the G7 project and railway signaling related several companies and research institute are joined this project consortium. The railway signaling systems, being developed in this project, called as a kTCS(Korean Train Control System), is composed of kTCS-CTC, kTCS-IXL, kTCS-ATC and etc. kTCS signaling systems have to be operated at the laboratory testing level as integrated signaling systems by interface between each railway signaling systems before railway field installation and revenue service. To solve this matter, communication protocols between each signaling equipment are designed and message codes for each defined protocols have defined. And also several equipment has developed for the railway integrated signaling systems for laboratory testing. We has plentifully tested and verified the designed protocols and the characteristics of integrated railway signaling systems with our developed each kTCS signaling equipment and communication protocols. In this paper, the integrated kTCS system including communication protocols is presented.

In-Flight Calibration Method for Direction Finding of Communication Signals based on Aviation Systems (항공 시스템 기반의 통신신호 방향 탐지를 위한 비행 보정 기법)

  • Direction-finding equipment with multiple antennas are used to estimate the direction of a signal emitted by a source; they can be used to rescue a victim or locate a specified source. During direction finding, reflection waves are present and signal distortion is observed depending on the external shape and material of a system that incorporates the direction-finding equipment and multiple antennas. Therefore, to accurately estimate the azimuth of the signal source and develop the direction-finding equipment, a calibration should be performed to reflect the influence of the antenna arrangement(layout) and system contour. In this paper, we describe an in-flight calibration method to develop direction-finding equipment to locate communication signals using an aviation system, and we analyze the direction-finding performance when applying phase calibration data obtained through the in-flight calibration.

Implementation for Real-Time of MIL-STD-1553B Communication in Inspection Equipment Based on Windows with RTiK and DPC Control (RTiK과 DPC 제어를 통한 윈도우즈 기반의 검사장비에서 MIL-STD-1553B 통신의 실시간 구현)

  • It is very important to support real-time on the inspection equipment based on Windows. In particular, in the system using MIL-STD-1553B communication, which is widely used in military weapon systems, real-time is required for inspection equipment that uses mostly platforms based on Windows such as Industrial PCs. However, in order to use a complete real-time operating system such as VxWorks, the purchase cost is expensive and the implementation is complicated on the system, so it is not suitable for inspection equipment that requires simple functions to just check go or no-go. Therefore, in this paper, a Real-Time implanted Kernel(RTiK) in the Windows kernel is implanted in order to improve these defects, and real-time performance is implemented for periodically MIL-STD-1553B communication by Deferred Procedure Call(DPC) of Windows. Also, it was verified that the period of up to 2ms was guaranteed with a RDTSC into the EDX:EAX registers for measuring the periodicity.

A Study on the Detection Model of Illegal Access to Large-scale Service Networks using Netflow (Netflow를 활용한 대규모 서비스망 불법 접속 추적 모델 연구)

  • To protect tangible and intangible assets, most of the companies are conducting information protection monitoring by using various security equipment in the IT service network. As the security equipment that needs to be protected increases in the process of upgrading and expanding the service network, it is difficult to monitor the possible exposure to the attack for the entire service network. As a countermeasure to this, various studies have been conducted to detect external attacks and illegal communication of equipment, but studies on effective monitoring of the open service ports and construction of illegal communication monitoring system for large-scale service networks are insufficient. In this study, we propose a framework that can monitor information leakage and illegal communication attempts in a wide range of service networks without large-scale investment by analyzing 'Netflow statistical information' of backbone network equipment, which is the gateway to the entire data flow of the IT service network. By using machine learning algorithms to the Netfllow data, we could obtain the high classification accuracy of 94% in identifying whether the Telnet service port of operating equipment is open or not, and we could track the illegal communication of the damaged equipment by using the illegal communication history of the damaged equipment.
