한국적 이미지의 경기용 수영복 디자인 개발에 관한 연구 (II) - 오방색과 태극문을 중심으로 - (A Study for Developing the Competitive Swimming Suit Design with Korean Traditional Image (II) - focused on the 5 traditional colors and Taeguk motive -)

  • The purpose of the study is to develop the competitive swimming suit design with Korean traditional images. which excels in dimension of functionality, aesthetics, and symbolism. To accomplish this study, first. a theoretical examination about Korean image was added, on the basis of the practical research about professional swimmers' preferences as well as the theoretical research about the history of swimming suits and the qualifications of competitive swimming suits in the prior study. Next, practical designing was performed to achieve the creative designs according to Lamb & Kallal's design process. and the superiority of the newly designed swimming suits was evaluated by using Grant's alpha-beta model. The results of this study can be summarized as follows : First. in the problem apprehension stage. the need for swimming suit designs with Korean traditional images for professional swimmers was acknowledged, and three major criteria. which are functionality, aesthetics. and symbolism has been verified. Second. in the preliminary brainstorming stage, considerable amounts of data for the design concept considering the criteria above have been gathered. The athletic one-piece for women and the brief for men in style and nylon/lycra in fabric were used in the aspect of functionality. And the S Korean traditional colors in color and Tae-guk motive and others in pattern were selected to apply Korean traditional images in the aspects of aesthetics and symbolism. Finally, the 13 series of creative designs with 4 themes( l17pieces in total) have been suggested. Third, in the design improvement stage. after the preference to each design was surveyed, reformation of the designs was arranged on the basis of the results. Fourth, in the prototyping stage. the 17 actual prototypes, including 13 pieces for women and 4 pieces for men were produced. Fifth. in the evaluation stage. the evaluation procedure using Grant's alpha-beta model was performed. As a result, the newly designed swimming suits were rated above other existing ones in all three aspects of functionality, aesthetics, and symbolism.

시청자 경험에 의한 TV장르별 화질 (Image Quality for TV Genre Depending on Viewers Experience)

  • 기존 정지 이미지를 활용한 화질 연구는 '자연스러움'에 초점을 맞추고 있으며 이는 기억색과 깊은 관련을 맺고 있다. 기억색은 주로 선경험이 있는 친숙한 대상에 대해 형성되며 이러한 기억색을 충실히 반영할수록 화면에 재현된 화질의 자연스러움이 증가한다. 특히 기억색의 밝기와 채도는 '자연스러움'뿐만 아니라 화질의 선호도를 증가시키는데 중요한 역할을 갖는다. 이에 기존의 화질 연구의 경우 기억색이 있는 자연물과 인물 중심으로 화질 특성을 연구한 바 있다. 본 연구에서는 TV 컨텐츠를 장르별로 분류하여 각 장르별 화질 특성을 도출하였다. 이를 위해 각 장르(스포츠, 다큐멘터리, 뉴스, 오락 및 음악, 영화)의 대표 이미지를 추출하고 각 이미지의 밝기, 대비, 채도를 조절한 후 인지된 화질을 평가하는 실험을 진행하였다. 실험 결과, TV 컨텐츠 장르를 상황적 맥락에 따라 근접 경험과 간접 경험의 두 가지 범주로 분류할 수 있었다. 근접 경험은 야외 스포츠, 드라마, 자연 다큐멘터리 컨텐츠를 포함하며 근접 경험 컨텐츠의 화질은 밝기와 대비와 밀접한 관련이 있었다. 간접 경험은 뉴스, 음악 쇼, SF/액션 영화 컨텐츠를 포함하며 해당 컨텐츠의 화질은 대조와 채도와 밀접하게 연관되었다. 이러한 결과에 따라 근접 경험으로 분류되는 컨텐츠의 경우 밝기와 대비 조절에 따라 최적 화질을 구현할 수 있으며, 간접 경험으로 분류되는 컨텐츠의 경우 대조와 채도 조절에 따라 최적 화질을 구현할 수 있다.

모자제품의 소비행동과 디자인 선호도 차이 (Difference in Consumption Behavior and Preferences on Hat Produts)

  • A hat is an important fashion accessory item for a total fashion coordination and the number of millineries is increasing in the current accessory market. This research provides basic information about the millinery in relation to consumer consumption behavior, preference, and satisfaction with hat products. A survey was conducted among 395 individuals age 20 and over who were quota sampled according to age and gender to investigate the differences between genders and different age groups. The collected data were statistically treated with the SPSS 12.0 program in terms of frequency, percentage, mean, standard error, cross tabulation, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and a Duncan-test. The results are as follows: 1. Respondents wear hats for ornamental purposes regardless of the season. They discard hats when they become out of style 2 to 3 years after the purchase. 2. In general, consumers prefer the baseball cap design among various hat product categories. Achromatic colors were the favorite color tone and the preferred material was woven cloth. 3. Consumers were most satisfied with colors and most dissatisfied with deformation after laundering. 4. There was a significant difference in preferences among the different age groups. Younger consumers were more concerned about individual image and style. Older consumers considered hats as a functional means such as protecting themselves from the sun. 5. There was a significant gender difference. Compared to males, female consumers were more concerned about the quality of sewing and colorfastness than male consumers.

가방 구매행동과 디자인 선호도 연구 - 성별과 연령집단에 따른 비교분석을 중심으로 - (A Study on Bag Purchasing Behaviors and Design Preferences - Focusing on Comparative analysis by Sex and Age group -)

  • The purposes of this study were to investigate bag purchasing behaviors and design preferences of male and female adult consumers, and to find the differences depending on sex and age variable. A survey was conducted on 400 male and female adults from 20s to 50s. The questionnaire consisted of bag purchase behaviors, bag design preferences, and the subjects' demographic characteristics. The data were analyzed by Cronbach's α, factor analysis, x2 test and t-test using SPSS. The results were as follows. First, as bag selection criteria, four factors (practicality, symbolism, aesthetics, and economics) were derived, and adult consumers considered economics as the most important among the factors. As for purchasing information sources, three factors (media, human resources, and store) were derived, and adult consumers considered human resources and store information sources more important than media. The main motive for purchasing bags was age and damage of the owned products, and Internet shopping malls were the most common purchasing place. The average annual cost of purchasing bags was 100,000 to 300,000 won, and the frequency of purchase was about once a year. Second, as bag preference images, four factors (individual, romantic, active, and classic image) were derived, and adult consumers preferred classic images the most. The shoulder bag was the most preferred as the bag shape, and black was the most preferred bag color. For the material, natural leather was the most preferred, and for the size, medium size was the most preferred. Third, bag purchasing behaviors and design preferences showed many significant differences according to the sex and age of the consumers. Therefore, the results of this study suggests that bag companies need to establish product development and marketing strategies in consideration of differences according to the sex and age group of adult consumers.

  • The visual presentation is one key feature which gives much consideration in designing mobile applications as it acquires attention from the end user. It takes only a few milliseconds to form an impression on a person and this is not any different to the web and mobile application designs. The first few milliseconds are a crucial time for developers as the impression produced would indicate further engagement of the service. Developers should continuously update the designs based on human needs. A few of these contents have actually paved its way to being continuously used. By synthesizing results of preceding researchers, this paper considers layout, color, and font as UI design elements of SNS messenger, and illustration and animation as the graphic image of it. In this study, the preference for messaging application chat layout was being surveyed and analyzed. As a result, there has been little significance identified since the instant messaging, so chat layout shows very minimal variance in their design.

전통 음청류의 테이크아웃 음료 개발을 위한 소비자 조사 (A Survey on the Plans to Market Traditional Korean Beverages as Take-Out Products)

  • With the goal of searching for the ways to help market traditional beverages as take-out products, this study conducted a survey over men and women over 20 years of age in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province. Their perceptions of importance in choosing traditional beverages and conventional drinks were examined for difference. As a result, taste, reliability, health, flavor, and price were important at general beverage, while taste, health, flavor, reliability, price, and color were in choosing traditional beverages. The participants mentioned recovery from fatigue as the most favorable added feature of traditional beverages, which was followed by beneficial for adult diseases and facilitating digestion. Their preferences toward using them to satisfying a sense of hunger was relatively low. The participants preferred price range was $3,000{\sim}3,500$ won, their favorite ingredients were functional ones, and their favorite shop design was a traditional style. It seems that the marketability of traditional beverages as take-out products is high. The promotion and development efforts should involve marketing to women, differentiation strategies from other drinks, a graceful image, reliable drinks, and additional functions such as recovery from fatigue and can benefit adult diseases.

모발(毛髮) 염색(染色)에 관(關)한 실태(實態) 조사(調査) - 창원시(昌原市) 여성(女性)을 중심(中心)으로 - (Research on the Actual Condition of Hair Coloring - Focusing on the Women in Changwon City -)

  • The beauty industry of today tends to gradually develope as one of the important marketing strategies along with the total fashion sector. Hair color, being one of the factors of hair style, especially builds his or her own image and even becomes the nonverbal communication method which let others know him/herself. Therefore, women's needs and expectations of hair coloring are varied. To meet these need, it is urgent to figure out, most of all, the status of customers' awareness about hair coloring. Thus, in this study, research and analysis on hair coloring were made, focusing on the women utilizing 20 beauty shops in Changwon city. And the goal that this study set is to use as the study material for the hair coloring consulting in the beauty industry and the basic data for marketing in the industry job-sites. The conclusion by the three factors(age, job, monthly income) were as follows: 1. Dandyism was on the 1st order in the reason for coloring hair regardless of age, job, and monthly income. This seems to be speaking for the change of women's awareness of coloring hair. 2. The subject of making decision upon whether she was going to color her hair or not was herself regardless of age, job, and monthly income. Among the people belong to these three factors, brown was the color in overall preference. 3. More than half of those who belong to the three factors were not aware of the hair color, but their senses and interest in the color in vogue were high. 4. In terms of the hair coloring periodic time, many people had $2{\sim}3$months, but it was possible to know that they were interested in improving their images, considering the fact that most of the salaried people had their hair dyed within a month and the people in service job over a month. 5. The acquaintance around me had the strongest effect in collecting information from the people in those three factors and mass media was the next. The results of this study, in my opinion, would help the customers have beautiful and healthy hair and make images of their own by making the hair designers develope professional knowledges and skills on the hair coloring and improve the quality of beauty services.

3 관식 프로젝션 HDTV의 기준 백색 설정 (The Most Suitable Reference White Setting for Three-tube Projection HDTV)

  • 대형 디스플레이 화면에 대한 소비자의 선호도가 증가함에 따라 3관식 프로젝션 (projection) 텔레비전의 수요가 늘고 있다. 그러나 3관식 HD (high definition) 프로젝션 TV에서는 직시형 CRT (Cathode Ray Tube)를 사용하는 TV보다는 단위 면적당 절대 밝기가 어둡다. 또한 프로젝션 TV에 사용되는 인광체의 색재현 영역 (gamut)이 기존의 NTSC (National Television System Committee) 표준과 다른 것을 사용하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 3관식 프로젝션 HDTV의 RGB 인광체 좌표와 RGB 빔 전류비의 관계를 색온도 변화에 대하여 해석하고, 전류비에 따른 빔 프로파일의 변화에 의한 영상의 열화와 시각 특성인 Helmholtz-Kohlrausch 효과를 고려하여 시청자가 느끼는 밝기를 최대화하기 위한 기준 백색 (reference white)의 범위를 제안하였다.

남성의 속옷 추구혜택에 따른 구매행동 (The Effect of Men's Underwear Benefits Sought on Underwear Purchasing Behavior)

  • This study was intended to present basic materials for the direction of product planning and marketing strategy to increase the market share of men's underwear. For this purpose, it attempted to classify the groups according to the benefit of pursuing men's underwear and analyze the differences in purchase behavior among the segmented groups. The specific purposes of the study were to investigate the purchase behavior of men's underwear, to segment the consumers into groups according to underwear benefits sought, to investigate the differences in purchase behavior among the groups, and to investigate the differences in demographics among the groups. The questionnaire was distributed to men aged the 20s to the 40s living in Seoul. A total of 297 questionnaires were used for the final analysis. As a result, the following findings were obtained. It was found that 84.8% of the respondents showed there was no favorite underwear brand. They showed the favorite color of translucent color, the favorite style of trunk and brief, the favorite post-processing of silver nano, deo processing, and the favorite material of charcoal. In purchasing men's underwear, the respondents showed a preference for simple image, and the discount store as the place of purchase. The results also showed that there were four groups of underwear benefits sought: sex appeal/individuality, comfort, practicality, and fashion/brand groups. In regard to the group differences, there were significant differences in underwear purchase motives, underwear preferences, store selection criteria, and demographics.

시각적 공간자극에 나타난 뇌파반응의 자극 정도와 만족도 변화특성 - 할로겐 조명과 벽의 영향을 중심으로 - (The Change Characteristic of the Stimulation and Satisfaction of the Brain Wave Reaction to the Visual Stimulation in the Space - Focus on the Influence of the Halogen and Wall -)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the change of visual stimulus of users to the space through the experiment of EEG and the satisfaction of users depends on the lighting. To do that, the results measured with EEG experiment focusing on Beta ${\beta}$ were compared to each other to figure out difference in the changes of the activation of human brain on lighting's situation as the lighting off and on in the same space. The difference in the results was verified according to the characteristic of users which classified with 4 types of the spatial sensitivities. The results of this study are as following. Firstly, the spacial sensitivity of user is to communicate well with the different senses with stimulus through interaction among the elements. At this time, the brain plays a major role in build the spacial sensitivity of users as the place to make form. Secondly, there are the differences in the activation of brain depends on lighting situation even in the same space. The stimulus into the brain became generally stronger in images with lighting on than off. Especially, the response in the occipital lobe which connected with the visual center turn out strongly in the image of 'modern natural'. Because the visual stimulus interact well with the bright color, the reflectional texture and the rough texture painted the dark color. Thirdly, the satisfaction of users changed with lighting in the space. But we could know that the satisfaction of users isn't be related to the visual stimulus through the results of this study. Finally, there isn't the difference in the activation degree of brain according to the characteristic which are preference of users into 4 types of the spatial sensitivity through the results came from ANCOVA(analysis of covariance) with SPSS Program 22.
