  • 고분해능 TEM 영상 이론의 결맞음 조사에서의 결맞음에 관한 개념을 소개하였다. 현미경에서 부분 결맞음 파동으로 인한 transfer function과 envelope의 발생을 설명하고 현미경의 분해능과 관련된 passband와 Scherzer 초점 조건을 소개하였다.

  • 위그너 분포 함수 측정을 통하여 진행하는 laser beam의 상관함수와 진행 특성들을 연구하였다. 위그너 분포 함수는 진행하는 laser beam의 total degree of coherence, beam quality parameter, 그리고 근접장 및 원거리장의 정보들을 보여준다. 위그너 분포 함수를 이용하여 공간상관 함수와 방향상관 함수를 구할 수 있으며, 이를 Schmidt mode decomposition을 이용하여 분석하면 laser beam의 보다 여러가지 특성들을 분석 할 수 있다. 이렇게 분석된 eigenmode들은 진행하는 laser beam의 보다 정확한 coherence 특성을 이해하게 해준다.

Rectangular prism pressure coherence by modified Morlet continuous wavelet transform

  • This study investigates the use of time-frequency coherence analysis for detecting and evaluating coherent "structures" of surface pressures and wind turbulence components, simultaneously on the time-frequency plane. The continuous wavelet transform-based coherence is employed in this time-frequency examination since it enables multi-resolution analysis of non-stationary signals. The wavelet coherence quantity is used to identify highly coherent "events" and the "coherent structure" of both wind turbulence components and surface pressures on rectangular prisms, which are measured experimentally. The study also examines, by proposing a "modified" complex Morlet wavelet function, the influence of the time-frequency resolution and wavelet parameters (i.e., central frequency and bandwidth) on the wavelet coherence of the surface pressures. It is found that the time-frequency resolution may significantly affect the accuracy of the time-frequency coherence; the selection of the central frequency in the modified complex Morlet wavelet is the key parameter for the time-frequency resolution analysis. Furthermore, the concepts of time-averaged wavelet coherence and wavelet coherence ridge are used to better investigate the time-frequency coherence, the coherently dominant events and the time-varying coherence distribution. Experimental data derived from physical measurements of turbulent flow and surface pressures on rectangular prisms with slenderness ratios B/D=1:1 and B/D=5:1, are analyzed.

The Effects of Action Observation with Functional Electrical Stimulation on Corticomuscular Coherence

  • Objective: To investigate the action observation effects of functional electrical stimulation (FES) on the communication between motor cortex and muscle through corticomuscular coherence (CMC) analysis. Methods: Electroencephalogram (EEG) and electromyogram (EMG) of 27 healthy, nonathlete subjects were measured during action observation, FES, and action observation with FES, which lasted for 7sper session for 10 times. All trials were repeated for 30 times. Simultaneously measured EEG raw data and rectified EMG signals were used to calculate CMC. Only confidence limit values above 0.0306 were used for analysis. CMC was divided into three frequency domains, andthe grand average coherence and peak coherence were computed. Repeated ANOVA was performed to analyze the coherence value difference for each condition's frequency band. Results: CMC showed significant differences in peak coherence and average coherence between the conditions (p<0.05). Action observation application with FES in all frequency band showed the highest peak and average coherence value. Conclusions: The results of this study are assumed to be the combination of increased eccentric information transfer from the sensorymotor cortex by action observation and an increased in concentric sensory input from the peripheral by the FES, suggesting that these are reflecting the sensorimotor integration process.

동해 천해환경에서 수중 통신 프레임 설계를 위한 상관 대역폭과 상관 시간의 산출 (Coherence Bandwidth and Coherence Time for the Communication Frame in the Underwater of East Sea)

  • 원활한 수중 디지털 통신을 위해 데이터 신호는 물리계층 단위의 프레임으로 전송되고, 채널 추정을 위한 프레임 내의 파일릿 간격은 수중 통신 환경에 맞게 설계되어야 한다. 본 논문은 주파수와 시간에 따른 수중 채널 변화에 관련된 상관 대역폭과 상관 시간에 대하여 기술하고 실제 동해 천해환경에서의 실험을 통해 상관 대역폭과 상관 시간 값들을 산출하였다. 그리고 파일럿 간격의 변화에 따른 실제 수중 통신의 비트 오류율 변화를 구함으로써 산출한 결과가 적절함을 보였다.

EEG와 EMG의 Coherence을 이용한 BCI 연구 (A Research on BCI using Coherence between EEG and EMG)

  • Coherence can be used to evaluate the functional cortical connections between the motor cortex and muscle. This study is to find coherence between EEG (electroencephalogram) and EMG (electromyogram) evoked by movement of a hand. Seven healthy participants were asked to perform thirty repetitive movement of right hand for ten seconds with rest for ten seconds. Specific feature of EEG components has been extracted by ICA (independent component analysis) and coherence between EEG and EMG was analyzed from data measured EEG in five local areas around central part of head and EMG in flexer carpri radialis muscle during grabbing movement. Coherence between EEG and EMG was successfully obtained at 0.025 confidence limit during hand movement and showed significant difference between rest and movement at 13-18Hz.

Sense of Coherence in Salutogenic Paradigm

  • The central concept of the Salutogenic Model is sense of coherence, which is defined as a global orientation that expresses the extent to which one has a feeling of confidence that one's internal and external environments are comprehensible, manageable, and meaningful. Sense of coherence is proposed as a determinant of positive health consequences and successful coping. The purpose of this article is to review Antonovsky's Salutogenic Model, the concept of sense of coherence, and its central components and sources. For conceptual clarity, sense of coherence is compared and contrasted with the concept of hardiness. The empirical research findings are integrated to better understand sense of coherence and to enhance future implications for nursing research and practice.

  • 인간의 담화 해석에 개재하는 결속성과 적합성 원리및 이들이 담화 해석에 관여하는 방식을 소개하고, 이들 두 원리의 상관관계를 논의하였다. 결속성(coherence)은 담화 해석 절차및 그 결과이며, 적합성 원리 (Relevance Principle)는 담화 해석의 지침인 동시에 담화 해석 과정에 대해 설명력을 지니는 화용론적 원리라는 점을 강조하고, 특히 Charolles의 결속성 모델과 Sperber와 Wilson 의 적합성 원리를 담화 해석의 한 모델로 병합시키려는 시도를 했다.
