감성지능 개념화의 문제점 (Problems in Conceptualization of Emotional Intelligence)

  • This study would review how important to define emotional intelligence could be in measuring individual differences in emotional experience. For this purpose, the definitions of emotion, built by psychological theorists, would first reviewed, in connection to the newly developed techniques in the area of emotional engineering. Comparing peripheral theories of emotion and cognitive appraisal theories, the multi-facets of emotional experience would be illustrated and it would discussed what these facets mean to predict emotional health of individuals.

  • Korean fortis consonant is not included in the consonantal inventory, but a result of phonetic implementation at the phonetic level, P. With the framework of Cognitive Phonology, a construction of Post Obstruent Tensification is proposed in such a way that rule-ordering is eliminated. This enables us to overcome methodological problems raised in former analyses of fortis under geminate hypothesis, and give a uniform account for three categories of fortis consonants. By assuming extrasyllabicity of verb-stem-final, consonant neutralization of fortis in the coda position is explained by the invisibility at the P-level. and, therefore. modification of Coda Neutralization rule is called for.

  • 필수적/수의적 논항의 이분법적 구분과 이에 따라 정문/비문을 논하는 것이 언어학과 자연어처리학에서 정설로 인정되어 왔다. 그러나 본 연구에서는 논항의 생략 현상과 왜 이러한 생략이 발생하는지에 대해 인지적인 관점에서 살펴봄으로써 기존의 이분적 개념들이 구문분석에 적합치 않음을 지적하였다. 그리고 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 원형이론(prototype theory)을 도입하여 '필수적 논항도'와 '확률적 격구조'란 개념을 제안하였다. 이러한 개념들이 자연어처리의 구문분석에 효율적으로 적용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • 본 논문은 자질기반 문법의 LR 파싱 테이블 생성과 관련된 두 가지 문제점을 논의한다. 먼저 자질기반 문법에 LR 파싱 방법을 적용할 경우 발생하는 비종결성 및 비결정성의 문제를 살펴본 후, 이 문제를 해결할 수 있는 LR 방법을 제시한다. 또한 파싱 테이블을 생성하기에는 충분한 정보를 가지지 못하는 하위명시 규칙의 문제점을 지적하고, 이러한 규칙들을 LR 파싱 방법으로 처리할 수 있도록 하는 규칙추론 알고리듬을 제안한다.

  • 예를 이용하여 학습하는 방법은 ALEX,LP,LEX 에 이르기까지 각각 특유의 방법을 가지면서 발전해 왔다.특히 Silver 의 LP 시스템은 방정식(Symbolic Equation)을 푸는데 있어, 과거에 풀었던 예로부터 이에 적용된 일련의 연산자들을 이용하는 방법으로 구축되어 있다. 본논문에서는 기존의 학습시스템 LEX,LP를 보다 일반화시킨 새로운 학습시스템 LRD를 제안한다. LRD에서는 연구된 예에서의 연산자 활용을 이와 유사한 모든 문제에까지 적용시킬 수 있도록 하기위하여 일반화 과정과 세분화 과정을 설정하여 학습하는 방법을 제시한다.초월함수의 치역을 구하는 예를 통하여 LRD의 학습기법을 설명하고,기존의 LEX및 LP시스템 에서 다루어지는 문제들을 통해 LEX및 LP시스템과 LRD 시스템이 비교 되어진다.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate children's acquisition of cardinality in terms of a framework that isolates two cognitive components, analysis of knowledge and control of processing. The subjects were 30 4-and 5- year-olds who were asked to solve three problems that required an understanding of cardinality. The problems were designed to place different demands on these processing components on the tasks than the 4-year-olds and correlastion among scores on the three tasks show that there is no correlation between the tower task assessing control and the two tasks that assessed analysis. The implications of the results are that aspects of symbolic development may be a broadly based process that extends beyond domain-specific boundaries.

  • Borderline intellectual functioning (BIF) is characterized by cognitive impairment and deficits in adaptive functioning. Despite affecting a significant proportion of the population, BIF still remains underdiagnosed and poorly understood. In addition to cognitive impairments across a range of domains, individuals with BIF face a greater risk of academic failure and often require special educational support. They suffer from emotional problems, such as difficulties with emotional awareness, anxiety, depressed mood, and unhappiness. Individuals with BIF are more likely to have an impairment of social and adaptive functioning. Furthermore, individuals with BIF are at higher risk of physical and mental health problems, often receive inadequate treatment, and have a poorer prognosis. This review aims to enhance the understanding of clinicians, educators, and policymakers by providing an overview of the characteristics of BIF and its associated challenges, ultimately contributing to the improvement of support systems for individuals with BIF.

학생의 인지발달 수준과 문제의 상황에 따른 화학 문제해결 행동 비교 (Comparison of Chemistry Problem Solving Behaviors In the Aspects of Cognitive Developmental Level of Student and Context of Problem)

  • The purposes of this study were to analyze chemistry problem solving processes of middle school students and to compare their problem solving behaviors in the aspects of the cognitive developmental level of student, the success in problem solving, and the context of problem. Their failures in solving problems were also analyzed in the aspects of problem solving stage and prior knowledge. Forty-two students individually solved four problems regarding density and solubility using a think-aloud method. Students' responses were analyzed after intercoder agreement for analyzing problem-solving processes had been established to be 0.94. The results were as follows: 1. Most students solved chemistry problems following the stages of understanding, planning, and solving, while few exhibited the behaviors of the reviewing stage. There was also individual difference in the number of the stages repeated and their behaviors at each stage. 2. Most students were successful in understanding problems. However, unsuccessful and/or concrete-operational students had more difficulties in understanding problems than successful and/or formal-operational students, and students tended to have more difficulties in understanding problems in everyday contexts than in scientific contexts. 3. Successful and/or formal-operational students exhibited more behaviors of the planning stage than unsuccessful and/or concrete-operational students. Students showed more behaviors of the planning stage, but failed more at this stage, in everyday contexts than in scientific contexts. 4. Most students did not review their solutions. Successful and/or formal-operational students exhibited these behaviors more than unsuccessful and/or concrete-operational students. Students tended to exhibit the behaviors more in everyday contexts than in scientific contexts. 5. Many students failed to solve problems correctly due to the lack of prior knowledge and the inability to plan appropriately.

  • 인지무선(CR: Cognitive Radio) 기술은 최근의 스펙트럼 부족 문제 때문에 사용하지 않는 스펙트럼 대역을 효과적으로 사용하기 위해서 제안되었다. 인지무선 기술에서 스펙트럼 센싱 기술은 주요 이슈 중의 하나이고, 비면허 사용자는 1차 사용자에게 할당된 빈 스펙트럼 자원을 확인하고 활용할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 협력 스펙트럼 센싱 기술을 지능형 교통시스템(ITS: Intelligent Transport system)에 적용하여 신호 검출의 성능을 분석한다. 그리고 협력 신호 검출을 위해서 OR-rule과 AND-rule을 사용하여 신호 검출의 성능과 신뢰성을 향상시킨다.

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to develop a comprehensive cognitive rehabilitation program that can be easily applied to brain injured patients by family members or nurses in community or hospital settings. Methods: A Systemic literature review design was used. Thirty-three related studies were reviewed. Result: Based on the results of the literature review, the training tasks for attention were designated to enhancing 4 hierarchical areas, i.e., focused, selective, alternating, and divided attention. On the other hand, the memory rehabilitation tasks mainly consisted of mnemonic skills, such as the association method which helps patients memorize given information by linking together common attributes, the visual imagery method, and self-instruction method. The problem solving rehabilitation program included a task of games or plays which stimulated the patients' curiosity and interest. The training tasks for problem solving were to encourage the process of deriving reasonable solutions for a problematic situation resembling real problems that the patients were faced with in their everyday life. Conclusion: It is expected that the cognitive rehabilitation program developed from this study could help patients having difficulty in their every day life, due to a reduced cognitive ability resulting from brain injury, to effectively adapt to every day life.
