건강통제위 개념의 국내 간호연구 분석 (Health Locus of control : A Review of the Nursing Research in Korea)

  • A number of nursing researchers have used the concept of health locus of control over the past decade in Korea. This article reviewed 92 nursing research papers on health locus of control conducted since 1982, and examined type of subjects, design, measurement instruments, the scores of each dimension of the HLOC, and significant variables. Most of the research were correlational in design, used an 18-item 6-point score instrument and studied the relationship between HLOC, health re-lated variables, and cognitive-emotional variables, The health related variables included health behavior, health management, preventive health behavior, compliance to treatment regimen and self care behavior The cognitive-emotional variables included depression, anxiety, stress and self- esteem. Some consistent findings are beginning to emerge. The concept of internal HLOC was positively correlated with the health related variables. But few studies found any significant correlation between powerful others HLOC and health related variables. In the case of chance HLOC, few studies reported a significant relationship. Many of the articles reported significant relationships between internal HLOC and cognitive-emotional variables, but few reported a significant relationship between powerful others or chance HLOC and cognitive -emotional variables. all experimental studies but one found that only internal HLOC was significantly changed following experimental manipulation. When the different groups of subjects such as normal persons, chronic patients, acute patients were compared in terms of mean scores, it was found that the HLOC appeared to change depending on the status of the patients. Recommendations for future research include modification of the instrument to increase the reliability and validity, study about the pattern of response suggested by Wallston and Wallston(1982) and further experimental study on changing the belief of subjects to internal HLOC.

과학교사에 의해 조성되는 심리적 학습환경이 학생들의 과학 성취도에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of the Psychological Learning Environment by Science Teachers on Students' Science Achievement)

  • 과학 및 과학교과에 대한 학생들의 정의적 인식이 어떻게 하면 긍정적인 방향으로 행동변화를 가져올 수 있는가?에 연구의 목적을 가지고서, 과학수업 과정에서 교사에 의한 학습환경의 분위기나 풍토를 조성하는 심리적 측면이 학생들의 성취도에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 1년간 동일한 교사로부터 과학수업을 받은 중 고등학교 2, 3학년학생들이 가지고 있는 교사인식을 바탕으로 심리적 학습환경을 측정하고, 이 환경인식에 따른 과학불안 인식, 과학에 대한 태도, 과학 탐구능력, 과학성취도와의 관계 및 효과를 조사하였다. 이를 토대로 밝혀진 결과는 심리적 학습 환경은 학생들의 정의적 인식 성향과 인지적 학습결과에 직 간접적인 효과를 주며, 유의한 정적 상관을 보였다. 즉, 교사가 조성하는 수업태도, 인성특성, 학습분위기, 수업행동, 지원적 행동 등은 학생들의 과학에 대한 정의적인 행동특성을 변화시킬 수 있는 수업의 사태로써 유의하게 작용할 수 있으며, 과학 성취에도 의미있게 작용한다는 점을 시사해주고 있다.

그네타기 체험을 통한 인지갈등 전략이 학생들의 단진자에 작용하는 힘 개념에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Cognitive Conflict Strategy Through Swing Experience on the Students' Conception of Force on a Simple Pendulum)

  • 이 연구에서는 진자에 대한 중학생들의 개념을 조사하고 그네를 타는 근운동 체험으로 불일치 자료를 제시하고 인지갈등 정도 및 개념변화를 살펴보았다. 다수의 학생들은 단진자에 작용하는 합력에 대해 진자 운동의 양 끝 주변에서는 운동궤도를 따라 표현하며 중심 부근에서는 힘이 없다고 하였다. 그 이유를 설명할 때 많이 고려하는 힘의 종류는 중력,운동방향으로의 힘, 그리고 장력이었다. 모든 학생들이 관찰 결과가 자신들의 예상과 다르다는 것을 인정하고 활동을 매우 즐거워하였지만 인지갈등 정도는 그다지 높지 않았다. 인지갈등 요소별로 보면 '흥미'가 가장 높았으며, '불안'이 현저하게 낮았다. 직후 사후 검사와 지연 사후 검사에서 대부분의 학생들이 관찰했던 합력의 방향은 잘 기억하게 되었으나 그 이유를 잘 이해하고 옳게 진술한 학생은 소수였다.

한방치료와 인지행동치료를 병행한 공황장애 환자 1례에 대한 임상적 고찰 (A Case of Combination Therapy of Cognitive - Behavioral Therapy and Oriental Medical Treatment On Panic Disorder)

  • 상기 환자는 $4{\sim}5$년 발한 공황장애로 로컬 정신과에서 1년간 po. med 하시다 별무 호전하시고, 입원 3일전 증세 심하여 본원의 한방치료를 받은 환자로, DSM-4에 의거하면 광장공포증을 동반한 공황장애 환자로 한방적으로는 신음양구허(腎陰陽俱虛)에 간울화화(肝鬱化火)를 겸하였다고 하겠다. 지원탕(志遠湯)을 투여하고, 변증에 따라 자침하며, 주관법(走罐法)을 시행하고, 더불어 인지행동치료를 병행하여 PDSS상 21점이 13점으로 감소하는 좋은 결과를 내어 이를 보고하는 바이다. 하지만 관찰 기간이 그리 길지 않았고, 한방치료와 인지행동치료를 함께 시행함으로써 이상의 치료들 중 어떤 치료가 어느 정도의 효과를 내었는지 그 정도를 측정할 수 없으며, 측정절차도 환자의 주관적인 증상의 호소에 의존하여 객관성이 다소 결여되었다. 이를 보완하기 위해 공황장애에 대한 한방치료, 인지행동치료, 그리고 두 가지를 병행한 치료를 각각 시행한 후 효과를 후위분석연구를 통해 검증한다면 한방치료와 인지행동치료가 각각 어느 부분에 어느 정도의 치료효과를 발생시켰는지 검증할 수 있을 것이다. 이를 위한 향후 객관적이고 지속적인 연구가 필요하리라 사료된다.

사이프러스 에센셜 오일의 흡입이 전임상 실험동물의 손상된 학습능력과 기억력에 미치는 영향 (Cypress Essential Oil Improves Scopolamine-induced Learning and Memory Deficit in C57BL/6 mice)

  • Objectives : Increasing evidence supports the biological and pharmacological activities of essential oils on the central nervous system such as pain, anxiety, attention, arousal, relaxation, sedation and learning and memory. The purpose of present work is to investigate the protective effect and molecular mechanism of cypress essential oil (CEO) against scopolamine (SCO)-induced cognitive impairments in C57BL/6 mice. Methods : A series of behavior tests such as Morris water maze, passive avoidance, and fear conditioning tests were conducted to monitor learning and memory functions. Immunoblotting and RT-PCR were also performed in the hippocampal tissue to determine the underlying mechanism of CEO. Results : SCO induced cognitive impairments as assessed by decreased step-through latency in passive avoidance test, relatively low freezing time in fear conditioning test, and increased time spent to find the hidden platform in Morris water maze test. Conversely, CEO inhalation significantly reversed the SCO-induced cognitive impairments in C57BL/6 mice comparable to control levels. To elucidate the molecular mechanisms of memory enhancing effect of CEO we have examined the expression of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) in the hippocampus. CEO effectively elevated the protein as well as mRNA expression of BDNF via activation of cAMP response element binding protein (CREB). Conclusions : Our findings suggest that CEO inhalation effectively restored the SCO-impaired cognitive functions in C56BL/6 mice. This learning and memory enhancing effect of CEO was partly mediated by up-regulation of BDNF via activation of CREB.

비심인성 흉부 불편감을 가진 대상자에서 컴퓨터 기반 인지행동치료의 효과성 : 문헌 검토와 새로운 프로토콜 제안 (Efficacy of Computerized Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in Individuals with Non-Cardiac Chest Discomfort : Review and Suggestions for a New Protocol)

  • Since non-cardiac chest discomfort (NCCD) can result in substantial healthcare burden and lower quality of life, interventions such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) have been investigated for the relief of NCCD. In this review, we aimed to summarize the evidence on the efficacy of the CBT for the treatment of NCCD while introducing a newly-developed computerized CBT program for NCCD. Studies applying CBT to individuals with NCCD were searched for from both English and Korean electronic databases. Among 37 studies, 11 randomized controlled trials, 4 case-control studies, 1 case series, and 2 review articles were eligible for this review. Efficacy of conventional CBT for NCCD was shown in a series of studies as most of them reported improved symptom severity of NCCD or NCCD-related anxiety. However, a substantial variability existed among these studies in participants, treatment procedures and durations. High attrition rates were also reported in these studies on conventional CBT. Computerized CBT could be an alternative to the conventional CBT as it can be standardized and more easily accessible, but it was only reported in one previous study. In addition to the literature review, we presented a newly-developed computerized CBT program for NCCD which may overcome some of the limitations of conventional CBT. A computerized CBT could be an alternative treatment of NCCD, however, need further studies on its usefulness.

Psychological and Pedagogical Principles of the Organization of Distance Learning of Primary School-Aged Children with Cognitive Development Disorder

  • The research involved children and parents of primary school-aged children with cognitive development disorder, as well as scientific and pedagogical workers who organized the psychological and pedagogical principles for organizing distance learning. The purpose of the research lies in establishing how effectively children, parents and their teachers cope with online distance learning during the pandemic, as well as investigating the extent to which such educational technology affects the emotional and behavioural state of the child. The research methodology is based on complexity. In the course of the research, the method of pedagogical experiment was used; observation and questionnaire methods were also introduced; the descriptive method, analysis and synthesis were used to review the theoretical material. The hypothesis lies in the fact that distance online education increases academic difficulties, changes the behavioural and emotional picture of a child with cognitive development disorder; consequently, the behaviour and emotional background will be limited by certain parameters, and this requires the active involvement of parents and teachers in the distance work process. The results of the research have revealed that distance education causes a number of restrictions for children with cognitive development disorder, namely: concentration of attention has decreased, anxiety has increased, and sleep has worsened. Behavioural changes predicted increased restlessness and aggression. Parents and teachers have had methodological, academic and everyday difficulties; all participants in the educational process have been more limited in the conditions of online distance learning. difficulties and improving the behaviour and emotional states of all participants in the educational process.

집합주의 문화가 청년실업에 대한 불안 지각 및 정신건강에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Collectivism on Anxiety Perception and Mental Health in Youth Unemployment)

  • 본 연구의 첫 번째 목적은 집합주의적 성향이 청년들이 지각하는 취업불안에 미치는 영향을 살펴보는데 있었고, 두 번째 목적은 이러한 집합주의적 성향이 취업불안 지각에 미치는 영향에 있어서 구직효능감, 자존감 그리고 상향·하향 사회비교의 매개효과를 검증하는데 있었다. 이를 위하여 연구 1에서는 서울특별시에 소재한 상위권 A 대학과 중위권 B 대학의 대학생을 대상으로 총 179명의 응답자료를 분석에 사용하였다. 연구 결과, 집합주의적 성향을 가진 사람일수록 취업불안이 높고 취업 정신건강 수준이 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 구직효능감과 자존감이 집합주의적 성향과 취업불안 간의 관계를 매개하는 것으로 드러났다. 연구 2에서는 서울특별시에 소재한 C 대학의 대학생을 대상으로 총 118명의 응답자료를 분석에 사용하였다. 연구 결과, 상향 사회비교는 집합주의적 성향과 취업불안 간의 관계를 매개한 것으로 나타났다. 하지만 하향 사회비교에서는 매개효과가 나타나지 않았다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 본 연구의 시사점과 제한점, 그리고 추후 연구과제에 대해 논의하였다.

웃음프로그램이 간호대학생의 임상실습 스트레스에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of Laughter Program on the Stress of Nursing College Students in Clinical Practice)

  • The purpose of the study were to investigate the effect of laughter program on the stress of nursing college students in clinical practice. The research design is one group pretest-posttest survey. Thirty-eight nursing college students took part in the study. Laughter program was carried out for 1hour 6weeks. Laughter program showed significant change on the state anxiety, mood-emotion, laughter index, subjective stress and self esteem. The acquired data were analyzed with SPSS/win 15.0 using descriptive methods paired t-test, Pearson correlation coefficient. The research producted following results: Laughter program can be effective to decrease the clinical practice stress; anxiety, mood-emotion and subjective stress index. Laughter program can be effective to increase laughter index and self esteem of nursing college students. Based on the study, It is necessary to repeat studies and considering to develop proper methods of clinical practice stress of nursing college students. This study recommends that laughter program coupled with cognitive approaches could affect ways of nursing college students coping with stress and contribute to the improvement from increasing their satisfaction.

정신건강의학과 의사를 대상으로 한 긍정성 증진을 위한 단기 성격 강점 워크숍의 효과 (Effects of Brief Character Strength Workshop for Enhancement of Positivity to Psychiatrists)

  • Objective : The purpose of this study was to verify the effect of a single-session, positive psychology-based, strength-enhancing workshop for psychiatrists. The program is composed of lecture about positive psychology and workshop activities for identifying and utilizing character strengths. Methods : A total of 42 psychiatrists participated in this study. The program consisted of a lecture about positive psychology and workshop activities for identifying and utilizing character strengths. Results of a positive resources test, given before and after the session, were used to assess changes in the personal positive resources of the participants as a result of the program. Results : We noted significant increases in participants' satisfaction with life, positive affect, gratitude, acceptance, positive and cognitive emotion regulation, orientation of life, growth, spirit, autonomy, social support, and care factors after completion of the program. On additional analysis, spirit and care scores of female participants's were significantly increased than male participants's. Conclusion : The findings are meaningful in verifying the efficacy of a short-term intervention to improve psychiatrists's positive resources.
