  • ISO 3951 (1989) Sampling Procedures and Charts for Inspection by Variables for Percent Nonconforming is an acceptable quality level (AQL) type sampling scheme. Sample size code letters and inspection levels in this International Standard correspond to those given in the ISO 2859 (1989), a standard for sampling plans by attributes. Two acceptance sampling procedures can be used ; tabular and graphical methods. The graphs could be used in less critical applications while the tabular method would be available for those familiar with MIL-STD-414 tables and to confirm the results of the graphs when needed. The sampling procedures of the ISO 3951 are matched to the ISO 2859 to enable us to move between them. Composite OC and ASN curves are given for AQL 2.5% and code letter F.

  • Liquid is commonly introduced as transversal jets in venturi scrubber which is one of the gas cleaning equipments. The jet dynamics such as penetration and breakup is of fundamental importance to the dust-collection efficiency. We have developed a model that can numerically simulate the breakup of the liquid jet in crossflow. This simulation consists of models on liquid column, jet surface breakup, column fracture and secondary droplet breakup. These models have been embedded in the KIVA3-V code. We have calculated such parameters as the jet penetration, jet trajectory, droplet size, velocity field and the volume flux distribution. The results are compared with the experimental data in this paper.

  • This paper presents the development of a two-dimensional model for investigating the fluid flow in water jet and calculating the velocity and pressure distributions. The mathematical formulation as a standard k-$\epsilon$ model was solved employing a general thermofluid-mechanics computer program, PHOENICS code, which is based on the Semi-Implicit Method Pressure Linked Equations(SIMPLE) algorithm. The developed code was applied to water jet design to determine the nozzle size, and investigated the effect of the change of nozzle location. Calculated results showed that the flow pattern is not changed as the change of nozzle location.

  • Code optimization phase in a compiler are very important because the phase reduces the running time and the storage size of machine codes. I developed flow analyzers and optimizers on intermediate codes. The flow analyzers generate control-flow and data-flow information. The optimizers transform the intermediate codes into the improved codes using this information. This paper describes the development of flow analyzers and optimizers. I also examined the execution performance, the cost and the dependency of each optimization.

  • In this paper, we propose CELM(Cascade ELM) to improve stability. We could realize as cascade connected each other key value with N degree equation which has a initial value. And we could know to be improved in stability with the nature of Chaos in simulation result. In efficiency, this CELM algorithm identified sire of encrypted code with size of source code and we could know more efficient than existing RSA and ECC. In speed, CELM took average 0.18㎳ degree to encrypt a file. Although it was slower than DES, it was faster than ECC of RSA.

  • Parallel performance of a Myrinet based PC-cluster was tested and compared with a conventional Fast-Ethernet system. A preconditioned Navier-Stokes code was parallelized with domain decomposition technique, and used for the parallel performance test. Speed-up ratio was examined as a major performance parameter depending on the number of processor and the network topology. As was expected, Myrinet system shows a superior parallel performance to the Fast-Ethernet system even with a single network adpater for a dual processor SMP machine. A test for the dependency on problem size also shows that network communication speed is a crucial factor for parallelized computational fluid dynamics analysis and the Myrinet system is a plausible candidate for high performance parallel computing system.

  • Place that have cutout inner bottom and girder and floor etc. in hull construction absence is used much, and this is strength in case must be situated, but establish in region that high stress interacts sometimes fatally in region that there is no big problem usually by purpose of weight reduction, a person and change of freight piping etc.. Because cutout's existence gnaws in this place, and, elastic buckling strength by load causes large effect in ultimate strength. Therefore, perforated plate elastic buckling strength and ultimate strength is one of important design criteria which must examine when decide structural elements size at early structure design step of ship. Therefore, and, reasonable elastic buckling strength about perforated plate need design ultimate strength. Calculated ultimate strength change several aspect ratioes and cutout's dimension. and thickness in this investigation. Used program applied ANSYS F.E.M code transformation finite element law that is mediocrity finite element analysis code.

  • The paper provides an overview of those requirements. A detailed description is given of the construction of the new channel code, called 24/25 code, that compiles with the given constraints and involves only a minor drawback in terms of the overhead needs. The servo position information is recorded as low frequency componets, pilot tracking tones, which are embedded in the recorded stream of binary digits. Pilot tracking Tones are used to derive head position reference information in camcorders and DVCRs. A simple pilot tone encoder has been designed by using a new approach, "2 path precoder". Owing to this method, the hardware size can be significantly reduced. the correctness of the method has been verified by theoretical analysis and by extensive simulation.imulation.

  • An algorithmic gray code analog-to-digital converter (ADC), which is based on gray coding, is proposed in this article. The realization method makes use of a MOS triangular function circuit to provide a high-speed operation and low accumulated error. The proposed ADC is simple, small in size and suitable for fabrication using a standard CMOS process. Simulation results showing the performances of the proposed circuit are also included.

  • Shaft encoder which encodes the rotational angle of a shaft becomes more important recently due to factory automation and office automation. Although an absolute type encoder is more dsirable due to its convenience an incremental encoder is commonly used because of its cost and technical difficulties Fabricating a high resolution absolute encoder is very diff-cult because the physical size is limited by currently available technology. In order to overcome this difficulty Moire fringe can be used incorporated with gray code. In order to measure the position of fringes which move as the code disk rotates a neural network was developed in this paper. Formerly fringe position is usually measured by a sophisticated software which needs a little long calculation time. However using nerual network method can eliminate such calculation time even though it needs learning job The pro-posed method is verified through several experiments.
