Co-rotational 비선형 정식화 및 FETI-local 기법을 결합한 비선형 대용량/다물체 구조 해석 알고리듬 개발 (Computational Algorithm for Nonlinear Large-scale/Multibody Structural Analysis Based on Co-rotational Formulation with FETI-local Method)

  • 본 논문에서는 비선형 다물체 동역학 해석에 적용 가능한 구조해석을 개발하였다. 비선형 구조 해석을 위해 Co-rotational 이론 기반의 유한요소를 개발하였다. 그리고 국부 Lagrange 승수를 활용한 영역분할해석 기법을 적용하여 대용량/다물체 해석이 가능한 구조해석 알고리듬을 개발하였다. 기 개발한 구조 해석은 외팔보 및 다물체 구조에 대한 비선형 정적 해석 예제에 적용하였다. 병렬 계산에 따른 성능 평가는 희박행렬 계산 라이브러리인 PARDISO와 비교하였다. 이를 통해 기 개발 구조해석의 계산 속도 향상을 확인하였다.

Study on the Contra-Rotating Propeller system design and full-scale performance prediction method

  • A ship's screw-propeller produces thrust by rotation and, at the same time, generates rotational flow behind the propeller. This rotational flow has no contribution to the generation of thrust, but instead produces energy loss. By recovering part of the lost energy in the rotational flow, therefore, it is possible to improve the propulsion efficiency. The contra-rotating propeller (CRP) system is the representing example of such devices. Unfortunately, however, neither a design method nor a full-scale performance prediction procedure for the CRP system has been well established yet. The authors have long performed studies on the CRP system, and some of the results from the authors' studies shall be presented and discussed.

  • The paper presents the method and apparatus for conformal photoresist spray coating on the 3D structured substrate. The system consists of a high-temperature-rotational chuck, ultrasonic spray nozzle module, angle control module and nozzle moving module. The coating uniformity is acquired by controlling the moving speed of the ultrasonic spray nozzle across the substrate which is rotated constantly. To coat the photoresist conformally the spray angle of the nozzle and the temperature of the substrate are controlled during spray coating. The rotational chuck can be heated up by hot air or $N_2$. The photoresist (AZ1512) has been coated on the 3D structured wafer by spray coating system and the characteristics have been evaluated.

  • The center of percussion(COP) is the point of an extended massive object attached to a pivot where a perpendicular impact will produce no reactive shock at the pivot. COP is an important concept in the field of vibration and dynamics. In vibration, COP causes reduction of vibration and in dynamics, it brings about maximum speed of an object. Many studies about COP are still in progress. However most of the researches have typically focused on the method of mathematical and numerical anlalysis. In this paper, impact analysis was proved by the mechanical energy method using EDISON co-rotational plane beam transient analysis program. The result expressed in acceleration was the relative magnitude of the impulse, which was the indicator of COP. Then, these results were compared with the reference thesis results for exact consequences. Additionally, parametric study of COP was conducted.

Vibrational Structure and Predissociation of Ar-CO2 by CO2 Symmetric Stretching Mode Coupled with Ar Motion

  • The computationally simple quantum mechanical method (VSCF-DWB-IOS) has been applied to studying the Ar-$CO_2$ vibrational predissociation phenomenon. The new methodology utilizes the vibrational self-consistent field method to determine the vibrational structure of the van der Waals complex, the distorted-wave Born approximation for dissociating process, and the infinite-order sudden approximation for the continuum dissociating product of $CO_2$. The dissociation due to the coupling of the symmetric stretching vibrational motion of $CO_2$ with the motion of the Ar van der Waals mode has been extensively investigated. The lifetimes of transient excited vibrational states, linewidths of absorption peak, and the rotational state distributions of the product, $CO_2$ have been computed. It has been found that the lifetime of the Ar-$CO_2$ in excited vibrational state is very long compared with that of triatomic van der Waals complexes and the product $CO_2$ carries a major portion of dissociation energy as a rotational energy.

  • 본 논문에서는 단일 보의 최적 설계를 활용하여 드론 플랫폼을 구축하였다. 단일 보를 끝 단 질량을 가진 외팔보로 가정하였다. 수치 최적화 이론에 기초하여, ANSYS가 얻은 유사한 결과와 비교함으로써 새로운 설계의 검증 및 최적화를 수행 하였다. 마지막으로, 이 설계는 제어 시뮬레이션에 반영되며 공진 상황을 고려한 최적의 구조 설계 요구 사항을 만족함을 보였다.

  • The large deflection of plate is analyzed by co-rotational formulations using small local displacements and rotating unit vectors on the nodal points. The rotational degrees of the freedom are represent ed by the unit vectors1 In the nodal points, and the equilibrium equations are formulated by using small deflection theories of the plates by assuming that the directions of the unit vectors of the nodal points are known apriori. The translational degrees of freedom are independently solved from the rotational degrees of freedom in the equilibrium equations, and the correct directions of the unit vectors are computed by the iterative scheme by imposing the moment equilibrium constraint. The equilibrium equations and the associated solution procedure are explained, and the verification problems are solved.

$Co_{89}Nb{8.5}Zr{2.5}$ 비정질 박막의 이방성에 미치는 열처리 효과 (Effect of Annealing on the Magnetic Anisotropy of Amorphous $Co_{89}Nb{8.5}Zr{2.5}$Thin Films)

  • The amorphous Co-based magnetic films have a large saturation flux density, a low coercive force, and a zero magnetostriction constant. Therefore, they have been studied for application to magnetic recoding heads and micro magnetic devices. However, it was found that the magnetic anisotropy was changed for each film fabrication processes. In this study, we investigated how to control the anisotropy of sputtered amorphous $Co_{89}Nb{8.5}Zr{2.5}$ films. After deposition, the rotational field annealing ant the uniaxial field annealing were performed under the magnetic field of 1.5 kOe. the annealing was done at the temperature range from 400 to $600^{\circ}C$ for one hour. As-deposited amorphous $Co_{89}Nb{8.5}Zr{2.5}$ thin film had saturation magnetization ($4\piM_5$) of 0.8 T, coercive force($_IH_C$) of 1.5 Oe, and anisotropy field($H_k$) of 11 Oe. The amorphous $Co_{89}Nb{8.5}Zr{2.5}$ thin films annealed by rotational field annealing at $500^{\circ}C$ for one hour was found to be isotropy, and $4\piM_5$ of 0.9 T was obtained from these films, Also, the magnetic anisotropy of as-deposited films could be controlled by uniaxial field annealing at $400^{\circ}C$ for one hour. Anisotropy field($H_k$) of 17 Oe and $4\piM_5$ of 1.0 T were obtained by this method.

회전성형 제품의 품질 개선을 위한 연구 (A Study on Quality Assurance for Rotational Molding Products)

  • Rotational molding is a plastics processing technique that is ideally suited to producing relatively large, hollow, seamless parts which are partially or totally enclosed. Designers of plastic parts turn to rotational molding to produce small or large parts of unusual shape that cannot be produced as one piece by other processes, e.g., blow molding and thermoforming. In this paper, in order to enhance the quality of rotational molding plastic products, 1) surface features for the plastic products are characterized by using an image analysis system, 2) maximum tensile strength for the plastic products that are made of materials that consist of Samsung-Atofina R90lU, pigments and two different kinds of calcium carbonate (OMYA CaCO$_3$) is measured and compared with each other by using an Instron universal testing machine, 3) thickness for the plastic products is non-destructively measured to investigate the quality of the plastic products by using an A-scan ultrasonic tester.

동시회전의 화이버 단면 보 요소를 이용한 평면 구조물의 재료 및 기하 비선형 해석 (Material and Geometric Nonlinear Analysis of Plane Structure Using Co-rotational Fiber-section Beam Elements)

  • 본 논문에서는 합성단면을 갖는 구조물의 극한 거동 해석에서 요구하는 재료 및 기하학적 비선형 해석을 수행하기 위한 보 요소를 제시하였다. 제안된 요소는 기하학적 비선형성을 효과적으로 모사할 수 있는 co-rotational 정식화를 통해 도출되었으며, 다양한 합성단면의 저항성능을 재현할 수 있도록 화이버 단면법이 요소의 내력 및 강성을 산정하는데 활용되었다. 제안된 방법을 구현할 수 있도록 해석 프로그램이 개발되었으며, 호장법을 적용하여 최대내력 발생 이후의 연성거동뿐만 아니라 심한 비선형 응답(snap-through 또는 snapback)까지 추적해낼 수 있도록 하였다. 본 연구에서 제안된 요소 정식화와 해석 프로그램의 정확성을 검증을 위해 몇 가지 수치예제가 수행되었고, 해석결과는 제안된 요소의 정확성과 효율성을 보이기 위해 3차원 연속체 모델 및 기존 연구의 결과와 비교되었다. 추가로 합성단면을 갖는 골조 구조물에 대한 수치예제를 통해, 합성단면을 구성하는 재료의 탄성계수 비 및 강도 비에 따른 영향을 분석하였다. 해석결과는 외층 재료의 탄성계수가 증가됨에 따라 준취성 거동이 나타났으며, 외층 재료의 항복강도가 높을수록 선형 거동하는 기하적 비선형 응답과 유사한 응답을 보였다.
