Bathophenanthroline를 interlayer로 적용한 $C_{60}$ 기반의 n형 유기박막트랜지스터의 성능 (Performances of $C_{60}$ based n-type Organic Thin Film Transistor with A Doped Interlayer Using Bathophenanthroline)

  • 본 논문에서는 BPhen(Bathophenanthroline)과 BPhen에 Cs가 도핑 된 interlayer를 $C_{60}$활성층과 Al전극사이에 주입해 $C_{60}$을 기반으로 한 유기박막트랜지스터 (OTFTs)를 제작하여 전기적 특성을 향상시켰다. BPhen층을 증착하면 유기물과 금속층계면의 표면 거칠기가 낮아져 결과적으로 성능이 향상되는 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한 BPhen에 Cs가 도핑 된 interlayer를 co-evaporation을 이용하여 주입하였을 경우는 Contact resistance가 감소하였다. 이러한 $C_{60}$을 기반으로 한 BPhen에 Cs가 도핑 된 interlayer를 삽입한 유기박막트랜지스터는 향후 n형 유기박막트랜지스터를 제작하는데 있어서 적용이 될 것이라고 기대된다.

  • The Cation Exchange Isotherm of $Na^+$ Montmorillonit with Cysteammonium ion is determined. It is shown that Cysteammonium ion is bonded relatively good on the silicate interlayer of Montmorilloint. And it is also shown that the bonded $HSCH_2CH_2NH_3^+$ ion on the Silicate interlayer reacts with the transition metal ion $Co^+$ in is SH group.

  • Gate length, height, and silicide thickness have all been shrinking linearly as device density has progressively increased over the years. We investigated the effect of the cobalt diffusion during the silicide formation process on the 60$\AA$-thick gate oxide lying underneath the Ti/Co and Co/Ti bilayers. We prepared four different cobalt silicides, which have similar sheet resistance, made from the film structure of Co/Ti(interlayer), and Ti(capping layer)/Co, and peformed the current-voltage, time-to-break down, and capacitance-voltage measurements. Our result revealed that the cobalt silicide process without the Ti capping layer allowed cobalt atoms to diffuse into the upper interface of gate oxides. We propose that 100$\AA$-thick titanium interlayer may lessen the diffusion of cobalt to gate oxides in 1500-$\AA$ height polysilicon gates.

Ag 중간층 두께에 따른 TiO2/Ag/TiO2 박막의 광학적 특성 변화 (Influence of Ag Thickness on the Properties of TiO2/Ag/TiO2 Trilayer Films)

  • $TiO_2/Ag/TiO_2$ trilayer films were deposited with radio frequency (RF) and direct current (DC) magnetron sputtering onto the glass substrate to consider the influence of Ag interlayer on the optical properties of the films. The thickness of $TiO_2$ films was kept at 24 nm, while the thickness of Ag interlayer was varied as 5, 10, 15, and 20 nm. As-deposited $TiO_2$ single layer films show the optical transmittance of 66.7% in the visible wave-length region and the optical reflectance of 16.5%, while the $TiO_2$ films with a 15 nm thick Ag interlayer show the enhanced optical transmittance of 80.2% and optical reflectance of 77.8%. The carrier concentration was also influenced by Ag interlayer. The highest carrier concentration of $1.01{\times}10^{23}cm^{-3}$ was observed for a 15 nm thick Ag interlayer in $TiO_2/Ag/TiO_2$ films. The observed result means that an optimized Ag interlayer in $TiO_2/Ag/TiO_2$ films enhanced the structural and optical properties of the films.

Magadiite 주형을 이용한 다공성 흑연제조에 미치는 Co와 Ni 촉매 효과 (Effect of Co and Ni Catalyst on the Preparation of Porous Graphite Using Magadiite Template)

  • Porous graphites were synthesized by removing the template in HF after cabothermal conversion for 3 h at $900^{\circ}C$, accompanied by intercalations of pyrolyzed fuel oil (PFO) in the interlayer of Co or Ni loaded magadiite. The X-ray powder diffraction pattern of the porous graphites exhibited 00l reflections corresponding to a basal spacing of 0.7 nm. The particle morphology of the porous graphites was composed of carbon plates intergrown to form spherical nodules resembling rosettes like a magadiite template. TEM shows that the cross section of the porous graphites is composed of layers with very regular spaces. In particular, crystallization of the porous graphite was dependent on the content of Co or Ni loaded in the interlayer. The porous graphite had a surface area of $328-477m^2/g$. This indicates that metals such as Co and Ni act as catalysts that accelerate graphite formation.

BONDING PHENOMENON IN TRANSIENT LIQUID PHASE BONDING OF NI BASE SUPERALLOY GTD-111

  • Metallurgical studies on the bonded interlayer of directionally solidified Ni-base superalloy GTD111 joints were carried out during transient liquid phase bonding. The formation mechanism of solid during solidification process was also investigated. Microstructures at the bonded interlayer of joints were characterized with bonding temperature. In the bonding process held at 1403K, liquid insert metal was eliminated by well known mechanism of isothermal solidification process and formation of the solid from the liquid at the bonded interlayer were achieved by epitaxial growth. In addition, grain boundary formed at bonded interlayer is consistent with those of base metal. However, in the bonding process held at 1453K, extensive formation of the liquid phase was found to have taken place along dendrite boundaries and grain boundaries adjacent to bonded interlayer. Liquid phases were also observed at grain boundaries far from the bonding interface. This phenomenon results in liquation of grain boundaries. With prolonged holding, liquid phases decreased gradually and changed to isolated granules, but did not disappeared after holding for 7.2ks at 1473K. This isothermal solidification occurs by diffusion of Ti to be result in liquation. In addition, grain boundaries formed at bonded interlayer were corresponded with those of base metal. In the GTD-ll1 alloy, bonding mechanism differs with bonding temperature.

Electrochemical Performance of LSCF Cathode with GDC lnterlayer on ScSZ Electrolyte

  • A symmetrical LSCF $(La_{0.6}Sr_{0.4}Co_{0.2}Fe_{0.8}O_{3-\delta})\;ScSZ(89ZrO_2-10Sc_2O_3-1CeO_2)/LSCF$ electrochemical cell with a GDC (Gadolinium-Doped Ceria, $90CeO_2-10Gd_2O_3$) interlayer that was inserted between the LSCF cathode and ScSZ electrolyte was fabricated, and the electrochemical performance of these cells was evaluated. The GDC interlayer was deposited on a ScSZ electrolyte using a screen-printing technique. The GDC interlayer prevented the unfavorable solid-state reactions at the LSCF/ScSZ interfaces. The LSCF cathode on the GDC interlayer had excellent electrocatalytic performance even at $650^{\circ}C$. The Area Specific Resistance (ASR) was strongly dependent on the thickness and heat-treatment temperature of the GDC interlayer. The impedance spectra showed that the cell with a $15\~27{\mu}m$ thick GDC interlayer heat-treated at $1200^{\circ}C$ had the lowest ASR.

Interlayer and Interfacial Exchange Coupling of IrMn Based MTJ

  • As deposited and annealed MTJs with the structure of $Ta(5 nm)/Cu(10 nm)/Ta(5 nm)/Ni_{80}Fe_{20}(2 nm)/Cu(5 nm)/ Ir_{25}Mn_{75}(10 nm)/Co_{70}Fe_{30}(2.5 nm)/Al-O/Co_{70}Fe_{30}(2.5nm)/Ni_{80}Fe_{20}(t)/Ta(5nm)/Ni_{80}Fe_{20}(t)/Ta(5 nm)$, where t=10, 30, 60 and 100 nm were characterized by XRD and magnetic hysteresis loops measurements. The XRD measurements were done in grazing incidence $(GID scan-2{\theta})$ and ${\theta}-2{\theta}$ geometry, by rocking curve $(scan-{\omega})$ and pole figures in order to establish correlation between texture and crystallites size and magnetic parameters of exchange biased and interlayer coupling. The variations of shifting and coercivity field of free and pinned layers after annealing in $300^{\circ}C$ correlate with the improvement of [111] texture and grains size of $Ni_{80}Fe_{20}$ and $Ir_{25}Mn_{75}$ respectively. The exchange biased and the coercivity fields of the pinned layer linearly increased with increasing grain size of $Ir_{25}Mn_{75}$, The reciprocal proportionality between interlayer coupling and coercivity fields of the free layer and grain size of $Ni_{80}Fe_{20}$ was found. The enhancement of interlayer coupling between pinned and free layers, after annealing treatment, indicates on the correlated in-phase roughness of dipolar interacting interfaces due to increase of crystallites size of $Ni_{80}Fe_{20}$.
