This paper seeks to find out the policies of management and layout of middle school rooms for the community people's use. This paper surveys community's needs with respect to both the use of school rooms before, during, and after classes and preferences of use of school rooms. This paper adopts two experimental case studies to find out the models. It uses t-test analysis of the statistics to find out community people's preferences for the use of school rooms between two communities in an urban area, and uses simple and multiple regression analyses to develop models concerning community people's uses of school rooms before, during, and after classes. It also uses cluster analysis to find out the cluster among community people's preference of school rooms. It found, first, that community people's use of school rooms after class can be influenced by the uses of a play ground, a music classroom, an audio visual classroom, and a gymnasium. The use during regular classes is related to the uses of the fine arts classroom, a general classroom, a home economics classroom, a gymnasium, and a playground. The use before class is affected by the uses of a fine arts classroom, a playground, and a library. It also found that, with respect to community people's preferential use of school rooms, the rooms can be clustered as a cluster of laboratories such as a general classroom, a music room, a fine arts classroom, a science classroom, a home economics classroom, and a technique classroom, a cluster of athletic areas such as a gymnasium and a playground, and a cluster of supporting facilities such as a library, an audio visual classroom, and a computer classroom. Those clusters can also be clustered in more detail, i. e., that both a general classroom and playground can be apart from a cluster of laboratories or a cluster of supporting facilities; that an audio visual classroom can be fostered into a cluster with a home economics affairs classroom and a technique classroom. Finally this paper suggests policies of management and layout of school rooms.
This paper suggests a new policy for consolidating a company's profits by segregating the clients using the contents service and allocating the media server's resources distinctively by clusters using the cluster analysis method of CRM, which is mainly applied to marketing. In this case, CRM refers to the strategy of consolidating a company's profits by efficiently managing the clients, providing them with a more effective, personalized service, and managing the resources more effectively. For the realization of a new service policy, this paper analyzes the level of contribution $vis-\acute{a}-vis$ the clients' service pattern (total number of visits to the homepage, service type, service usage period, total payment, average service period, service charge per homepage visit) and profits through the cluster analysis of clients' data applying the K-Means Method. Clients were grouped into 4 clusters according to the contribution level in terms of profits. Likewise, the CRFA (Client Request Filtering algorithm) was suggested per cluster to allocate media server resources. CRFA issues approval within the resource limit of the cluster where the client belongs. In addition, to evaluate the efficiency of CRFA within the Client/Server environment the acceptance rate per class was determined, and an evaluation experiment on network traffic was conducted before and after applying CRFA. The results of the experiments showed that the application of CRFA led to the decrease in network expenses and growth of the acceptance rate of clients belonging to the cluster as well as the significant increase in the profits of the company.
In recent years cluster systems using off-the-shelf processors and networks components have been increasing popular. Since actual performance of a cluster system varies significantly for different architectures, representative in-house codes from major application fields were executed to evaluate the actual performance of systems with different combination of CPU, network, and network topology. As an example of practical CFD(Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulations, the flow past an Onera-M6 wing and the flow past an infinite wing were simulated on clusters of Linux and several other hardware environments.
The purpose of this paper is to show how the coda of a syllable and word-final clusters are represented in the English syllable structure. Previous theories on the syllable assume that there is only one segment in the coda position. And, as we know, the theories that license only one segment in the coda make it difficult to syllabicate the word-final cluster appropriately when more than two segments in the word-final cluster are encountered. I considered three approaches: the previous syllable structure (Selkirk, 1982; Borowsky 1989), sonority sequencing (Giegerich, 1992; Roca, 1999) and feature analysis (Goldsmith, 1990), But, all the considered methods don't give us a satisfactory explanation regarding word-final clusters. Finally, I will suggest a modified syllable representation as an alternative by placing two different appendixes under the Phonological Word which forms a constituent above the syllable node. From this it is possible to explain the former problematic word-final clusters including morphological information asan inflectional suffix in the structure.
For statistical microarray data analysis, clustering analysis is a useful exploratory technique and offers the promise of simultaneously studying the variation of many genes. However, most of the proposed clustering methods are not rigorously solved for a time-course microarray data cluster and for a fitting time covariate; therefore, a statistical method is needed to form a cluster and represent a linear trend of each cluster for each gene. In this research, we developed a modified hierarchical mixture of an experts model to suggest clustering data and characterize each cluster using a linear mixed effect model. The feasibility of the proposed method is illustrated by an application to the human fibroblast data suggested by Iyer et al. (1999).

The throughput characteristics of the cluster tool with dual blade robot are analyzed. Using equipment's cycle time chart of the equipment, simple analytic form of the throughput is derived. Then, several important throughput characteristics are analyzed by the throughput formula. First, utilization of the process chamber and the robot are maximized by assigning the equipment to the process whose processing time is near the critical process time. Second, rule for selecting optimal number of process chambers is suggested. It is desirable to select a single process chamber plus a single robot structure for relatively short time process and multi process chambers plus a single robot, namely cluster tool for relatively long time process. Third, throughput variation between equipments due to the wafer transfer time variation is analyzed, especially for the process whose processing time is less than critical process time. And the throughput and the wafer transfer time of the equipments in our fabrication line are measured and compared to the analysis.
The K-means algorithm is widely used at the initial stage of data analysis in data mining process, partly because of its low time complexity and the simplicity of practical implementation. Cluster validity indices are used along with the algorithm in order to determine the number of clusters as well as the clustering results of datasets. In this paper, we present a performance comparison of sixteen indices, which are selected from forty indices in literature, while considering their applicability to nonhierarchical clustering algorithms. Data sets used in the experiment are generated based on multivariate normal distribution. In particular, four error types including standardization, outlier generation, error perturbation, and noise dimension addition are considered in the comparison. Through the experiment the effects of varying number of points, attributes, and clusters on the performance are analyzed. The result of the simulation experiment shows that Calinski and Harabasz index performs the best through the all datasets and that Davis and Bouldin index becomes a strong competitor as the number of points increases in dataset.
The galaxy cluster Abell 115 shows ongoing merger features, which suggest that it might be in an intermediate phase of dynamical evolution. As merging clusters often show, the characteristic hints of A115's merging activities include radio relics, double X-ray peaks, and large offsets between the cluster member galaxies and the X-ray distributions. To constrain the exact stage of the merger, it is necessary to obtain its dark matter distribution. In this study, we carry out a precision weak lensing study of this interesting system based on Subaru images. We present our mass reconstruction together with descriptions on our core procedure of the analysis: Subaru data reduction, galaxy shape measurement, and source selection. We find that Abell 115 consists of two massive dark matter clumps, which closely follow the cluster galaxies. Our weak lensing mass estimate is a few factors lower than the published dynamical mass obtained from velocity dispersion. This large mass discrepancy may be attributed to a significant departure from dynamical equilibrium.
ZwCL 1447.2+2619 is a merging galaxy cluster at z=0.37 with clear substructures in X-ray emission and galaxy distribution. In addition, the system possesses distinct radio relics. In order to constrain the merger scenario, it is necessary to measure both the distribution and mass of the cluster dark matter. We perform weak lensing analysis of ZwCL 1447.2+2619 using Subaru imaging data. We detect clear lensing signal from the cluster after carefully addressing instrumental systematics. In this poster, we present our preliminary results on our mass reconstruction and discuss the comparison with X-ray and radio results.

Apoemulsan is a biopolymer with potent emulsification activity, produced by Acinetobacter venetian us RAG-1 (RAG-1). The wee gene cluster is responsible for apoemulsan biosynthesis. The analysis of (i) a putative polysaccharide copolymerase mutant (${\Delta}wzc$), (ii) a putative polymerase mutant (${\Delta}wzy$), and (iii) an apoemulsan-deficient variant (${\Delta}2$) indicated that the wee gene cluster controls the synthesis of two polysaccharides: high molecular weight (HMW) and low molecular weight (LMW). LMW polysaccharide of wee origin was present in LPS isolated from RAG-1 cells, suggesting a link to the Lipid A-core of LPS molecules. SDS-PAGE analysis indicated that apoemulsan is copurified with LPS polysaccharide, with implications in the emulsification activity of RAG-1 polymer.
