Internet of Things (IoT) is considered to be the next wave of Information Technology transformation after the Internet has changed the process of doing business. Since the domain of IoT ranging from the sensor technology to service to the users is wide, the structure of the research domain is not delineated clearly. To do that we suggest to use the Technology Stack Model proposed by Porter et al.(2014) to measure the maturity level of IoT in organizations. Based on the Stack Model, for the general understandings of IoT, we do keyword analyses on the academic papers whose major research issue is IoT. It is found that the current status of IoT application from the perspectives of cloud and big data analytics is not active, meaning that the real value of IoT has not been realized. We also examine the cases which deal with the part of cloud process which is crucial for value accrual. Based on these findings, we suggest the future direction of IoT research. We also propose that IT is to value chain what IoT is to the Stack Model to derive value in organizations.
Over the next 20 years it will begin the exodus from the Internet and smart phones to the Internet of Things. The heart of IoT gives new utility and value with connectivity among things around people to the human. In future, Industrial environment will be intimately connect all among machines and machines or factories and factories in all processing, and by digitizing of all goods and production life-cycle, which is a combination of virtual world and real world, the digital factory will become reality eventually. The proposed IoT or IIoT based Download OTA (Over-the-Air) provides a flexible mechanism for downloading Media objects of any type and size from a network. Moreover, proposed IoT based DLOTA provides a part of security by lightweight encryption, OTP, and CapBAC technique.
As the smartphone and mobile environment develop, the time and space constraints for individual work performance are disappearing. Companies can reduce costs and expand their business quickly through cloud computing. As the use of various cloud expands, the boundaries of users, data, and applications are disappearing. Traditional security approaches based on boundaries (Perimeter) are losing their utility in the cloud environment. This paper describes the limitations of existing network access control (NAC) in a cloud environment and suggests network security technology that complements it. The study explains the SDP and combines SDP(Software Defined Perimeter) to overcome the limitations of NAC, while at the same time explaining its role as a new framework for supporting the cloud environment. The new framework proposed in this paper suggests a software-based network security solution that supports physical and software parts, providing identity-based access control, encrypted segment management, and dynamic policy management, not IP-based.

An Internet of Things(IoT) technology which provides intelligent services by combining context-awareness based intelligences, inter-communication is made of between things and things or between things and person through the network connected with intelligent things is spreading rapidly. Especially as this technology is converged into smart device, mobile, cloud, big data technologies, it is applied into various domains. Therefore, this is different from existing Web or Mobile Application. New types of IoT applications are emerging by adapting IoT into Web or mobile. Because IoT application is not only focused on software but also considering hardware or things aspect, there are limitations existing development process. Existing development processes don't consider analysis and design techniques considering both hardware and things. We propose not only a meta-model for development process which can support IoT application's development but also meta-models for main activities in this paper. Especially we define modeling elements by using UML's extension mechanisms, provide development process, and suggest design techniques how to apply those elements into IoT application's modeling phase. Because there are many types of IoT application's type, we propose an Android and Arduino-based on IoT application as a case study. We expect that proposed technique can be applied into many of various IoT application development and design with a form of flexible and extensible as well as main functionalities or elements are more concretely described. As a result, it brings IoT application's flexibility and the effect of quality improvement.

The Internet of Things (IoT) paradigm is at the forefront of present and future research activities. The huge amount of sensing data from IoT devices needing to be processed is increasing dramatically in volume, variety, and velocity. In response, cloud computing was involved in handling the challenges of collecting, storing, and processing jobs. The fog computing technology is a model that is used to support cloud computing by implementing pre-processing jobs close to the end-user for realizing low latency, less power consumption in the cloud side, and high scalability. However, it may be that some resources in fog computing networks are not suitable for some kind of jobs, or the number of requests increases outside capacity. So, it is more efficient to decrease sending jobs to the cloud. Hence some other fog resources are idle, and it is better to be federated rather than forwarding them to the cloud server. Obviously, this issue affects the performance of the fog environment when dealing with big data applications or applications that are sensitive to time processing. This research aims to build a fog topology job scheduling (FTJS) to schedule the incoming jobs which are generated from the IoT devices and discover all available fog nodes with their capabilities. Also, the fog topology job placement algorithm is introduced to deploy jobs into appropriate resources in the network effectively. Finally, by comparing our result with the state-of-art first come first serve (FCFS) scheduling technique, the overall execution time is reduced significantly by approximately 20%, the energy consumption in the cloud side is reduced by 18%.

As the use of Internet of Things (IoT) devices has expanded, digital forensics coverage of the National Police Agency has expanded to smart home areas. Accordingly, most of the existing studies conducted to acquire smart home platform data were mainly conducted to analyze local data of mobile devices and analyze network perspectives. However, meaningful data for evidence analysis is mainly stored on cloud storage on smart home platforms. Therefore, in this paper, we study how to acquire stored in the cloud in a Hey Home Air environment by extracting accessToken of user accounts through a cookie database of browsers such as Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Mozilia Firefox, and Opera, which are recorded on a PC when users use the Hey Home app-based "Hey Home Square" service. In this paper, the it was configured with smart temperature and humidity sensors, smart door sensors, and smart motion sensors, and artifacts such as temperature and humidity data by date and place, device list used, and motion detection records were collected. Information such as temperature and humidity at the time of the incident can be seen from the results of the artifact analysis and can be used in the forensic investigation process. In addition, the cloud data acquisition method using OpenAPI proposed in this paper excludes the possibility of modulation during the data collection process and uses the API method, so it follows the principle of integrity and reproducibility, which are the principles of digital forensics.

Internet of things (IoT) has emerged as the most popular technique that facilitates enhancing humans' quality of life. However, most time sensitive IoT applications require quick response time. So, processing these IoT applications in cloud servers may not be effective. Therefore, fog computing has emerged as a promising solution that addresses the problem of managing large data bandwidth requirements of devices and quick response time. This technology has resulted in processing a large amount of data near the data source compared to the cloud. However, efficient management of computing resources involving balancing workload, allocating resources, provisioning resources, and scheduling tasks is one primary consideration for effective computing-based solutions, specifically for time-sensitive applications. This paper provides a comprehensive review of the source management strategies considering resource limitations, heterogeneity, unpredicted traffic in the fog computing environment. It presents recent developments in the resource management field of the fog computing environment. It also presents significant management issues such as resource allocation, resource provisioning, resource scheduling, task offloading, etc. Related studies are compared indifferent mentions to provide promising directions of future research by fellow researchers in the field.

With the advancement in the Internet of things Technology (IoT) cloud computing, billions of physical devices have been interconnected for sharing and collecting data in different applications. Despite many advancements, some latency - specific application in the real world is not feasible due to existing constraints of IoT devices and distance between cloud and IoT devices. In order to address issues of latency sensitive applications, fog computing has been developed that involves the availability of computing and storage resources at the edge of the network near the IoT devices. However, fog computing suffers from many limitations such as heterogeneity, storage capabilities, processing capability, memory limitations etc. Therefore, it requires an adequate task scheduling method for utilizing computing resources optimally at the fog layer. This work presents a comprehensive review of different task scheduling methods in fog computing. It analyses different task scheduling methods developed for a fog computing environment in multiple dimensions and compares them to highlight the advantages and disadvantages of methods. Finally, it presents promising research directions for fellow researchers in the fog computing environment.

Today, with the development of the internet of things, wearable devices related to personal health care have become widespread. Various global information and communication technology companies are developing various wearable health devices, which can collect personal health information such as heart rate, steps, and calories, using sensors built into the device. However, since individual health data includes sensitive information, the collection of irrelevant health data can lead to personal privacy issue. Therefore, there is a growing need to develop technology for collecting sensitive health data from wearable health devices, while preserving privacy. In recent years, local differential privacy (LDP), which enables sensitive data collection while preserving privacy, has attracted much attention. In this paper, we develop a technology for collecting vast amount of health data from a smartwatch device, which is one of popular wearable health devices, using local difference privacy. Experiment results with real data show that the proposed method is able to effectively collect sensitive health data from smartwatch users, while preserving privacy.
