This research investigates the effects of fashion innovativeness and technology innovativeness on the attitude and the buying intention of smart clothing. This study employs TAM(Technology Acceptance Model) proposed by Davis(1989) as a theoretical framework. Two hundred sixty-five respondents comprised a sample used to examine a structural model. The structural equation model using AMOS was performed to test hypotheses. Fashion innovativeness was found to affect perceived usefulness while technology innovativeness affected perceived ease of use. Perceived usefulness was found to influence attitude towards smart clothing. Perceived ease of use was also found to affect attitude towards smart clothing. The attitude towards smart clothing has a direct effect on the buying intention of smart clothing. In addition, this study revealed that employing TAM to investigate the adoption of smart clothing was appropriate. Lastly, implications of this research and suggestions for future studies were discussed.
This study examined the shop selection standards and preferred shops depending on the clothing attitudes identified by the psychological characteristics of consumers. To this end, this study selected the Korean Chinese college women in Yanbian. The study was conducted against 300 college students from May to June, 2002. Questionnaire was used for studying the subject of the thesis. Each question was rate4 in 5 point scale, where 1 means 'not at all' and 5 means 'definitely'. The data of this study was statistically analyzed using the SAS PC program. The t-test and $X^{2}$ were conducted to identify the evaluation criteria for clothing store and the preferred shops depending on clothing attitude groups and the factor analysis was carried out to analyze the clothing behavior factors. The results of study are summarized as described below. The clothing attitude of college women was classified into four factors: fashionable, brand-oriented, aesthetic and modest. The subjects were divided into two groups with higher average score and that with lower average score by factor, respectively. As a result of study on the evaluation standards of shop selection and preferred shops depending on the clothing attitude, for the evaluation standards of shop selection, three factors, fashionable, brand-oriented and modest factors, showed the significant difference between two groups. There was a significant difference between two groups in fashionable and brand-oriented factor and the preferred shops.

Subjects of this study were the adult women in Seoul, who were extracted by sampling randomly during the fall of 1995. Questionnaire was used as major method of gathering data. They were analyzed by the SAS method such as Frequency, Anova, Duncan, Correlation, multiple regression, Factor analysis. Main result of this study were as follows : 1. In brand extension attitude evaluation by high-involve group and low-involve group, quality, reputation and buying intension of brand extension attitudes showed significant difference. B brand extension attitudes and items of high-involve group was high compare to low-involve stoup. In this statistical analysis, SPSS 10.0 for Windows Program was used to calculate percentage, mean, and standard deviation. Also, these data were verified by Factor analysis, t-test, One-way Anova, Duncan' multiple range, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and Multiple Regression Analysis. The results of this research were as follows: Adolescents with higher need for achievement showed negative attitudes toward the secret and risk of aesthetic surgery. On the other hand, those with higher need for dominance and exhibition were in favor of the surgery and willing to have it despite its high cost and risk. Individuality of clothing was directly affected by need for achievement and dominance. Adolescents with higher need for achievement and dominance considered individuality as one of the most important factors. And sexual attractiveness of clothing had a positive correlation with both need for dominance and exhibition. Deviation behavior of adolescents is often expressed as clothing behavior being against the social or school rules. To understand the relationship between social variables and clothing behavior of adolescents, the study investigated the effect of social variables on the deviation attitude and behavior related to clothing. Survey was utilized to collect the data and subjects were 411 female high school students. Regression analysis were used to analyze the data. The results were as follows : The closer relationship female high school students had with their parents, the more negative attitude they took toward clothing deviation and the less they committed the deviant behaviors related to clothing. The results explained that the close relationships with adolescents and their parents kept adolescents from committing the deviant behaviors related to clothing. The subjects who were interested in studying and well adapted for their school life, not only took a negative attitude toward clothing deviation but also committed the deviant behaviors related to clothing less than the other subjects did. The level of social deviation of their friends had an effect on the attitude and experience toward clothing deviation more than the relationship with their parents or school life did. The understanding of the relationship between social variables and clothing deviation would help to decrease the clothing deviation of adolescents by controling the social variables.
