한류형 반도체 교류 차단기 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on Development of Current Limiting solid-state AC circuit Breaker)

  • In this paper we describe the solid-state ac-circuit breaker which has the characteristic of both a half cycle circuit breaker and a current limiting circuit breaker. This circuit breaker has a current limiting resistor in order to surprises the fault current to a certain level and discharge the energe included in circuit inductor. We explain the effect of circuit parameter on transient phenomena of switch device by using EMTP and finally design the control circuit consisted synchronous closing circuit, over- current detecting circuit and sensing circuit of rate of rise of fault current.

수지상 배전계통을 단일루프로 구조 변경시 신뢰도 비교 (The Comparison of Reliability for Change Single Loop Configuration in Radial Power Distribution System)

  • The domestic power distribution system is operating in an open loop mode; however, it already has a loop structure. Power distribution systems must be changed for bi-directions power supply for smart networks due to a changing of paradigm in electric power industry. The simplest bi-directions distribution networks can make it closing of normally open switch. However, bi-directions power supply is very difficulty to be operated and there are many parts which it must study. This paper presented various models that are able to change a radial system for loop structures. Further, we compared the reliability index for each model by evaluating the amount of improvement reliability required in radial power distribution system. In addition, we calculated CIC(Customer Interruption Cost) for each model by comparing and analyzing.

단락발전기 용 여자장치의 조작과 기능에 대한 고찰 (The study for function and operation of the excitation equipment for short circuit generator)

  • There are many equipments for the Short Circuit Test, for example Short Circuit Generator, Induction Motor, Sequence Timer, CLR, Back Up Breaker, Making Switch and Excitation Equipment etc. Gradually an allowable tolerance of the short circuit test voltage is become smaller by the standards for short circuit test. The excitation equipment of short circuit generator is very important for test voltage is adjusted by the excitation equipment. Especially the excitation equipment must be possessed character of exactitude, durability and inalterability because some times around 10,000 times opening and closing short circuit test is requested by clint, which must be done within one minute. The purpose of this study for function and operation of the excitation equipment which rated DC voltage is 1,000V, rated DC current is 300A, rated out put is 30kW and type is YNEX 97S-441/609, is to help operation of short circuit generator.

포화현상을 고려한 비율차동계전기의 동특성 해석 (Danamic Characteristics of Percentage Differential Relays Considering Saturation Effect)

  • The effects of transient inrush currents on the dynamic characteristics of percentage differential relays are studied when the power transformers are reenergized. An algorithm of estimation the nonlinear magnetic property of power transformer and current trnasformer core are developed. Using this method, we can analyze the effect of inrush currents on the trip region of the percentage differential relays corresponding to the variation of the phase angle and the residual magnetism at the instant of switch closing. Test results are used to verify the availibility of the proposed algorithm. Finally a case study is performed to the 110 MVA main transformer in hydraulic power station.

대형전동커튼 타임제어 시스템 설계 및 개발 (Design and Development of Large Electric Curtain Control System for Time Controlled)

  • The purpose of this paper is to design a curtain control system for centralized management of large curtains, which includes curtain structure, electric curtain controller, communication system, user interface and remote control. Curtain structure is designed to avoid using limit switch. The system is based on microprocessor, determined the stop position and complete running time of electric curtain through time control, and achieved remote control of curtain opening and closing through wired and wireless communication modes. By establishment of a mathematical model to calculate the inertia compensation time of the electric curtain, the electric curtain can be stopped ahead of time, and the curtain can be completely closed by the inertia. The result of test experiment of 32 electric curtain controllers shows the communication success rate reached 100%.

  • Vacuum interrupters in order to be used in various switch-gear components such as circuit breakers, distribution switches, contactors, etc. spread the arc uniformly over the surface of the contacts. The electrodes of vacuum interrupters are made of sinter-forged Cu-Cr materials for good electrical and mechanical characteristics. Since the closing velocity is 1-2m/s and impact deformation of the electrode depends on the strain rate at that velocity, the dynamic behavior of the sinter-forged Cu-Cr is a key to investigate the impact characteristics of the electrodes. The dynamic response of the material at intermediate strain rate is obtained from the high speed tensile test machine test and at the high strain rate is obtained from the split Hopkinson pressure bar test. Experimental results from both quasi-static and dynamic compressive tests are interpolated to construct the Johnson-Cook model as the constitutive relation that should be applied to simulation of the dynamic behavior of the electrodes. The impact characteristics of a vacuum interrupter are investigated with computer simulations by changing the amount of chromium content.

도플러센서 LED 조명등을 위한 절전형 컨버터 개발 (The Development of Energy-Saving Converter for Doppler Sensor LED Lights)

  • 최근에는 물체의 움직임을 감지하는 기술은 에너지 절약, 충돌방지, 자동문 개폐 등 다양한 분야에 적용되고 있다. 도플러 센서는 기존의 적외선 센서, 초음파 센서들의 문제점을 보완할 수 있는 센서로 온도, 잡음, 먼지 등과 같은 주변 환경에 큰 영향을 받지 않는다. 본 논문에서는 24시간 점등되어 있는 LED조명등을 도플러 센서로 물체가 감지 될 때만 ON, 없을 때는 OFF상태로 전환하고, LED조명등의 조도를 2단으로 제어하는 컨버터를 개발하였다. 개발된 도플러 센서 모듈과 절전형 제어 컨버터를 주차장등에 적용하여 절전 효과를 증명하였다.

The impact characteristics of a vacuum interrupter are investigated with computer simulations by changing the value of five parameters such as the initial velocity of a movable electrode, the added mass of a movable electrode, the wipe spring constant, initial offset of a wipe spring and the virtual fixed spring constant.

  • 본 논문에서는 고장발생 초기에 초전도 전류제한기를 구성하는 초전도 소자의 ��치발생을 검출하여 고장전류의 경로를 별도의 상전도 전류제한기로 우회시킴으로써 초전도 전류제한기의 회복시간을 단축시킬 수 있는 초전도소자의 트리거를 이용한 초전도 전류제한기의 전류제한 및 회복특성에 대해 분석하였다. 고장전류 크기를 조절하기 용이한 구성요소로 상전도 전류제한기의 저항크기에 따른 초전도 전류제한기를 구성하고 있는 전력용스위치의 개방시점과 투입시점의 변화를 비교하였으며, 분석을 통해 상전도 전류 제한기의 저항이 증가할수록 초전도 전류제한기를 구성하는 전력용스위치의 복귀시간이 길게 나타남을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • Vacuum interrupters are used in various switch-gear components such as circuit breakers, distribution switches, contactors. The electrodes of a vacuum interrupter are manufactured of sinter-forged Cu-Cr material for good electrical and mechanical characteristics. Since the closing velocity is 1-2m/s and impact deformation of the electrode depends on the strain-rate at the given velocity, the dynamic material property of the sinter-forged Cu-Cr alloy is important to design the vacuum interrupter reliably and to identify the impact characteristics of a vacuum interrupter accurately. This paper is concerned with the dynamic material properties of sinter-forged Cu-Cr alloy for various strain rates. The amount of chrome is varied from 10 wt% to 30 wt% in order to investigate the influence of the chrome content on the dynamic material property. The high speed tensile test machine is utilized in order to identify the dynamic property of the Cu-Cr alloy at the intermediate strain-rate and the split Hopkinson pressure bar is used at the high strain-rate. Experimental results from both the quasi-static and the high strain-rate up to the 5000/sec are interpolated with respect to the amount of chrome in order to construct the Johnson-Cook and the modified Johnson-Cook model as the constitutive relation that should be applied to numerical simulation of the impact behavior of electrodes.
