  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the cliche for English-Korean interpretation and translation training with special reference to the cliche based on Shakespeare's works texts. The term of 'idioms' are generally used as figurative expressions instead of the term of 'cliche'. Thus, cliches must be reinterpreted in the lexicon that are used in useful expressions. Cliches are often idioms. Idioms are figurative phrases with an implied meaning; the phrase is not to be taken literally. This causes difficulty when translating to another language because the meaning may not be understood by people within that culture. Cliches are figurative or literal expressions and are overused expressions. Consequently, the cliches are distinguished from the idioms by the transparent meanings. This study was examined based on the cliches shown in Shakespeare's works texts. After all, anyone who wants to become an efficient English learners, interpretor and translator should be familiar with cliches. They had better use the cliche in English learning site. I hope this study will be helpful even a bit to his attempt.

  • This study analyzed the genres of popular character web dramas and studied the development of story recommendations through the language model GPT. As a result of the study, it was confirmed that similar cliches are repeated in web dramas. In this study, a common story structure (cliché) was analyzed and a typical story structure was standardized and presented so that even unskilled video producers can easily produce character web dramas. For analysis, clichés of web dramas in the school romance genre, which is the most popular genre among teenagers, were listed in order of success. In addition, this study studied the story recommendation mechanism for users by learning the clichés that were analyzed and cataloged in GPT. Through this study, it is expected to accelerate the production of various contents as well as popular popularity through the acceptance of various databases from the standpoint of database consumption theory of web contents.

  • With the development of many display technologies currently applied to them in the field of printed electronics, there have been many researches that high resolution printing for thin and uniform pattern. In this paper, printing ink flow properties in the reverse offset mechanism were simulated. The aim of this research is to expect the ink flow behavior between cliches to make fine pattern by a printing technique which is a reverse offset. The simulation results show that almost the same as the experiments and the flow behavior according to the ink film thickness and printing pressure changes could be expected.

  • This paper analyzes six different ways of articulating the relationship between art and politics. It calls attention to the differences that lurk behind the seemingly simple phrase-everywhere in vogue today-the "politics of aesthetics." Five of these models are drawn from contemporary discussions regarding the politics of art. The last model is the attempt to develop an account of the politics of aesthetics that is faithful to the difficult and ambiguous dimensions of the aesthetic experience that were hinted at by the texts of classical philosophical aesthetics. Most notably, this paper is concerned with the idea that the aesthetic experience can be understood as a form of disinterested contemplation-one that is not reducible to cognitive or moral considerations-and with some of the consequences that this entails. It explores some of the political significance that can be attributed to this idea of disinterested contemplation, arguing that the aesthetic should be understood as a withdrawal from the world's pre-established meanings. Unlike some of the other thinkers discussed in this paper, this author doubts that a single, uniform meaning can be ascribed to the aesthetic experience. I thus argue that we need to approach the aesthetic through the networks of textual significance that have been built up around it. Throughout this paper, I attempt to explain how the efforts to link art and aesthetics to politics simultaneously give rise to ideas about the nature of the human community. In looking at the sixth and final model, what I have called the "anarchical politics of aesthetic ambiguity," I argue that the aesthetic tradition offers a rather unique way of understanding the relationship between the individual and the community. Here, we see that the aesthetic is prone to a number of paradoxes, central among them the one that makes art the bearer of a solipsistic pleasure in which we nevertheless discover our capacity for genuinely communicating with others, outside of cliches and banalities.

  • In recent years, the construction of golf course has been increasing very rapidIy and serious concern is paid to its environmental consequences both in Korea and in Japan. EIA systems as a major requirements for golf course developments emerged to reduce the adverse impact of their developments in Korea as well as in Japan. This study aims to compare EIA systems, procedures and methodologies employed between Korea and Japan in order to demonstrate the success and failure of EIAs in each country. The results of this study can be summarized as follows : 1) EIAs are systematically undertaken based upon law in Korea but on regulation in Japan. 2) Public participation Isn't encouraged in the Korean EIA procedure while the Japan EIA system involves public participation. 3) Korean EISs shall be prepared after the proposed projects are approved according to the related laws and be followed by the necessary procedures, but in the carte of Japan, EISs be prepared prior to their approval . 4) ELSs shall be prepared by agencies with special expertise with respect to 7he environmental impacts (appointed by government) or the sponsoring agencies themselves in Korea whereas they be prepared by agencies proposing the projects in japan. 5) EISs both in Korea and in Japan are characterized by cliches which may be unfamiliar to reviews and the public. 6) EIAs describe the existing presence and predict and evaluate that a development work influences the present conditions. Here Japan EIA treats mainly natural - and life environment, whereas Korean EIA dose social - and economic environment. And hence in the case of Japan is undertaken more quantitative and scientific analysis, whereas in the case of Korea is less. It is suggested that the key point to impact analysis is to use the correct concepts, fomulate the comparative studies of methodologies and find the methods that suit the decision as well as which country's own circumstances.

  • While films today offer spectacle to the viewers due to the advanced technique, the "Modern Cinema"-a term named by Deleuze- offers spectators an opportunity to think about what they observe and to have various filmic experiences through the shifting of time image within the film narrative, which has been rather neglected as it is just a form in the realm of classic narrative. Originally the shifted time image was a result of thinking about the identity of a film. But it has self-reproduced over and over, and now it has turned into one of cliches that narrative films take. In this sense, a Korean Melodrama "Sarang-ni" is discriminated from other films which take twisted time image as a convention. The film "Sarang-ni", instead of adopting established shifted time image, put us to the confused time arrangement and then it amazingly arouses emotional effect which it initially meant to convey. This journal analyzes how the time representation of operates in the film's narration, and consequently how the form affects the storytelling.
