This study explored students' online fashion studio class experiences, and investigated the factors affecting their class satisfaction. An online survey of college students who were enrolled in online studio classes within apparel and fashion-related departments during the spring of 2020 was conducted in June 2020. Responses from a total of 213 participants were included in the final data. Respondents rated lecture clips as the most useful, followed by teacher demonstration and feedback, PowerPoint (PPT) supplements, and Q&As. Frequently mentioned areas of improvement were online platform stability and video quality. Many respondents also stated that more streamlined teacher-student communication channels, immediate and meticulous teacher feedback, the adoption of course contents developed specifically for an online environment, and provisions for equipment usage would be desirable. Student satisfaction of an online fashion design studio class was significantly affected by teaching presence, social presence, online learning system stability, perceived usefulness of teacher's demonstration, and affective response toward COVID-19. Students satisfaction of an online garment construction studio class was significantly affected by teaching and social presence, online learning system stability, and perceived usefulness of teacher's demonstration. Based on these findings, we recommend developing teaching contents and methods that allow students to feel included in class and establish an online system with various functions to enhance the sense of social connection that can enable two-way communication.

Many similar class components are stored in object-storage but the object-storage has needed the retrieval function of correct component for reuse. Accordingly this paper designed the class component retrieval viewer of the object-storage by using the improved spreading activation strategy. Object-storage has made up of information of inheritance relation, superclass, subclass, and we defined the queries about each class function. Also we specified connectionist relaxation of the each class and query, finally we gained retrieval result which showed highest activation value order of class component information including the query function.

In this paper, the basic design study of a water-cooling jacket, which have reported no cases for applying to railway traction motors so far, were conducted for applying to Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (IPMSM) for railway vehicles. The basic thermal characteristics analysis of the 110kW-class IPMSM was performed by using 3-dimentional thermal equivalent network method. The necessary design requirements of the water-cooling jacket were derived by analyzing the results of the basic thermal properties. Next, the thermal characteristics analysis technique was established by using the equivalent model of the solenoid-typed pipe to be installed on the inside of the water-cooling jacket for 110kW-class IPMSM. Finally, a design model of 6kW-class water-cooling jacket was derived through the analysis of various design parameters.

The purpose of this study was to identify the characteristics of residential interior design according to social classes in Korean television dramas. To achieve the study purpose content analysis through slides and video tapes was used. Eighty three houses out of twenty eight dramas from 1990 to 1996 were classified into three classes ; upper class middle-upper class middle-lower class. Those houses were analyzed based one the five review points : total interior images finishing materials window treatments furniture and accessories. The results of the study were as follows ; (1) In the general characteristics of the house in Korean television dramas there were distinct differences in age job of householders and house types by classes. (2) In the characteristics of living-room interior design in the television dramas there were distinct differences according to social classes in interior images floor coverings furniture styles and accessories. (3) In the characteristics of master bedroom in the television dramas there were a little differences according to classes. (4) In the characteristics of kitchen and dining room in the television dramas there were differences according to classes

Companies want universities to produce graduates with creativity and problem-solving skills, and for this reason universities have extended engineering design education, including in the field of architectural engineering. This paper investigates an engineering design class in the Department of Architectural Engineering, J University. The class was taught in 2010 and 2011using an Action Learning (AL) teaching-learning strategy. The students responded that the level of participation and satisfaction was high in the Action Learning classes, and role allocation or responsibility and communication of the project teams were very effective. But it was also found that as Action Learning is such a new method for students of engineering design, an orientation session that describes what to do and what to prepare should be given before the class starts.

The growing significance of corporate social responsibility in the fashion industry has shed light on the importance of preparing fashion students to become socially responsible professionals. In spite of numerous benefits of service-learning, the teaching/learning method has been rarely employed in the fashion design and merchandising context. Therefore, the purpose of the study was first, to examine the concept and models of service-learning and compare different types of service-learning programs, and second, to discuss service-learning projects that were adopted in a visual design class as examples that service-learning can be effectively integrated into the fashion design and merchandising curriculum. This study provides the opportunity to share successful service-learning implementation with other educators to help with effective incorporation of the pedagogical program into the curriculum.

A 154 kV class high temperature superconducting (HTS) power cable system is developing in Korea. For insulation design or this cable, the grading method of insulating paper is proposed. The use of graded insulation gives improved bending properties of the cable. Therefore, we discussed the electrical stress distribution and calculation for grading insulation design of a HTS cable. Also. the basic insulation design of 154 kV class HTS power cable was done.

Recently many countries have concentrated their effort on the port automation, in order to be the Hub-port, that the Ultra Large Container Ship could come alongside the Quay, in their region. As the magnitude of the container ship increase, that of the Quay crane increases from 50ton-class to 61ton-class more and more. The wind speed criteria to design the structures used in the port was upgraded from 20m/s to 40m/s due to change of the weather condition. Our laboratory could have the ability to design the wedge type rail clamp for 50ton-class Quay crane in 30m/s wind speed. Accordingly we analyzed the load condition of the Quay crane about 40m/s wind speed upgraded from 20m/s and designed the wedge type rail clamp for 50ton and 61ton-class Quay crane.

The purpose of this study is to examine the influences of learners' self-efficacy on class satisfaction in learning practical basic sewing. Questionnaires were distributed to 181 college women students living in the areas of Deagu Metropolitan City and Gyeongbuk Province. The data obtained were analyzed by using various statistical tools: frequency, factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression. The self efficacy of learners of practical basic sewing were made up of five factors: ability to manage interpersonal relationships, ability to deal with assigned tasks, anxiety, challenging spirit, and fear. Class satisfaction was composed of the following factors such as interest in class, professors' ability, achievement of class objectives, connectivity, preparation for class, preference for practices, and perfectibility. This study indicated the correlations between sub-variables of learners' self efficacy and class satisfaction. In other words, the higher were the levels of ability to manage interpersonal relationships, and ability to deal with assigned tasks in self efficacy, the higher were the levels of interest in class, professors' ability, achievement of class objectives, preference for practices, and perfectibility in class satisfaction. The factors of ability to deal with assigned tasks, anxiety, and challenging spirit, in learners' self efficacy were found to have statistically significant effects on the achievement of class objectives. The factor of ability to deal with assigned tasks in self efficacy had a statistically significant influence on professors' ability. The factors of ability to deal with assigned tasks, anxiety, challenging spirit and fear were found to have statistically significant effects on all the factors of class satisfaction.

This paper proposes, for the first time, the design of class I pull-push power amplifier. With the new design, the output power is increased by four times when compared to conventional single-end class I connection amplifier with the same supply voltage. The performance of the proposed amplifier is verified by with a 100-kHz power amplifier constructed using general-purpose NPN transistors.
