  • Supply Chain Management is drawing attention of business management all over the world. A number of SCM cases from world-class enterprises have been reported. However, not many detailed SCM cases from Korean enterprises have been reported in the literature. In this paper, we present SCM cases of Korea to illustrate what specific activities are conducted and how, mostly from practical viewpoint instead of academic viewpoint; and relate the cases with the SCM framework, so as to provide better view and insights for implementing effective SCM.

  • Lagged regressor models with general stationary errors independent of the regressors are considered. The regressor process is unstable having characteristic roots on the unit circle. If the order of the lag matches the number of roots on the unit circle, the ordinary least squares estimator (OLSE) is asymptotically efficient in that it has the same limiting distribution as the generalized least squares estimator (GLSE) under the same normalization. This result extends the well-known result of Grenander and Rosenblatt (1957) for asymptotic efficiency of the OLSE in deterministic polynomial and/or trigonometric regressor models to a class of models with stochastic regressors.

  • In the present article we consider multiparameter maximal averages and discover the crucial roles played by the number of parameters in their boundedness properties. The problem we shall deal with is initiated by Rubio de Francia [8] and will be in the spirit of an inductive extension to multiparameter cases, in which tools of our study rely on the theory of Harmonic Analysis on product spaces. Suppose that $d_\mu$ is a complex Borel measure supported on a compact subset S of $R^N$ having total mass one, $\smallint_S d_\mu = 1$.

  • In this paper, we investigate a family of graphs associated to collections of arcs on surfaces. These multiarc graphs naturally interpolate between arc graphs and flip graphs, both well studied objects in low dimensional geometry and topology. We show a number of rigidity results, namely showing that, under certain complexity conditions, that simplicial maps between them only arise in the "obvious way". We also observe that, again under necessary complexity conditions, subsurface strata are convex. Put together, these results imply that certain simplicial maps always give rise to convex images.

  • In this paper, we consider the problem of batch processing of orders, where either a single order or a pair of orders which satisfies specific conditions may be grouped in the same batch. The objective of the problem is to minimize the number of batches formed to accommodate all orders. We prose an approach based on a Known algorithm proven to be optimal for special class of problems with tree structure and show the approach to have the worst case ratio of $2-{\frac{2}{n}}$

  • The Gross Laplacian $\Delta_G$ was introduced by Groww for a function defined on an abstract Wiener space (H,B) [1,7]. Suppose $\varphi$ is a twice H-differentiable function defined on B such that $\varphi"(x)$ is a trace class operator of H for every x \in B.in B.

  • The proposed class of generalized logistic models, indexed by an extra parameter, can be used to model or to examine symmetric or asymmetric discrepancies from the logistic model. When there are a finite number of different design points, we are mainly concerned with maximum likelihood estimation of parameters and in deriving their large sample behavior A score test and a bootstrap hypothesis test are also considered to check if the standard logistic model is appropriate to fit the data or if a generalization is needed .

  • The aim of this paper is to obtain a solution of a certain multidimensional convolution integral equation of Fredholm type whose kernel involves a generalized polynomial set. A number of results follow as special cases from the main theorem by specifying the parameters of the generalized polynomial set.

  • This paper presents novel self excited DC-DC converters such as Buck-boost type, Buck type and also non-inverting Buck-boost type. The proposed converters has the following advantages: simple topology, small number of circuit components, easy control methode. Therefore, these converters are suitable for the portable appliances with battery source. Theoretical analysis and experimental results for SOW class Buck-boost type self oscillation DC-DC converter have been obtained, which demonstrate the high efficiency and good performance.
