1. Objectives: This study is to investigate the relationship between Intima Media Thickness(IMT) of common carotid artery and Sasang Constitution. 2. Methods: 839 persons, over 40 years old, participated in community-based cohort of Korea Genome and Epiedemiology Study (KOGES) in Wonju City and Pyeongchang City of South Korea from June 2006 to February 2008. The diagnosis of Common carotid Intima Media Thickness was evaluated by B Mode ultrasonography, cardiovascular risk factors were checked using questionnaire and blood samples. Constitution was verified by a Sasang constitution specialist according to the results of PSSC(Phonetic System for Sasang Constitution), facial photos and a simplified Sasang constitutional questionnaire. Multiple regression analysis and logistic regression analysis were performed with SPSS. 3. Results: There were significantly high values in waist circumference, fasting blood sugar, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, triglyceride, HOMA-IR and hsCRP in Taeeumin and low in HDL-cholesterol and adiponectin in Taeeumin. There were significantly high value in Common Carotid Intima Media Thickness in Taeeumin. Age was the significant cardiovascular risk factor irrespective of Sasang constitution in all participants. There was a positive correlation between smoking and Soyangin in all participants and men. There were positive correlations between LDL-cholesterol, BMI and Taeeumin in all participants and men. There were positive correlations between hsCRP and Soeumin in all participants and men. There was significantly high odds ratio of Taeeumin over Soeumin in common carotid Intima Media Thickness. 4. Conclusions: Regimens on cardiovascular diseases should be considered according to Sasang constitution. There are more sensitive risk factor in each constitution; smoking in Soyangin, LDL-cholesterol and BMI in Taeeumin, hsCRP in Soeumin.

It is estimated that the potential of Chinese market is infinite. The success of Chinese economic reformation is generating the high economic growth in China. China is a rising logistics market as its growing throughput and port expansion but China's railway transportation system is not well-linked with ports. China built TCR(Trans-China Railway) which is across the Chinese territory and connected to as far as Europe. With this mode, it is possible to place more overseas freight and meet more customers' needs. Lian yun gang is a city on the East coast of China where the commencing station of TCR is located. This paper reviews the present conditions of Lianyungang and presents the development direction of the city to become a logistics point.

The present study aims to examine job satisfaction and stress in relation to features of jobs taken by nursing assistants. The subjects for study are 469 nursing assistants active at work in various medical clinics and hospitals in Seoul Metropolitan City, engaged in a study conducted from May 1, 2013 through September 4, 2013. The positive analysis was verified at a significance level of five percent, and SPSS/WIN18.0 was used for statistics process. The analysis of frequency, t-test, one-way analysis of variance, and multiple regression analysis were conducted, and was then analyzed by multiple range test for statistics. The analysis reveals that job satisfaction level marks significant variance in accordance to the year of nursing assistant certificate acquired, age, and their final academic backgrounds. As to the job satisfaction variances in accordance to job features, the location of working places, fields of jobs, and the mode of jobs mark the highest. The study indicates that standardized directions for tasks in specific fields of jobs and education programs should be implemented for consistent management are requisite for improved efficiency of nursing assistants and professional nursing workforce.

The main factors that made Seoul's rapid population accommodation and urbanization possible in the mid-to-late 20th century were the ex-pansion of urban infrastructure, completion of the transportation system, and housing supply. The development of transportation and resi-dential development occurred simultaneously, and in particular, apartment complexes, a representative residential area in Seoul, were most influenced by Perry's neighborhood unit theory. The purpose of this study is to analyze the process of the physical environment of apartment complexes in the metropolitan area in response to development of transportation in the mid-to-late 20th century. The analysis sites are Jamsil Apartment Complex(1974), Dunchon Apartment Complex(1979), Mok-dong New Town(1983), Sanggye New Town(1985), Bundang New-town(1990) and Ilsan Newtown(1990), which were planned at the turning point of development of transportation and actively reflect the neigh-borhood unit theory. The analysis was conducted in three stages. Analyzing the status of transportation when the plan was established, deriv-ing the planning elements, and classifying the planning elements into walking, bus, car, and subway which is the representative transportation. The conclusions from the analysis are as follows. Firstly, completing the legal system and expanding the related infrastructure are essential. Secondly, in contrast to the increase in traffic volume, the pedestrian environment has been continuously improved. Thirdly, despite the emergence of new mode of transportation, there was a tendency to activate the linkage between transportation.

The importance of constraints has been one of major issues in recreation for prediction of choice behavior; however, traditional conjoint choice model did not consider the effects of these variables or fail to integrate them into choice model adequately. The purposes of this research are (a) to estimate the effects of constraints in theme park choice behavior by the constraints-induced conjoint choice model, and (b) to test additional explanatory power of the additional constraints in this suggested model against the more parsimonious traditional model. A leading polling agency was employed to select respondents. Both alternative generating and choice set generating fractional factorial design were conducted to meet the necessary and sufficient conditions for calibration of the constraints-induced conjoint choice model. Th alternative-specific model was calibrated. The log-likelihood ratio test revealed that suggested model was accepted in the favor of the traditional model, and the goodness-of-fit($\rho$$^2$) of suggested and traditional model was 0.48427 and 0.47950, respectively. There was no difference between traditional and suggested model in estimates of attribute levels of car and shuttle bus because alternatives were created to estimate the effects of constraints independently from mode related variables. Most parameters values of constraints had the expected sign and magnitude: the results reflected the characteristics of the theme parks, such as abundance of natural attractions and poor accessibility in Everland, location of major fun rides indoor in Lotte World, city park like characteristics of Dream Land, and traffic jams in Seoul. Instead of the multinomial logit model, the nested logit model is recommended for future researches because this model more reasonably reflects the real decision-making process in park choice. Development of new methodology too integrate this hierarchical decision-making into choice model is anticipated.

Model tests for the ultimate pullout resistance of anchorages and investigation of failure behaviors in cohesionless soil have been conducted. The factors affecting the anchorage are mostly the geometry of the system, and soil properties of sands. The main conclusions of the experimental work were as follows. 1. The load - displacement relationship can be a form of parabolic curve for all plates. 2. The change in ultimate pullout resistance of anchor is mostly affected by embedment ratio and size of anchor, and influenced to a lesser degree by its shape. 3. Critical embedment ratio which is defined as the failure mode changes from shallow to deep mode is increased with increasing height of anchor. 4. For a constant anchor height, as the width of anchor increases the ultimate pullout resistance also increases. However, considering the efficiency of anchor for unit area, width of anchor does not appear to have any sigrnificant contribution on increasing anchor city. 5. Anchor capacity has a linear relation to sand density for any given section and the rate of change increases as the section increases. Critical depth determining the failure patterns of anchor is decreased with a decrease of sand density. 6. With increasing inclination angle, size of anchor, and decreasing embedment ratio, the ultimate pullout resistance of anchor under inclined loading is significantly decreased. 7. The ultimate pullout resistance of double anchor, a method of improving single of anchor capacity, is influenced by the center - to - center spacing adjacent anchors. It is also found that tandem and parallel anchor rigging arrangements decrease the anchor system capacity to less than twice the single anchor capacity due to anchor interference.
New Orleans located in the estuary of the Mississippi River was attacked by Hurricane Katrina and suffered big flood on August 2005. Since unconsolidated Holocene to middle Miocene strata is the main basement rocks, land subsidence has been occurred steadily due to soil compaction and normal faulting. It was reported that the maximum subsidence rate from 2002 to 2005 was -29 mm/yr. Many studies in the area have been carried out for understanding the subsiding and potential risks caused by ground subsidence are weighted by the fact that a large area of the city is located below the mean sea level. A small baseline subset (SBAS) method is applied for effectively measuring time-series LOS (Line-of sight) surface deformation from differential synthetic aperture radar interferograms in this study. The time-series surface deformation at New Orleans was measured from RADARSAT-1 SAR images. The used dataset consists of twenty-one RADARSAT-1 fine beam mode images on descending orbits from February 2005 to February 2007 and another twenty-one RADARSAT-1 standard beam mode images on ascending orbits from January 2005 to February 2007. From this dataset, 25 and 38 differential interferograms on descending and ascending orbits were constructed, respectively. The vertical and horizontal components of surface deformation were extracted from ascending and descending LOS surface deformations. The result from vertical component of surface deformation indicates that subsidence is not significant with a mean rate of -3.1${\pm}$3.2 mm/yr.
Background: It is important to understand the perceptions of oncologists to understand the comprehensive picture of clinical presentation of breast cancer. In the absence of clear evidence, clinical practice involving patients of breast cancer in India should provide insights into stages of breast cancer with which women present to their clinics and mode of screening of breast cancer prevalent in Andhra Pradesh. Materials and Methods: A qualitative study was conducted to understand the perceptions of oncologists regarding clinical presentation of breast cancer, stages at which women present to clinics, and mode of screening of breast cancer prevalent in Andhra Pradesh. In-depth interviews (IDI) were conducted with ten practising oncologists from various public and private cancer hospitals in Hyderabad city to understand their perspectives on breast cancer and screening. The data were triangulated to draw inferences suitable for the current public Health scenario. Results: Late presentation was indicated as the most important cause of decreased survival among women. Most women present at Stage 3 and 4 when there is no opportunity for surgical intervention. The results indicate that there is a huge gap in awareness about breast cancer, especially in rural areas and among poor socioeconomic groups. Even despite knowledge, most women delay in reporting due to reasons like fear, embarrassment, cost, ignorance, negligence, and easy going attitude. Conclusions: It is important to improve awareness about breast cancer and screening methods for promoting early screening. The study inferred that it would be beneficial to establish cancer registries in rural areas. Also, the policymakers need to make key decisions which among three methods (breast self examination (BSE), clinical breast examination and mammography) can best be used as a screening tool and how to successfully implement population wide screening program to prevent mortality and morbidity from breast cancer in India.
In Korea, quota sampling is mainly adopted in telephone surveys, instead of random sampling which requires call-back procedure and random selection of respondent within households. The contact mode based on the se $x^{*}$age quotas is economically more advantageous and less time-consuming. However, it lacks theoretical ground for valid statistical inference, so that it is hardly accepted in academic circles despite of widely spread practice. Subsequently, survey theoreticians argued that random sampling-based telephone surveys should be tried. In response, Research & Research (R&R), a private research company in Seoul, executed atelephone survey by random sampling mode for the prediction of 2002 Ulsan City Mayor Election. This study describes an analytical and experimental investigation of the pedestrian steel-deck truss bridge in the City of Rochester, New York, U.S.A. This investigation was undertaken to provide assurance that this important bridge continues to be functional for this use. An ambient vibration experiment on full-scale structures is a way of assessing the reliability of the various assumptions employed in the mathematical models used in analysis. It is also the most reliable way of determining the structural parameters of major importance in structural dynamics, such as the mode shapes and the associated natural frequencies. Pedestrian-induced vibrations have been measured on the bridge to determine the displacement and the vertical and transverse dynamic characteristics of the steel deck truss. In the analytical modeling, three-dimensional finite element analysis was developed and validated against the ambient tests.
