Because burying food waste in underground will be prohibited from year 2005, the reutilization of food waste by feeding domestic animals like ducks and making artificial fertilizer are preferred. 4. • The habitual rooms and other structures related to everyday life are almost always grouped around the courtyard and together make up a house. There are many kinds of variety in types of courtyard houses depending on location, composition, allocation and relationship with inner space of the house. Every type of courtyard house accumulates many factors, which are social and economic circumstances, weather and geographical conditions. They are still well harmonized with life style and weather conditions in each area and basic unit of city organization. A courtyard can be shown as a place for everyday conversation like a community. Everyday space is the connective tissue that binds daily lives together, amorphous and so persuasive that it is difficult even to perceive. In spite of its ubiquity, everyday space is nearly invisible in the professional discourses of the city, like everyday life. Therefore Courtyards are special places that are outside yet almost inside, open to the sky, - a microcosm which gives relief to the inner rooms, gives the inhabitants a sense of ease and calm, and the feeling that they have their own piece of sky to use and protect them. This research will explore a variety of space use and dwelling types through courtyards based on field research and design projects.

The data were collected from October 3rd, 1997 to March 20th, 1998. The subjects in this study were 126 caregivers as a family member and 126 patients with stroke who were hospitalized in two oriental medicine hospitals, three general hospitals located in Taegue City and Pusan City. The questionnaires consisted of questions regarding burden(25 items) and quality of life (18 items) of caregivers. Data were analyzed using percentages, mean, 1-test, ANOVA and Pearson-correlation coefficients done with the SPSS program. The results of thi study are as follows : 1. The score for family caregiver's burden was higher than the middle score. 2. The score for family caregiver's quality of life was relatively low. 3. The relationship between burden and quality of life was showed a significant inverse correlation. 4. The family caregivers' age had statistically significant differences in the degree of burden. 5. The education and monthly income of caregivers had statistically significant differences in the quality of life. That is, the higher the level of education and the higher the monthly income, the higher the degree of quality of life. 6. The age and sex of patients had affected the qualiry of life of caregivers sigmificantly. That is, caregivers felt more burden when caring for the patient group in sexties than any other age group and female patients than for male patients. 7. • The Korea built successfully e-Korea based on the best of internet infrastructure which was constructed in the world. Continually, Korea is constructing u-City for twenty-first century to enhance the quality of life and to grow up IT industrial. But there is no standard model for u-City because three main builders, central government, local autonomous entities, and communication carriers have respectively their objects, targets and domains. If u-City would be constructed by the common infrastructure for ubiquitous communication, it will be possible to provide any ubiquitous services and compatibility. And the communication infrastructure has to be reflected on the first stage of city planning to reduce high cost for u-City construction. This paper mentions firstly the ranges of communication infrastructure and shows how to construct it each range.
