비수도권 신산업 클러스터 기업의 역외 이전에 관한 고찰: 충청권 바이오헬스 기업 사례 (A Study on the Relocation of A New Industry Cluster Firm in the Non-Metropolitan Region: The Case of the Bio-Health Cluster in the Chungcheong Region)

  • 본 연구는 비수도권 신산업 클러스터 기업의 역외 이전 요인을 살펴보고자 충청권 바이오헬스 기업을 대상으로 심층 사례 연구를 진행하였다. 기존 연구에서 상대적으로 간과된 클러스터 내 핵심 이해관계자들의 경험과 인식을 중심으로 한 내러티브 형식의 연구를 통해 비수도권에서 창업한 기업가가 기업의 성장 과정에서 수도권으로 이주하는 주요 요인과 이를 결심하기까지의 과정 등을 살펴보았다. 충청권 클러스터 내 주요 이해관계자 61명과 인터뷰를 통해, 기업가는 창업 초기 과정에는 지역의 이해관계자로부터 다양한 혜택을 받지만, 회사가 본격적인 성장 과정에 진입하게 되면 전문인력 확보와 시장 접근성 등의 문제로 수도권 이전을 고심하게 된다. 이에, 충청권에서 창업하여 기업을 이전하지 않은 기업과 이전한 기업의 사례를 바탕으로 비수도권 클러스터가 지닌 구조적인 문제점을 살펴보고, 이를 위한 정책 시사점을 제시한다.

  • Conley introduced attracting sets and repelling sets for a flow on a topological space and showed that if f is a flow on a compact metric space, then 𝓡(f) = ⋂{AU ∪ A*U |U is a trapping region for f}. In this paper we introduce chain recurrent set, trapping region, attracting set and repelling set for a flow f on a TVS-cone metric space and prove that if f is a flow on a compact TVS-cone metric space, then 𝓡(f) = ⋂{AU ∪ A*U |U is a trapping region for f}.

조선후기 조리서의 병과류 비교 연구 - 충청도지역을 중심으로 - (Comparative study of Byung-Kwa-Ryu (Korean rice cake and cookie) in the late Joseon Dynasty - focused on the Chungcheon Province Area -)

  • This is a comparative study of Byung-Kwa-Ryu (Korean rice cake and cookie) of the Chungcheon Province Area in the late Joseon Dynasty, based on 「Jusiksiui」 in the late 1800s, 「Eumsikbangmunnira」 in 1891, and 「Banchandeungsok」 in 1913. This study was also compared with the recipes of 「Suunjapbang」 of 1540, 「Eumsikdimibang」 of around 1670, 「Siuijeonseo」, and Gyuhabchongseo of the late 1800s. As for the Byung-Kwa-Ryu(Korean rice cake and cookie) introduced in the recipe book, 「Eumsikbangmunnira」 recorded the most with 18 types of rice cakes and two types of Korean sweets, followed by 「Jusiksiui. There were 14 types of rice cakes, and two types of Korean sweets. 「Banchandeungsok」 had eight types ofrice cakes and six types of Korean sweets. Yogi-tteok in 「Jusiksiui」 and 「Banchandeungsok」 were foods that could not be found in other recipes. Yakgwa and Jeungpyeon were in all three books as well as 「Eumsikdimibang」. These were also included in 「Siuijeonseo」 and were introduced to most cookbooks. The materials used and the method of making it differed for each recipe. Many studies on cookbooks have focused on the Yeongnam region so far. This study served as an opportunity to confirm the dietary life data of the Chungcheong-do region through a review of the recipe books containing food from the Chungcheong-do region. In addition, it was possible to examine the ingredients and cooking methods used in each cookbook at the time through comparative analysis with the cookbooks in the Yeongnam region.

Assessment of extreme precipitation changes on flood damage in Chungcheong region of South Korea

  • Flooding has become an increasing event which is one of the major natural disasters responsible for direct economic damage in South Korea. Driven by climate change, precipitation extremes play significant role on the flood damage and its further increase is expected to exacerbate the socioeconomic impact in the country. However, the empirical evidence associating changes in precipitation extremes to the historical flood damage is limited. Thus, there is a need to assess the causal relationship between changes in precipitation extremes and flood damage, especially in agricultural region like Chungcheong region in South Korea. The spatial and temporal changes of precipitation extremes from 10 synoptic stations based on daily precipitation data were analyzed using the ClimPACT2 tool and Mann-Kendall test. The four precipitation extreme indices consisting of consecutive wet days (CWD), number of very heavy precipitation wet days (R30 mm), maximum 1-day precipitation amount (Rx1day), and simple daily precipitation intensity (SDII), which represent changes in intensity, frequency, and duration, respectively, and the time series data on flooded area and flood damage from 1985 to 2020 were used to investigate the causal relationship in the ARDL-ECM framework and pairwise Granger causality analysis. The trend results showed that majority of the precipitation indices indicated positive trends, however, CWD showed no significant changes. ARDL-ECM framework showed that there was a long-run relationship among the variables. Further analysis on the empirical results showed that flooded area and Rx1day have significant positive impacts on the flood damage in both short and long-runs while R30 mm only indicated significant positive impact in the short-run, both in the current period, which implies that an increase in flooded area, Rx1day, and R30 mm will cause an increase in the flood damage. The pairwise Granger analysis showed unidirectional causality from the flooded area, R30 mm, Rx1day, and SDII to flood damage. Thus, these precipitation indices could be useful as indicators of pluvial flood damage in Chungcheong region of South Korea.

한국의료패널로 본 소득분위에 따른 권역별 건강수준과 의약품 지출 비용 (Regional Health Status and Medicine Expenses by Income Quartile Using the Korea Health Panel)

  • Objectives : In this study, 3,107 patients were used to evaluate the impact based on raw data of 2014 and the health status and medical expenses income quintile was collected and data was analyzed. Methods : Analysis method was the average comparison, ANOVA, subjected to a multiple logistic regression analysis, the statistical test was the t-test and the scheffe post verification. Results : Gender(p<.000), age(p<.000), marital status(p<.000) educational status (p<.000), easement(p<.000), medication(p<.000), subjective health status(p<.005) were analyzed. First quintile identified that the highest amount was spent in the Chungcheong region, the 2nd quintile showed that the highest output was in the Gyeongsang region. The 3rd and 4th quintiles indicated that the highest expenditure was in the Seoul metropolitan region. The 5th quintile showed that the Chungcheong was the highest once again and the Jeolla region was the lowest in terms of expediture. Conclusions : Future medical research on income will require the government's Big Data collection to create the primary basis for policy making in order to improve the efficiency, effectiveness and equity of medicine spending.

충청권 농촌지역 쇠퇴 특성 및 유형에 관한 연구 (A Study on Classifications and Characteristics of Declined Rural Area in Chungcheong Region)

  • 본 연구는 농촌지역의 쇠퇴도를 진단하고, 농촌생활권의 기초단위인 읍 면 지역에 대한 공간적 쇠퇴 특성과 유형을 도출하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 이를 위해, 충청권 27개 시 군을 대상으로 거시적 차원의 쇠퇴수준과 잠재수준을 분석하여 도시차원의 쇠퇴현상을 진단한다. 다음으로 공간단위를 세분화하여 충청권의 274개 읍 면지역을 대상으로 쇠퇴수준을 분석하고, K-평균군집분석을 적용하여 쇠퇴유형 및 쇠퇴특성을 도출한다. 충청권 시 군 별 쇠퇴수준 및 잠재수준 분석결과, 충남지역의 청양군, 서천군, 태안군이 높은 쇠퇴도를 보이고 있으며, 충북지역의 전통적 낙후지역인 남부 3군(보은, 옥천, 영동)과 단양군, 괴산군의 쇠퇴도가 높게 나타나고 있다. 또한, 충청권의 읍 면지역 중 쇠퇴의 경향을 보이는 166개 읍 면지역에 대한 군집분석 결과 인구 및 주택 노후화지역(29), 경제기반 취약지역(16), 중심지접근성 취약지역(42), 주거환경 열악지역(51), 노령인구 취약지역(28)의 5개 군집유형의 쇠퇴특성이 도출되었다. 충청권 농촌지역의 쇠퇴특성과 유형화를 시도한 본 연구는 농촌지역 활성화 정책 수립에 있어 기초자료로 활용될 것으로 기대되며, 향후 연구에서는 읍 면지역 차원을 넘어 농촌정체성의 기초단위가 되는 농촌마을을 대상으로 종합적인 진단과 맞춤형 정책발굴 연구가 이어질 것으로 기대된다.

대전.충청권 타올 산업 연계의 공간적 특성과 정책적 함의 (Spatial Features of the Linkages Developed in the Towel Industry in the Daejeon and Chungcheong Regions and their Implications on Government Policy)

  • 본 연구는 타올 산업이 집적한 대전 충청권을 사례로, 타올 산업 집적지의 형성 과정을 산업 재구조화를 중심으로 고찰하고, 타올 산업 생산 연계의 공간적 특성을 하청 연계를 중심으로 파악하며, 이러한 타올 산업 하청 연계의 공간적 특성이 관련 정책에 주는 함의를 규명하고자 했다. 이 지역에서 타올 산업이 성장하기 시작한 것은, 한국 전쟁 이후 북한 출신 직물 기술자들이 정착하면서 관련 기술과 정보가 지역 내에 확산되었기 때문이다. 이후 타올 산업은 1980년대에 재구조화를 거치면서 사회적 분업에 의한 기업별 전문화를 통해, 지역 내 기업 간 긴밀한 연계를 형성하게 되었다. 따라서 타올산업 지역에 대한 정책을 추진하는 경우에는, 산업 자체의 특성은 물론, 이와 같은 산업 연계와 연계 공간에 대한 고려가 선행되어야 할 것이다.

KBDI 가뭄지수를 이용한 SSP 기후변화 시나리오하의 충청지역 백두대간 산불 잠재력 전망 (Projecting forest fire potential in the Baekdudaegan of the Chungcheong region under the SSP scenario climate change using KBDI Drought Index)

  • Recently, climate change has been regarded as a major cause of large-scale forest fires worldwide, and there is concern that more frequent and severe forest fires will occur due to the level of greenhouse gas emissions. In this study, the daily Keetch and Byram Drought Index (KBDI) of the Baekdudaegan in Chungcheong region including Sobaeksan, Songnisan, and Woraksan National Parks were calculated to assess effect of climate change on the forest fire potential- severity of annual maximum KBDI and frequency of high KBDI days. The present (2000~2019) and future KBDI(2021~2040, 2041~2060, 2081~2090) were calculated based on the meteorological observation and the ensemble regional climate model of the SSP1-2.6 and SSP5-8.5 scenarios with a spatial resolution of 1-km provided by Korea Meteorological Administration(KMA). Under the SSP5-8.5 scenario, 6.5℃ increase and 14% precipitation increase are expected at the end of the 21st century. The severity of maximum daily KBDI increases by 48% (+50mm), and the frequency of high KBDI days (> 100 KBDI) increases more than 100 days, which means the high potential for serious forest fires. The analysis results showed that Songnisan National Park has the highest potential for forest fire risk and will continue to be high in intensity and frequency in the future. It is expected that the forest vulnerability of the Baekdudaegan in the Chungcheong region will greatly increase and the difficulty in preventing and suppressing forest fires will increase as the abundance of combustible materials increases along with climate changes.

우리나라의 지역 특성이 지역 경제 성장에 미치는 요인과 영향 분석 (Analyzing Factors and Impacts of Regional Characteristics to Regional Economic Growth in South Korea)

  • This study analyzed the factors affecting economic growth using multiple regression model and Geographically Weighted Regression in consideration of population, industry and employment, housing and political characteristics on economic growth by region. The analysis results are summarized as follows. First, the total employment growth rate, manufacturing employment growth rate, local election turnout and the level of party consensus between the central and local governments are having a positive impact on regional economic growth. Second, according to the GWR analysis, the population has a positive impact on economic growth in the southern region of Korea, and the increase in the total number of employees has a positive impact on the southern region of Gyeonggi Province, Gangwon Province, North Chungcheong Province and North Gyeongsang Province. Finally, the voter turnout of urbanites is positively affecting economic growth in South Chungcheong Province, Gangwon Province and the southern coast, while North Jeolla and South Jeolla provinces have a positive impact on economic growth as the parties of the central and local governments are equal. The results of this study may suggest the role of local government for regional economic development.

종가 제례음식의 편(떡)에 관한 연구 (Study on Pyeon (tteok) of Jong-ga Ancestral Ritual Food)

  • This study researched a document regarding 'Pyeon (tteok)' on 25 Jong-ga ancestral ritual foods through "Jong-ga Ancestral ritual formalities and food", published during 2003~2008 by the National Research Institute of Cultural Heritage of Cultural Heritage Administration. A after about 10 years, the transmission process of the setting and recipe was compared and analyzed in 2015 by directly visiting 4 Jong-ga. This research classified regions into 7 Gyeonggi, 4 Chungcheong, 2 Honam, and 12 Yeongnam, and classified hakpa, Gyeonggi, Chungcheong, Honam region into 13 Gihohakpa, Yeongnam region into 12 Yeongnamhakpa. The important analysis standard of Jong-ga ancestral ritual food was the region and hakpa, which appeared to considerably influence 'Pyeon' setting style, which represents and symbolizes family and recipe. Gihohakpa Jong-ga, which is an academic tradition that pursues practical interests, seems to highly regard practicality to adapt to changes along with the period. On the contrary, Yeongnamhakpa Jong-ga, which highly regards self-sufficiency living base and moral justification, seems to be highly conservative. Increase in Jong-ga, which utilizes mill, is the result of adaptation to the period environment such as Jongbu aging and lack of labor, etc.
