Zhu Shi Jie's Suan Xue Qi Meng is one of the most important books which gave a great influence to the development of Chosun Mathematics. Investigating San Hak Gye Mong Ju Hae(算學啓蒙註解) published in the middle of the 19th century, we study the development of Chosun Mathematics in the century. The author studied western mathematics together with theory of equations in Gu Il Jib (九一集) written by Hong Jung Ha(洪正夏) and then wrote the commentary, which built up a foundation on the development of Algebra of Chosun in the century.

The Chosun Exhibition was held in 1929 and the Architectural Association of Chosun(AAC) displayed model houses fur the fair. These model houses represented the new housing trend of the Chosun society, so this research was necessary to find out the facts. The main materials used for this research were issues from 'Chosun and Architecture'. The objects of this research was to find out the activity of the AAC and to classify the displayed model houses according to the structure, plan and interior. These three model houses depicted the improved housing designs at that time. Improved housing designs also depicted the convenience of everyday life, hygiene, improvement of facilities and the application of modem lift to that era. Therefore, these three houses would be revaluated as new models of houses for the Chosun society under education activity by the AAC.

The syntheses of 9,9'-spiro-9-silabifluorene as well as 1,1-dichloro-1-silafluorene and 1,1-dimethyl-1-silafluorene through the formation of 2,2'-dibromobiphenyl have been emphasized with good yields. Their fluorescence spectra are obtained using photoluminescence spectrometer and assumed to be the precursors of the development of polymers.

After analyzing the record of climate of the Chosun era with the weather data written on the true history of the Chosun Dynasty, and in comparison with the latest weather data in Seoul, the following conclusion has been reached. It s not easy to restore the climate of the Chosun era with the true history of the Chosun Dynasty only, for the data of the Chosun era is nothing but 5.4% of that the recent 10 years, centering around Seoul. The number of days of the praying for rain and fine weather have nothing to do with those of precipitation. The monthly number of days of precipitation and hail are similar to those of the recent 10 years, even though the data is not enough. The situation of the days of frost and fog are very different from that of the recent ,10 years. This suggests that they recorded the situation when there was a lot of casualties to men and property, while they didn't record it when there were no casualties because the precipitation occured at the time.

This paper analyzes Japan's consignment management of the Chosun Railway to the South Manchuria Railway. While Chosun Railway was entrusted, its management style differed significantly from that of Japan's direct management. After eight years of trust management, the direct management of Chosun Railway was returned to Japan. This of beyond border trust management is very rare. In addition, the management of Chosun Railway by South Manchuria Railway, which had an operation style similar to that of a private company, led to changes in Chosun Railway. This research analyzes the four key traits of South Manchuria Railway's consigned management. The first key trait is the initial Korean infrastructure and operation separation model. The second key trait is the international transportation and administration segregation. The third key trait is that it expanded the railway related businesses and led to the establishment of private railway companies. The fourth key trait is that the continental linked transportation was activated. Through analyses, it would be to create a comparative study of the resulting East Asian countries' operations. Furthermore, this research will in investigating the nature of Chosun Railway.

In this paper, an in-plane deformation measuring system using a dual-beam shear interferometer was constructed to measure the in-plane deformation of the measuring object. The in-plane deformation of the object was quantitatively measured according to the load and surface treatment conditions of the object. We also verified the reliability of the proposed technique by simultaneously performing the technique with an electronic speckle pattern interferometry system (ESPI), which is another laser application measurement technology. Digital shearography directly measures the deformation gradient or strain components and has the advantages of being full-field, noncontact, highly sensitive, and robust. It offers a much higher measurement sensitivity compared with noncoherent measurement methods and is more robust and applicable to in-field tests.

The aim of this in vitro study was to evaluate the changes in the roughness and weight of titanium discs treated with 3 different types of magnetostrictive ultrasonic scaler tip. Eighty identical disks (10 mm in diameter), 50 for surface roughness and 30 for weight change, were investigated in this study. For this study, 3 types of scaler tip were used as follows; Powerline(FSI-PWR-1000), Slimline(FSI-SLI-1000), and Thinsert(-16 00037374). The power was set to high power(HP), medium power(MP), and low power(LP), in the blue zone recommended by the manufacturer. Surface topography analysis was carried out using scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Surface roughness measurements, the average surface roughness (Ra) and mean roughness profile depth (Rz), were compared between treated and non-treated surfaces with a profilometer. A PowerLINE-MP of magnetostrictive ultrasonic scalers for implant patients might be recommended when considering changes in the roughness and weight of titanium discs.

In this paper, we study the 17th Century Chosun's mathematics book ${\ll}$Muk Sa Jib San Beob${\gg}$ written by Chosun's mathematician Kyeong Seon Jing. Our study of thebook shows the ${\ll}$Muk Sa Jip San Beop${\gg}$ as an important 17th Century mathematics book and also as a historical data showing the mathematical environment of 17th Century Chosun.

This study shows how to use effectively construction and solution of the quadratic equation developed by mathematicians such as Gyung Sun-jing, Hong Jung-ha, Hong Dae-yong, Lee Sang-hyuk, and Nam Byung-gil through mathematics history of Chosun Dynasty. Mathematics history of Chosun Dynasty can be used in order to enhance comprehension and increase interest in an introduction to the quadratic equation. It also can be used to help motivate middle school students to solve the quadratic equation with much interest during the development phase, and develope conceptual thinking and reflective thinking in the practical phase.
