This paper investigates the portfolio selection problem with flexible labor choice and stochastic income flow where the unit wage flow is governed by a stochastic process. The agent optimally chooses consumption, investment, and labor supply. We derive the closed-form solution by applying a martingale method even with the stochastic income flow.

The goal of this article is to ascertain the factors that govern consumers' choosing to outbound travel product. The authors assess the consumers' travel product choosing processes with information search(internal knowledge, external information knowledge). alternative evaluation(perceived image, emotional experience, price acceptability, appeal, trust), and alternative choice(purchasing intention). Using data on Thailand travel product, the authors find considerable results and conclude by discussing prescriptive recommendations for the travel industry.

According to globalization of world economy on distribution and sales, logistics and transportation parts are play important role. Especially, it important to know and study how to choose right transport route and which is the key factor of route choice model in multimodal transport system. Thus this study aims to consider 4 main factors: cost, delivery time, freight, and logistics service factors additionally dividing into 13 sub factors and object is forwarders between Mongolia and Korean freight transport. The survey is based on AHP through interview with company officials. The paper provides empirical insights about current status of Mongolian forwarders and difference of the important factors between transportation modes. Result shows that time factor is role factor to choose transport route and then cost factors. Additionally, this study shows 2 different route choose factors between air transport and shipping transport forwarders.

It is necessary to develop new competitive products under the world economic downturn. The medical tourism industry a good example and it has grown rapidly for last couple of years. This paper aims to investigate socio-demographic proxies of inbound medical tourists in Korea. In particular, the medical tourist behaviors are modeled by considering the factors such as acquisition process of medical tourism information, service level of medical tourism industry and the choice attributes. The results of this study are summarized that: 1) Moot inbound medical tourists are over 40-years old with professional occupation accompanied with families; 2) The information resources are mainly acquired from travel agents and WOM(Word of Mouth) such as friends and relatives; 3) Current problems are lack of various promotion channels and the competitiveness of medical coots; 4) The inbound medical tourists are not homogeneous but vary in different segments. The study suggests that various marketing strategies should be implemented for target market segments to promote Korea as a medical tourism hub.

This qualitative study focused on the motives and patterns of child care leave by analyzing its facilitating and constraining factors. Fourteen participants were interviewed in-depth using non-structured interview questions. Motives for child care leave include mothers' active choice, mothers' inevitable secondary choice, and mothers' instrumental choice. The patterns of child care leave in terms of total period, time, and distribution vary according to individual circumstances and occupational culture surrounding child care leave for female workers. Female workers will occasionally use this child care leave as a rare opportunity to take a rest during their labor lifecycle and to achieve work-family balance.

The purpose of the study were to analyze teaching models of arithmetic operations of integers in Korean middle school mathematics textbooks of the first grade and Americans', from which we compare and analyze standards for choice of models of middle school teachers and preservice mathematics teachers. We also analyze the effect of the choice of teaching models for students to understand and appreciate number systems as a coherent body of knowledge. On the basis of that, we would like to find the best model to help students understand and reason the process of formulate the arithmetic operations of natural numbers and integers into the operation of the real number system. Furthermore, we help these series of the study to be applied effectively in the middle school mathematics class in Korea.

As tourist are becoming increasingly environmentally conscious, government and related companies need to establish policies or strategies that encourage ecotourism. The aim of this study is to analyze individual preferences and estimate shadow prices, namely, willingness to pay for coastal wetland ecotourism. This study applies a contingent choice method to measuring marginal WTP for each attribute (tour duration, number of visitors, guide, program) of coastal wetland ecotourism. The finding herein contribute to complementing the valuation methods by estimating various attributes of coastal wetland ecotourism and providing policy-makers with useful methodological framework and quantitative information in the decision-making process related to ecotourism.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore health-related experiences of the foreign wives. Methods: A qualitative research design was used to understand the health-related experiences of foreign wives. Ten informants were interviewed from December 2007 to December 2009. Results: The health related life experiences of foreign wives were analyzed within a self development process; Choice and struggle, Change and opportunity, and Settlement and expectation. The theme of choice and struggle includes physical and emotional stress in the initial stage of marriage. The second process of change and opportunity focused on the coping strategies of the women having power after knowledge acquisition from the multicultural family support center. The last theme was health and happiness from the women' perspectives. Conclusion: This study has emphasized the health condition of the foreign wives. Since foreign wives are members of Korean society, health care professionals need to design health services to meet their needs.

In this study, we try to understand the role of online social recommendation and the similarity of preferences between the recommender and the recommendee on consumer decisions in the framework of the two stage purchase decision-making process. Applying construal level theory to our context, we expect that the role of social recommendation and the similarity of preferences would vary over the stages in the two-stage decision making process. To test our hypotheses, we collected the data through an incentive compatible experiment, and analyzed the data with nested logit model. As a result, we found that the role of online social recommendation varies over the stages. Consumers take recommendation from similar others at the stage of consideration set formation, but no longer consider it at the stage of final choice. Consumers take recommendation from dissimilar others at the stage of consideration set formation. At the stage of final choice, however, consumers avoid choosing the option recommended by dissimilar others. The results of our study enrich the understanding about the role of social recommendation, and have implication to marketing practitioners who attempt to make online social recommendation system more efficient.

Water treatment process simulator is the tool for predicting sequential changes of water quality in a train of unit processes. This predicts the changes through governing equations that represent physicochemical performance of each unit processes with an initial and boundary conditions. Since there is no operational data for the design of a water treatment facility, there is no choice but to predict the performance of the facility by assuming initial and boundary conditions in virtual reality. Therefore, a simulator that can be applied in the design stage of a water treatment facility has no choice but to be built as a numerical analysis model of a deductive technique. In this study, we had conducted basic research on governing equations, inter-process data-flow, and simulator algorithms for the development of simulators. Lastly, this study will contribute to design engineering tool development research in the future by establishing the water treatment theory so that it can be programmed in a virtual world and suggesting a method for digital transformation of the water treatment process.
