Historical Operation Characteristic Analysis of Energy Storage System for Governor Free using Simulink Model (Simulink 모델을 활용한 주파수추종용 ESS 운전 특성분석)

  • As the development of BESS(Battery Energy Storage System), the application of BESS in load frequency control is considered as effective method. So, KEPCO(Korea Electric Power Corporation) have installed about 236MW ESS for GF(Govner Free) function from 2014. In this paper, we implemented Simulink Model for KEPCO GF ESS and analyzed one year historical operation data generated by Simulink model and actually measured frequency data. The operation results were divided into action for maintaining SOC and frequency. In addition, we also analyzed cycle life of GF ESS using two ESS cycle life model. We concluded the ESS cycle life models are not appropriate, because Most of the SOC swing in operation results are below 10%.

  • BIPV(Building Integrated PV) system can expect dual effects that reduce expenses for establishment of PV system by adding new function as outer covering material of building expect producing the electricity. But, there are many generation differences according to the exterior environmental facts(solar cell away, design and installation condition of interactive inverter system) Therefore, it is difficult to optimum design. Consequently in advance design system, we experiment 3kW BIPV(Building Integrated PV) generation. We concrete PV system efficient application of variable. BIPV system that is proposed in this paper, was established in Solar Energy research center of Chosun University, composed with system. This research is a basic study for application of building integrated photovoltaic system for builing.

  • For consequence analysis at a gas explosion by vessel release, release rates, demage areas of facilities, and fatality areas were estimated and analyzed at various conditions(release materials, temperatures, pressures, and vessel types) by using the release scenario of API-581 BRD. Simulation results showed that release rates and consequences in the vessel release were higher than those in the pipe release, and the order of release rates and damage areas was as follows; tank>reactor>drum> column.

  • This paper deals with the dynamic analysis and experiments of moving-magnet lineal actuator with/without spring. On the basis of two dimensional(2-D) analytical solutions and experiments, control parameters are obtained. And then, dynamic simulation algorithm is established from the voltage and motion equation. Finally, for various values of frequency, dynamic simulation results for characteristics of voltage, current and displacement of moving-magnet linear actuator are presented and confirmed through the experiments. In particular, This paper makes the PWM voltage waveform using a DSP for bidirectional voltage drive

  • This paper deals with an electromagnetic analysis and control parameter estimation of a moving-coil linear oscillatory actuator (MCLOA). Analytical solutions for electromagnetic characteristics of the MCLOA are obtained from transfer relations derived in terms of a magnetic vector potential and two-dimensional (2-d) rectangular coordinate systems. And then, on the basis of 2-d analytical solutions, control parameters such as the thrust constant, the back-emf constant and winding inductances are estimated. Finally, analytical results for both electromagnetic characteristics and control parameters of the MCLOA are validated extensively by finite element (FE) analyses. In particular, test results such as static thrust, resistance and inductance measurements are given to confirm the analyses.

  • This paper deals with dynamic characteristics of LSRM according to drive condition. First, in experiment of LSRM, position of LSRM detected approximation sensor. Position choose mover of LSRM and inductance. When approved current in each phase by decided position, we made sure current and voltage according to turn-on, turn-off. Second, in dynamic characteristic of LSRM, through an experiment, we decided turn-on position of inductance profile. Also, we presented dynamic characteristic analysis model which is consisted at motor and sensor signal part, etc., and substitute circuit constant that get using magnetic equivalent circuit method, we confirmed current and voltage waveform.

  • In this paper proposes a very simple method to estimate the rotor position of a switched reluctance motor. By on-line estimating the self-inductance of the motor, the rotor position of the SR motor is obtained, and a closed-loop drive system can be achieved. Proposed methods can easy implement to application with sensorless SR motor drive system. SR motor simulation executed with self inductance estimation and result represented. Simulation result verified the rotor position using the proposed self-inductance estimation method.

  • 2005년 말 현재, 국내의 상업운전 중인 풍력발전기는 93.5MW(KPX 2005)에 불과하여 민간의 풍력에너지 개발 참여를 위한 사업타당성 조사에서 상업운전에 이르는 풍력발전단지 개발절차에 대한 사례 연구가 미비하다. 최근 신재생에너지 보급을 위한 정부의 강력한 의지와 맞물려 민간의 대규모 풍력발전단지 개발 계획이 속속 진행되고 있는 여건에서, 국내 최초의 대단위 상업용 풍력발전단지인 영덕풍력발전의 개발 및 운영사례를 통해 국내 풍력발전단지 개발 시 고려사항과 발생 가능한 문제점 및 해결방안을 제시한다.
