National cancer incidence data were utilized to analyze trends in esophageal cancer incidence in China in order to provide basic information for making cancer control strategy. We retrieved and re-sorted valid esophageal cancer incidence data from National Central Cancer Registry Database over 20 years period from 1989 to 2008. Crude incidence and age-standardized incidence rates were calculated for analysis, with annual percent change estimated by Joinpoint software for long term trend analysis. The crude incidence rate of esophageal cancer was found to have remained relatively stable in both urban and rural areas over the 20 year period. Age standardized incidence rate (ASR) in cancer registration areas decreased from 39.5/100,000 in 1989 to 23.0/100,000 in 2008 in all areas (AAPC=-3.3%, 95% CI:-2.8~-3.7). The trend was no change in urban areas and 2.1% average annual decrease observed in rural aras. Before the year of 2000, esophageal cancer incidence rates significant decreased with 2.8% annually and then the rates kept stable. Over 20 years from 1989 to 2008, esophageal cancer age standardized incidence rate in cancer registration areas decreased with time. However, esophageal cancer is still a big issue and efforts for control should be continuously enhanced. Cancer registration is playing an important role in cancer control with the number of registries increasing and data quality improving in China.
Objective: The growth differentiation factor 8 (GDF8) gene plays a key role in bone formation, resorption, and skeletal muscle development in mammals. Here, we studied the genetic variants of GDF8 and their contribution to body conformation traits in Chinese Dabieshan cattle. Methods: Single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) were identified in the bovine GDF8 gene by DNA sequencing. Phylogenetic analysis, motif analysis, and genetic diversity analysis were conducted using bioinformatics software. Association analysis between five SNPs, haplotype combinations, and body conformation traits was conducted in 380 individuals. Results: The GDF8 was highly conserved in seven species, and the GDF8 sequence of cattle was most similar to the sequences of sheep and goat based on the phylogenetic analysis. The motif analysis showed that there were 12 significant motifs in GDF8. Genetic diversity analysis indicated that the polymorphism information content of the five studied SNPs was within 0.25 to 0.5. Haplotype analysis revealed a total of 12 different haplotypes and those with a frequency of <0.05 were excluded. Linkage disequilibrium analysis showed a strong linkage (r2>0.330) between the following SNPs: g.5070C>A, g.5076T>C, and g.5148A>C. Association analysis indicated these five SNPs were associated with some of the body conformation traits (p<0.05), and the animals with haplotype combination H1H1 (-GGGG CCTTAA-) had greater wither height, hip height, heart girth, abdominal girth, and pin bone width than the other (p<0.05) Dabieshan cattle. Conclusion: Overall, our results indicate that the genetic variants of GDF8 affected the body conformation traits of Chinese Dabieshan cattle, and the GDF8 gene could make a strong candidate gene in Dabieshan cattle breeding programs.
In this study, the preference for Korean Kimchi by Chinese people in Shandong Province was evaluated. Specifically, this study was conducted to aid in the introduction of Kimchi to China by providing information and developing local types designed to meet regional taste preferences. The subjects were comprised of 298 Chinese (male 108, female 190) residents of Weihai, Yantai and Qingdao, in Shandong province, China. The subjects were provided with a self administered questionnaire form designed to evaluate their views on Korean Kimchi. The collected data were then analyzed using the SAS software package. The results revealed that 95.3% of the respondents were aware of Korean Kimchi. In addition, 100% of the respondents who had visited Korea and 98.1% of the respondents who had an interest in Korea were aware of Kimchi. With regard to the origins of their interest in Kimchi, 26.8% of the subjects answered 'through mass media', while 23.9% reported that they learned about Kimchi 'through friends'. Most subjects recognized Kimchi as a 'Korean traditional food' (92.6%), a 'delicious food' (53.2%), and a 'fermented food' (38.0%). Baechu Kimchi was found to be the most well-known Kimchi, followed by Kkakdugi, Oi Kimchi, Yoelmu Kimchi and Nabak Kimchi. Additionally, 69.1% of the subjects knew how it was prepared, most of whom reported that they learned how Kimchi was prepared through 'Korean movie and/or drama'. Moreover, 88.9% of the subjects had eaten Kimchi. Overall, 43.8% of the subjects reported that they ate Kimchi $1{\sim}2$ times per month, while 32.1% reported that they ate Kimchi $1{\sim}2$ time per year. The most common places that Kimchi was eaten were a 'Korean restaurant' (67.6%) or with a 'colleague' (32.8%). The primary reasons for not having eaten Kimchi were 'no knowledge or dislike of Kimchi by family' (30.3%), 'difficulty purchasing Kimchi' (21.2%), 'high priced Kimchi' (21.2%), and 'dislike the smell and shape of Kimchi' (12.1%).
This study analyzes and examines the travel behavior of Chinese people in Korea through a questionnaire survey of Chinese people who are long-term residents in Korea using Xiaohongshu App (RED). In this study, we add some variables to the MTEs (Memorable Tourism Experiences) model to analyze the travel behavior of Chinese people who are in Korea for a long period of time. We also chose to survey the users of Xiaohongshu App (RED), a popular software in recent years, and found the following findings in 240 valid questionnaires: (1) Scenery, Entertainment, and Informativeness have positive effects on people sharing travel experiences, while interaction does not. (2) Sharing travel experiences had a positive effect on travel satisfaction and the intention to go to other destinations, and travel satisfaction had a positive effect on the intention to go to other destinations. This paper extends the literature on tourism by combining MTEs and UGC (User-Generated Content) models, and also provides relevant suggestions for further research on the travel behavior of foreigners in Korea.

With the increasing amount of splicing images, many detection schemes of splicing images are proposed. In this paper, a splicing detection scheme for color image based on the quaternion discrete cosine transform (QDCT) is proposed. Firstly, the proposed quaternion Markov features are extracted in QDCT domain. Secondly, the proposed quaternion Markov features consist of global and local quaternion Markov, which utilize both magnitude and three phases to extract Markov features by using two different ways. In total, 2916-D features are extracted. Finally, the support vector machine (SVM) is used to detect the splicing images. In our experiments, the accuracy of the proposed scheme reaches 99.16% and 97.52% in CASIA TIDE v1.0 and CASIA TIDE v2.0, respectively, which exceeds that of the existing schemes.

Container technologies are widely used in infrastructures to deploy and manage applications in cloud computing environment. As containers are light-weight software, the cluster of cloud applications can easily scale up or down to provide Internet-based services. Container-based applications can well deal with fluctuate workloads by dynamically adjusting physical resources. Current works of scheduling applications often construct applications' performance models with collected historical training data, but these works with static models cannot self-adjust physical resources to meet the dynamic requirements of cloud computing. Thus, we propose a self-adaptive automatic container scheduling framework AutoScale for cloud applications, which uses a feedback-based approach to adjust physical resources by extending, contracting and migrating containers. First, a queue-based performance model for cloud applications is proposed to correlate performance and workloads. Second, a fuzzy Kalman filter is used to adjust the performance model's parameters to accurately predict applications' response time. Third, extension, contraction and migration strategies based on predicted response time are designed to schedule containers at runtime. Furthermore, we have implemented a framework AutoScale with container scheduling strategies. By comparing with current approaches in an experiment environment deployed with typical applications, we observe that AutoScale has advantages in predicting response time, and scheduling containers to guarantee that response time keeps stable in fluctuant workloads.
Marker-assisted gene pyramiding aims to produce individuals with superior economic traits according to the optimal breeding scheme which involves selecting a series of favorite target alleles after cross of base populations and pyramiding them into a single genotype. Inspired by the science of evolutionary computation, we used the metaphor of hill-climbing to model the dynamic behavior of gene pyramiding. In consideration of the traditional cross program of animals along with the features of animal segregating populations, four types of cross programs and two types of selection strategies for gene pyramiding are performed from a practical perspective. Two population cross for pyramiding two genes (denoted II), three population cascading cross for pyramiding three genes(denoted III), four population symmetry (denoted IIII-S) and cascading cross for pyramiding four genes (denoted IIII-C), and various schemes (denoted cross program-A-E) are designed for each cross program given different levels of initial favorite allele frequencies, base population sizes and trait heritabilities. The process of gene pyramiding breeding for various schemes are simulated and compared based on the population hamming distance, average superior genotype frequencies and average phenotypic values. By simulation, the results show that the larger base population size and the higher the initial favorite allele frequency the higher the efficiency of gene pyramiding. Parents cross order is shown to be the most important factor in a cascading cross, but has no significant influence on the symmetric cross. The results also show that genotypic selection strategy is superior to phenotypic selection in accelerating gene pyramiding. Moreover, the method and corresponding software was used to compare different cross schemes and selection strategies.
Purpose: Before COVID-19 pandemic, Chinese mid/low-priced hotel industry has been steadily growing in recent years, and internal and external competition has been intensifying. Under these circumstances, this study started with a strategic objective to increase the quality of service, thus enabling customer satisfaction and revisit intention. For enhancing the competitiveness of Chinese mid/low-priced hotel business, we plan to establish a model using SERVQUAL, O2O platform, and identify their relationship through empirical analyses. Research design, data and methodology: Through the consideration of the existing literature, this study intended to identify the characteristics of service quality in Chinese mid/low-priced hotels and to consider their impact on customer satisfaction and revisit intention. We also wanted to examine the moderating effect of the O2O platform between the characteristics of service quality and customer satisfaction. A survey was carried out on customers using mid/low-priced hotels in China and empirical analyses were conducted using regression analyses. Results: First, in the hypothesis of service qualities' effects on customer satisfaction were identified with significant positive effects. Second, in the hypothesis of service qualities' effects on revisit intention, "tangibles, reliability, and empathy" have shown significant positive. Third, in the verification of the moderating effect of the O2O platform, there were "positive partial moderating effects" between service qualities and customer satisfaction. Finally, the effect of customer satisfaction on revisit intention was positive significant. Conclusions: In order to satisfy their customers, improvements in service quality should be made first. In addition, customer satisfaction had a positive impact on revisit intention. In order to revitalize Chinese mid/low-priced hotels, differentiation strategy is also needed for specialized customers such as college students, and basically, efforts should be made to optimize the O2O platform. O2O platforms should establish optimal platform construction strategies based on the customer's perspective. After all, in the case of Chinese mid/low-priced hotels, it is necessary to strengthen the construction of the latest hardware infrastructure and O2O platform of software infrastructure, and to improve customers' advanced online and offline experiences. Finally, regarding the hypothesis that was rejected among service qualities' characteristics, we tried to discuss the reason and find the implications of these.
The purpose of this study is to verify the impact of government subsidies and technological innovation on the business performance of Chinese cultural industry enterprises. Therefore, this study takes 238 listed cultural industry enterprises in China from 2015 to 2020 as the object, collects 1175 samples, and uses Stata16 software for empirical analysis. The analysis results are as follows. First, government subsidies have a positive impact on the business performance of Chinese cultural industry enterprises. Second, government subsidies have a positive impact on the scientific and technological innovation of Chinese cultural industry enterprises. Third, scientific and technological innovation has a positive impact on the business performance of Chinese cultural industry enterprises. Fourth, scientific and technological innovation plays a partially mediating role in the relationship between government subsidies and business performance of Chinese cultural industry enterprises. Based on the research results, measures to improve the business performance of cultural industry companies are as follows. First, establish a modern cultural industry market system. Second, the government should expand financial and tax support for cultural industry companies. Third, promote the integration of cultural industries with scientific and technological innovation.

In this paper we purposes to analyze the motivation of mobile payment adopters. In this study, with unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT) model as the basis of research, we set up a structural equation model based on gender, age, experience and voluntary, collected data in the form of a questionnaire survey and analyzed drivers that affected mobile payers. In this study, The necessity of this paper is that the group of Korean students belongs to a special group with nearly 70,000 people. The penetration rate of mobile payment in China is 77%, ranking first in the world, but after the young people came to Korea. There are many obstacles and inconveniences when using mobile payment. We have proposed special subjects for special populations. the survey data were analyzed using SPSS22.0 and AMOS22.0 statistical software and the proposed model was modified. The results show that consumers' mobile payment is mainly motivated by social influence and performance expectancy. These results are of theoretical value and offer a new direction and implications to mobile payment developers. Besides, they also provide useful information and guidance for enterprises to aim at the market of Chinese oversea students in South Korea.
