  • The types of sixth industry to aim of boosting agriculture and rural areas and Korea's sixth industrial cases(Local community, production-centric, distribution-centric, dine out-centric, treatment-centric, export-centric) and competitiveness measures through Japan and China. Specifically, the competitiveness through the sixth industrial case is to maximize added value through cooperation between communities and to coexist among local residents. Efforts are needed not only to create jobs for the elderly but also to gain consumer confidence, and various measures should be sought to establish a cooperative system. In addition, as customers ' needs change rapidly in the smart age, the life cycle of goods and services is getting extremely faster. Therefore, the sixth industry is expected to be able to predict changes in customer and market trends quickly and accurately, thus making efforts to bring new products and services to market more necessary and contributing to achieving rural activation.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate and evaluate the characteristics of information consumption between rural and urban residents. In this study, the data were collected through a survey and in-depth interview consisting of 121 information consumption questions for the residents of 15 cities and rural areas located in Jilin Province, China, and 985 effective responses were analyzed using SPSS 23.0. Analysis of information consumption characteristics by age, type of household and gender for urban and rural residents showed that there was a large interaction between age and gender, age and type of household, type of household and gender. This study can contribute to narrowing the information service gap between urban and rural residents and utilizing the potential of information consumption. The study is limited to analyzing only residents of Jilin Province in China and needs to expand the scope of future investigations.

  • This study aims to deeply analyze the information consumption behavior structure of rural residents in Changchun, China. and further improve the information consumption level of rural residents. Questionnaire survey and statistical analysis were used in this study. First, Through in-depth interview and open questionnaire collection and compilation of measurement questions. Secondly, residents in 15 rural areas around Changchun were selected for the survey, Finally, SPSS23.0 was used for exploratory factor analysis of recovered data, and Mplus7.4 was used for confirmatory factor analysis. The results show that the structure of information consumption behavior of rural residents in Changchun includes three dimensions of information demand, information literacy and payment ability, which is corresponding to the previous studies on information consumption behavior structure's demand power, purchasing power and information quality. This study has certain empirical validity.

  • The movie <Yin Ru Chen Yan> is evaluated to reflect the rural reality of China's northwest region. Although the film also contained the farmer's unique sincerity and pure love, many problems were also raised. The specific issues raised are as follows. First, he accused young Chinese rural people who could not express their intention properly at the time of marriage. This can be said to be largely due to the lack of proper education, medical care, and welfare benefits for a long time. Second, he criticized the rural housing policy that deviated from reality. It warns that unilaterally providing apartments in the city without considering regional characteristics and farmers' situations could be counterproductive. In the movie, the main character abandoned livestock that he thought of and cared for with his family and did not move his residence to an apartment. Third, he criticized the materialism prevalent in rural areas. He criticized the phenomenon of not respecting a human being to solve everything with money and even to receive government housing compensation. In this sense, in order to solve the true Chinese Samnong problem, macro-promoted policies and micro-policies that can encompass some underdeveloped rural areas should also be implemented.

  • Against the backdrop of China's implementation of the "universal two-child" policy, the expansion of higher education, and the narrowing gender gap in the labor market and family status, we investigated the impact of the number of children on parental labor supply and occupational prestige scores using data from the China Family Panel Studies (CFPS) for 2016 and 2018. We found that the influence of children on the parental labor market shifted from labor supply to occupational prestige scores. Heterogeneity analysis reveals a more negative significant adverse impact of younger children on parental labor market performance compared with children over 7 years old. Compared to rural areas, parents in urban areas experience a more significant negative impact from an increase in the number of children. Extended families facilitate rural fathers' employment and leads to a decline in occupational prestige for urban parents.

In order to further achieve the goals of farmers' entrepreneurship, agricultural income increase, rural prosperity, and tourism management departments and tourism enterprises' management and operation objectives, this paper puts forward research hypotheses on the basis of relevant literature review and references. Based on the previous research results, this paper designs a questionnaire on Residents' rural tourism behavior intention, and uses SPSS23.0 to conduct correlation analysis and hypothesis test on the sample data, and draws the following conclusions: (1) rural tourism attitude, subjective norms, and perceived behavior control have a significant positive impact on rural tourism behavior intention; (2) policy system and resource conditions have a significant positive impact on rural tourism behavior intention; (3) policy system has a significant positive impact on subjective norms and perceived behavior control, and resource conditions have a significant positive impact on rural tourism attitude, subjective norms, and perceived behavior control.

  • The trapping efficacy of five commercially available sex pheromones manufactured in Korea, the Netherlands, North America, China, and Costa Rica was evaluated to determine the population dynamics of Spodoptera frugiperda and Mythimna loreyi and their relationships with the weather parameters of maize fields in Miryang, Gyeongnam Province, Korea in 2019. The results show that the sex pheromone manufactured in Costa Rica were more efficient at capturing S. frugiperda and M. loreyi than those manufactured in other countries. The lowest number of S. frugiperda moths were captured using sex pheromones manufactured in the Netherlands. We noted that more than four population peaks of both the moth species and weather parameters influenced the moth population dynamics in Miryang. A positive relationship was observed between the population of S. frugiperda and weather parameters, such as mean temperature, rainfall, and relative humidity, for sex pheromones manufactured in Korea. Furthermore, a positive relationship was recorded between the population of M. loreyi and wind speed for the sex pheromone manufactured in Korea. The results of this study suggest that the sex pheromones manufactured in Costa Rica are the best solution for the efficient capture of S. frugiperda and M. loreyi under typical weather conditions in the southern parts of Korea. In addition, the outcomes of this study are discussed in terms of population dynamics and integrated pest management for S. frugiperda and M. loreyi as alternatives to chemical management by maize producers. Further studies related to the continuous improvement in the capture efficiency of both moth species using sex pheromones are now needed.

  • Implementing a rural revitalization strategy will help spread traditional culture and promote the sustainable development of traditional handicrafts. Batik is a traditional handicraft made by residents in China's minority areas in their daily lives. This study was conducted because of a lack of objective methods for evaluating related project plans. This study was conducted to develop an index for the sustainable development of functional traditional batik production. This study had three major parts. The first part was a literature review that investigated sustainable and traditional batik dyeing and a field investigation carried out in Shitou Village, Danzhai County and Danzhai Paimo Village, Anshun, Guizhou to identify the factors that influence traditional batik production. The second part identified the factors identified in previous research that affect sustainable, traditional batik production and the projects executed to do the same. The third part was a survey conducted using the Delphi method. The results were analyzed, producing 10 influencing and 23 detailed factors that affect traditional batik production. Future research in this area should draw on various disciplines, investigate the direction in which traditional batik production is developing, and determine how to promote the sustainable development of other traditional handicrafts.
