The manufacture of children's wear is another part of the giant industry. However, the production of children's wear remains a small factory operation without scientific study. This study is aimed at establishing the normal sizes for slacks pattern making of 6∼8 years old children. The sample were classified into 5 groups of stature. The findings are as follows: 1) In analysis of stature group 110∼115cm to 130∼135cm there were almost significant differences of the mean values of all items. Comparison of physique shows even variation between stature group. 2) The correlation among all the parts of the body is strong in the case of the Stature. 3) The result of regression analysis is as follows. In slacks pattern making Back Waist Height and Slacks Length were exactly determined by Stature. Waist to Knee were exactly determined by Slacks Length.

With the popularity of Korean Wave, making cultural goods specific for Hallyu tourists is getting more important. However, there are mainly daily life goods using celebrity character-based ones. Remarkably, there are only a few cultural goods especially in practicality-based clothing category. In particular, few cultural goods related to children's wear have been developed. Therefore, if children's wear is developed as Korean Wave cultural goods considering Chinese consumers' pattern and Korean Wave cultural goods, it will be helpful for revitalizing the Korean Wave and Korea's fashion market. In this regard, the purpose of this study is to develop children's wear design as Korean Wave cultural goods, thereby presenting empirical research results and fulfilling its following objectives: First, it is to identify the concept of Korean Wave cultural goods, to analyze the current status to finally establish data to develop Korean Wave cultural goods needed at this time. Second, it is to make real-life size works through development of designs to provide the empirical data for Korean Wave cultural goods market. For the research method and contents the review of the previous research, in-depth interview for qualitative research, and empirical research using market research and development of work were performed. Through the final research outcomes, Korean Wave cultural goods, the children's wear that can meet the consumer's needs were presented as empirical data. The study can be used as basic data for domestic fashion market and cultural product market and it is meaningful as a reference for the analysis on the Chinese consumers' needs.
The purpose of this study is to suggest fundamental information about wearing method and production of brassiere, which is suitable for physiological hygiene and efficient action for elderly women. The subject is 418 elderly women aged 50∼69 years old. Data is processed by a computer(SAS) and is analyzed by using frequency, percentage, x²-test. The main results of this study are as follows. 1. Elderly women'weight and breast size are higher thant their younger counterparts'in their 20's, but the older and poorer women with more children have smaller weight and breast. Most of the elderly women feel that their breasts are drooped or falling apart. I fact, those elderly women who gave birth to more children have more drooped and wider breasts. The major type of elderly women'breast is the 'drooped breast' featured more by those elderly women who have more children. 2. Most of the elderly women began to wear the brassiere for the first time in their 20's the older women with more children began to wear the brassiere earlier, while those less educated and poorer began to protect their breasts with brassiere later. Many elderly women wear the brassiere to be protected from dirt, noise or look more neat, but day tend to wear the brassiere not all day around but at certain times, older, less educated and proper women with more children tend to use the brassiere for etiquette and less often. This group of elderly women feel tedious, stage or uncomfortable for the brassiere. 3. Most of the elderly women know about their brassiere size. Such variables as age, education and income are correlated positively with the interest in and consciousness of the brassiere size. All in all, the statistical distribution of elderly women's brassiere size is very wide, while most of them use 90A, 85A and 95A sizes. On the other hand, the most popular size of the under bust circumference is 85∼90cm, while their primary cup size is A.
The purpose of this study was to examine the toothbrush bristles' wear index and wear rate used by preschool children to provide information on the establishment of criteria for toothbrush replacement cycle for preschool children. One thousand twenty-two toothbrushes were collected from September 20 to November 16, 2012 was analyzed. The findings of the study were as follows: 1. As a result of analyzing the toothbrush wear index, 48.5% of the collected toothbrushes was above 0.400, and the average wear index was $0.421{\pm}0.239$. 2. As a result of analyzing the wear rate of the toothbrushes, score 2 and 3 accounted for 70.4%, and the average wear rate stood at $1.936{\pm}0.848$. 3. As a result of analyzing the state of toothbrush management, the most common average toothbrush replacement cycle was one or two months (63.9%). Concerning the method of toothbrush replacement, the largest group (52.7%) replied they changed toothbrushes based on the abrasivity of toothbrush bristles, and 16.7 percent did that at the request of parents. Given the above-mentioned findings of the study, preschool teachers and parents should be educated to ensure the successful management of preschool children toothbrushes. In addition, it's required to set evident criteria for the right toothbrush replacement cycle for preschool children, and how to provide oral health education in an efficient way should be considered as well.
The purpose of this study was to detect early children with hyperactivity which is one of the symptoms of Attention Deficit - Hyperactivity Disorder (:ADHD). For this Purpose, This study used two methods; K-CBCL and observation of children`s behavior. K-CBCL was done online by parents at home. For observation of children's behavior, the school asked children to wear a 3 - axis accelerometer on their wrists. The data from K - CBCL and 3 - axis accelerometer were analyzed and clustered to separate hypersensitive children from ordinary children.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of perceived risk, community usage motive, and price sensitivity of customers who purchase children's wear directly from overseas on customer satisfaction. Specifically, this study is aimed at verifying the moderating effect of price sensitivity when perceived risk and community usage motive significantly influence customer satisfaction. A survey was conducted among consumers who experienced directly purchasing children's wear from overseas and engaging in communities. A total of 415 questionnaires were distributed, which 41 responses were insincere and excluded; thus, 374 responses were analyzed. Results of this study are as follows. First, the analysis on how perceived risk and community usage motive influence customer satisfaction reveals the significant influence of economic and social psychological risk on customer satisfaction. Moreover, informational, recreational, and social emotional usage motive have a significant influence on customer satisfaction. Second, the effect of perceived risk and community usage motive on customer satisfaction based on different levels of price sensitivity was verified. As a result, delivery and economic risks affect customer satisfaction for consumers with high price sensitivity. Moreover, recreational usage motive has a significant influence on customer satisfaction for high price sensitive consumers. In conclusion, perceived risk negatively impacts customer satisfaction. Therefore, it is essential to provide a system that can reduce the perceived risk of consumers who purchase children's wear directly from overseas.
This study is designed to analyze the effects of demographic factors on children's wear brand preference and their reasons, and brand evaluations. A total of 355 usable data was collected from housewives in three metropolitan cities (Seoul, Daejeon, and Sungnam) in Korea. An ANOVA and crossing analysis were used to determine the strength(percentage) among several dependent variables. Also, regression analysis was used to examine the effects of demographic factors on each factor and component related to fashion brand evaluation. Overall, ANOVA and crossing analysis results showed that the visual attributions (variables) of clothing marked significantly higher scores than others (functional attributions). This result is noteworthy because it is opposite of common stereotypes and prejudices that selectors who first recognize visual information (aesthetic attributions) as a clothing buying criteria should be unsatisfied with them after wearing. Therefore, this research suggests that the chief reason in determining the outcome of success or failure in fashion industry depends on their trend productions with fashion image creation by reflecting the exclusive trends based on consumer's taste and wants.
Qualitative consumption is a trend in the children clothing market and watching TV of childcare-entertainment reality programs are becoming popular. This study examines the watching degree of childcare-entertainment reality TV programs of parent buyer (30s) and potential buyer (20s) and we investigate their shopping orientation of children wear. We did the survey research of 200 consumers with SPSS statistical analysis including the review of internet news, paper, and books on children wear shopping orientation. The results are following: first, the longer the watching time of childcare-entertainment reality TV programs, the higher shopping orientation, such as following the fashion of child stars, and the higher the watching preferences on childcare-entertainment reality programs, the greater shopping orientation in following childcare-entertainment reality programs star when they are purchasing children's clothing. Second, potential consumers as well as parent consumers were affected by watching the childcare-entertainment reality programs. Watching childcare-entertainment reality TV programs could give the impact when they were shopping children's clothing because they wanted to follow the fashion of childcare-entertainment reality programs TV star. Accordingly, the exposure of the childcare-entertainment reality programs for children clothing is found to be positive to the both current and future consumers.

The aim of this study is to examine the correlation between tooth wear and age by quantitatively measuring maxillary first molar wear in children. A total of 150 maxillary dental models were analyzed in 30 subjects (male, 11; female, 19) with an age range of 6-14 years. Maxillary first molar wear were assessed based on area, volume and the shortest distance from the buccal occlusal plane to the central pit point (BCPH). The area and volume of the tooth cusps were measured at four different offset-plane heights (0.2, 0.4, 0.6, and 0.8 mm). Relationship between age and the amount of wear or BCPH were statistically analyzed. Correlation and regression analyses were also performed, and age estimation was obtained with linear regression analysis. Repeated measures analysis of variance (ANOVA) revealed significant differences between age and the amount of wear based on area, volume, and offset-plane height. Except age of 8 and 10, 12 and 14's 0.2-mm offset-plane-measured volume, all area and volume measurement of all ages and offset-plane height showed a significant amount of increase. Wear speeds were calculated using the BCPH. Among age and measurement variables, the correlation coefficient was strongest when the volume was measured from the 0.4-mm offset-plane. As age increases, the amount of wear, as quantified by area and volume measurements, also increases. According to this study, a regression equation that can be used for age estimation is follows: Age $(y)=0.16{\times}0.4V+0.85$ ($R^2=0.490$) using volume.
The rapid development of science technology during the 20th century has greatly lowered the hours for labour, thus giving members of society extra time for leisure. With the increasement of leisure activities, sports casual wear has become one of the foremost leading items in the fashion industry, and among such sports casual, down wear has become the F/W season's most popular item. Because it generates high profits, many recognize it as a very important factor in lady's wear. Since the 1990's, down wear was widely applied to various sections of lady's, men's, and children's wear, and it has ceased to be limited to sports casual only. The purpose of this study was to fully understand the characteristics of down, and to develop crossover garments design desired not only in the F/W season but also the S/S season. It has been taken into consideration that many restrictions in sewing technique and material selection in manufacturing down as a fashion product exist when choosing a means of manufacture. That was why this study focused on the history and characteristics of down while analysing the works of domestic and foreign designers to concretely applicate them in fashion products. This study has divided the resulting down wear products according to consumer preference: vest, jacket, coat, one-piece, and skirt to applicate design manufacture of lady's wear in general, while designing and making artistically expressed down wear. There were 48 works developed as a result of this study, of which 41 were ready-to-wear, and the remaining 7 works were creative art wear.
