보육교사의 교사-영아 상호작용 평가 척도 개발 연구 (A Study on the Development of Interaction Scale between Teachers and Infants for childcare Teachers)

  • Interaction Scale between Teachers and Infants for childcare Teachers(ISTI) was constructed based on the research data completed by the Bradley, Caldwell & Corwyn's IT-CC-Home and kinds of Interaction Scales with a participation Infants childcare teachers and Child Studies professor, Child Studuies doctoral course students. The results of this study were; First, the study found that the 29 items of the ISTI were categorized into four factors by 205 Infants for childcare teachers: Involvement, Variety, Responsivity, Permission. Second, these factors exhibited a high correlation interactively. Third, the ISTI showed a high correlation with teachers' performance scale. Further ISTI is a vaild and reliable scale for the measurement of Interaction Scale between Teachers and Infants for childcare Teachers.

Moderating Effect of Childcare Teachers' Role Conflict on the Relationship Between Professionalism Perception and Teacher Efficacy: Focused on Teachers Having Children

  • The purpose of the study was to examine the moderating effect of childcare teachers' role conflict on the relationship between their professionalism perception and teaching. The subjects were 365 childcare teachers who had children. They were asked to complete the survey on professionalism perception, role conflict in women, and teacher efficacy along with their background information. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS version 24.0 software. Descriptive, Pearson's correlation analyses, and a hierarchical regression analysis were conducted. As results, first, the childcare teachers with high professionalism perception showed high teacher efficacy, and the childcare teachers with high role conflict showed low teacher efficacy. Second, there was the moderating effect of role conflict on the relationship between professionalism perception and teacher efficacy.

Factors Affecting the Safety Care Practice of Childcare Teachers

  • In this study, an attempt was made to provide basic data for the development of programs that can improve safety care practices in the future by identifying factors that influence childcare teachers' safety care practices. 134 childcare teachers participated, and the survey results were analyzed using SPSS WIN 21.0 statistical program. As a result of this study, there was a significant positive correlation between safety knowledge and attitude. There was no significant correlation with knowledge and safety care practices. It was found that safety attitude had a significant positive correlation with safety care practice.. The factor influencing safety care practice was attitude toward safety, and the explanatory power of the model was 46.1%. In order to improve the level of safety care practices of childcare teachers, a program that can be practically utilized through customized education tailored to the needs of childcare teachers and each field rather than simply imparting knowledge is absolutely essential.

X, M, Z 보육교사의 세대 및 직무 인식에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Generational and Job Perception of X, M, Z Generation Childcare Center Teacher)

  • Objective: This study examines the generational characteristics and job perceptions of early childhood teachers from Generations X, M, and Z. Methods: Seventeen teachers were selected based on their career and the types of childcare centers they worked in. Focus group interviews explored their job perceptions, teaching methods, career intentions, and strategies to attract future teachers. Results: The results revealed both positive and negative generational perceptions, with Generation X and M noted for diverse job experiences and Generation Z for digital skills. Individual differences were also observed. All generations reported low job satisfaction due to societal perceptions and environmental changes. Many teachers plan to change jobs. The study suggests utilizing generational strengths for peer support to enhance professional development. Conclusion/Implications: Furthermore, improvements in societal perception and treatment of childcare jobs are needed to attract future teachers. The findings suggest implications for enhanced intergenerational communication and collaboration in the childcare field.

2015학년도 어린이집 월별 정원충족률 변화 분석을 통한 월별 통계자료 제공 필요성 논의 (Monthly Enrollment Change of Childcare Centers in South Korea)

  • 본 연구에서는 공공데이터인 보육통합정보시스템의 자료를 활용하여 2015학년도에 지속적으로 운영된 어린이집 39,775개소(합동 관측사례 477,300개)의 월별 정원충족률 변화를 이원오차성분(혼합)모형으로 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 정원충족률은 2015년 3월 71.8%에서 2016년 1월 84.4%까지 꾸준히 상승하다가, 2016학년도를 앞둔 2016년 2월(50.3%)에만 일시적으로 급락하였다. 2015학년도 내에서도 3월과 이듬해 1월의 정원충족률은 12.5%p까지 차이가 났고, 1월과 2월의 정원충족률 차이는 32.2%p까지 벌어지는 것이다. 이는 각 년도 12월 말의 단일 시점에서의 어린이집 이용 현황만으로 작성되는 보건복지부 보육통계가 향후 월별 통계로 변경될 필요가 있다는 점을 시사한다. 또한, 어린이집 이용정도에 관한 월별 통계자료는 보육통합정보시스템의 공공데이터를 활용하여 구축 및 제공될 수 있을 것이다.

전주지역 유아기 어머니의 친환경 농산물 이용실태 및 보육시설에서의 친환경 급식 요구도 조사 (A Study on the Pattern of Consumption Behavior of Environmentally-friendly Agricultural Products by Housewives and an Assessment of the Need for Environmentally-friendly Agricultural Products in Childcare Centers in Jeonju)

  • The principal objective of this study was to evaluate the consumption behavior of housewives in the Jeonju area with respect to their use of environmentally-friendly agricultural products(EAPs) and to assess the need for EAPs in childcare centers also in the Jeonju area. Self-administered questionnaires were given to and collected from 278 housewives 42.4% of whom employed and 57.6% were unemployed. Statistical data analysis was performed on the data collected using SPSS v. 12.0. The average score of awareness about EAPs was $3.57{\pm}0.56$. The percentage of subjects who purchased EAPS was 76.3% regularly. On this group, 40.3% purchased EAPs 1~2 times in week. Unemployed housewives purchased more than employed housewives by a statistically significant margin(p<0.05). The most-purchased EAPs were vegetables. The average satisfaction score that housewives reported in relation to foodservice provided in childcare centers was $3.66{\pm}0.58$. About 65% of the respondents felt that the EAPs-foodservice in childcare centers was an important factor for them in choosing of a childcare centers. Approximately 42% of the housewives responded that EAPs-foodservice in childcare centers was needed to improve the safety of foodservice provided in chidcare centers. The percentage of subjects who wanted to expand EAPs-foodservice in childcare centers even though the parents would have to bear some of the financial burden was 42.5%. A higher proportion of employed housewives wanted to expand EAPs-foodservice in childcare centers more than unemployed housewives, and this finding was statistically significant(p<0.05).

어린이집 설치와 인가 기준의 변화 및 보육의 공공성 (The Changes of Childcare Center's Establishment and Licence Standards and Childcare Publicness)

  • 본 연구는 1991년 "영유아보육법" 제정 이후 20여 년간 우리나라의 어린이집 현황과 설치 및 인가 기준의 변화와 보육의 공공성에 대해 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 1991년부터 2013년까지의 어린이집 현황과 "영유아보육법"의 개정에 따른 어린이집의 설치기준에 대한 변화 경향을 입지조건, 유형 및 규모, 면적, 실내 외 설비, 놀이터, 기타로 구분하여 살펴보았으며, 그것의 인가기준에 대해 알아보았다. 이와 함께 보육의 공공성에 대한 개념과 기준을 정리하였다. 마지막으로 "영유아보육법"과 시행규칙에 나타난 어린이집의 설치기준과 인가 기준의 문제점을 제시하고, 향후 어린이집 설치 및 인가 제도의 개선과 공공성 확보를 위한 제안을 하였다. 이러한 기초자료 제공 및 관련 논의를 통해 본 연구는 우리나라 보육의 질을 제공하는데 기여하고자 한다.

부모의 미취학자녀 돌봄시간 관련요인 변화와 가족정책에의 함의 (Change in Factors Associated with Parental Time Spent on Care of Preschoolers and its Implication for Family Policy)

  • This study attempted to assess the durability of the trend in increasing childcare time and to get some clues based on research findings to make efficient policy interventions in case there is a need to continue or reverse course for such trend. In doing so, a total of 9,668 diaries from the 2004, 2009, and 2014 Korean Time Use Survey were analyzed targeting parents with a preschooler as their eldest child. Parental time was regressed on parents' weekly work hours, mother's relative income, parents' education and gender role attitudes. Furthermore, increase in parental childcare time was decomposed into parts that were attributable to differences in the means and slopes of associated factors. Analytic results revealed that; parents' weekly work hours were associated with time spent on childcare from 2004 to 2014; the negative relationship between mother's relative earnings and her childcare time in 2004 and 2009 was reversed to a positive one in 2014; parent's education had stronger positive effects on father's than on mother's childcare time; parents' gender role attitudes had a weak association with childcare time; social and cultural changes such as decrease in work hours, higher education, more egalitarian gender role attitudes, and rise in women's wages contributed to the increase in parental childcare time, but in a different way for mothers and fathers. By taking into account the social and cultural context behind the changes, this study is able to provide a more constructive implications for childcare policy in Korea.

우리나라 지역별 자녀 양육환경과 출산율에 관한 실증분석 (Childcare Facilities, Private Education Expenses, and Birth Rate: Evidence from Korean Regional Data)

  • 저출산 현상은 우리 사회가 당면한 가장 심각한 사회문제의 하나이다. 본 연구는 2009년 기준 우리나라 232개 시/군/구에 대한 횡단면 자료를 사용해 보육시설과 사교육비와 관련된 두가지 질문에 답하고자 한다. 첫 번째로, 본 연구는 각 지역별 보육시설/사교육시설의 사업체 수 또는 종사자 수가 해당지역의 출산율에 미친 영향을 분석한다. 두 번째로, 보육시설의 규모를 보육시설의 품질 또는 신뢰성을 평가하는 기준으로 설정하고 보육시설의 규모가 출산율에 미친 효과를 분석한다. 본 연구는 해당 지역의 사업체 당 종사자 수 평균값과 전체 보육시설 중 종사자 수가 10인 미만인 사업체가 점하는 비율로 보육시설의 규모를 측정한다. 본 연구의 분석결과에 따르면, 사업체 수나 종사자 수로 측정한 보육시설의 양적 규모는 출산율에 긍정적 영향을 미친 반면, 사교육시설로 측정한 사교육비 규모는 출산율에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치지 못했다. 또한 보육시설의 질적 측면, 즉 신뢰할 수 있는 보육시설의 존재가 출산율의 제고에 효과적일 수 있다는 점이 확인되었다. 본 연구의 분석결과는 출산율 제고를 위한 정책방안과 관련해 중요한 시사점을 제공한다.

보육교사의 공감능력 및 교수몰입이 행복감에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Childcare Teachers' Empathy Ability and teaching flow on Happiness)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 보육교사의 공감능력, 교수몰입, 행복감에 미치는 영향을 분석하는데 있다. 연구대상은 U시 보육교사 111명을 대상으로 실시하였다. 분석방법은 SPSS 22.0 프로그램을 사용하여 빈도분석, 신뢰도분석, 상관관계분석을 실시하였으며, 변수 간의 인과관계에 대한 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 보육교사의 공감능력이 행복감에 미치는 하위요인인 인지적 공감 요인은 행복감에 긍정적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 반면, 교사의 공감능력의 하위요인인 정서적 공감 요인은 행복감에 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 보육교사의 교수몰입이 행복감에 미치는 영향을 살펴본 결과 교수몰입 요인은 행복감에 긍정적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 보육교사의 공감능력 하위요인인 인지적 공감 요인이 높을수록 행복감이 높아지며, 교수몰입 요인이 높을수록 행복감이 높아진다는 것을 의미하는 것이다. 본 연구의 시사점은 보육교사의 공감능력, 교수몰입, 행복감과의 관계를 파악함으로써 보육교사들의 행복감 향상을 위한 방안 마련의 기초자료가 될 것으로 사료된다.
