Objective: This study is to examine the associations between fathers' values and future expectations on children and their self-evaluated equivalence to their spouses in child rearing practices. Methods: The data were from 997 fathers with young children who participated in the Panel Study of Korean Children (2013). The associations between variables were analyzed with frequency, correlations and hierarchical analysis using SPSS 20 Program. Results: Fathers with emotional values on children or future expectations focused on their children's happiness and altruism are more willing to share child raring practices with their partners. In contrast, fathers with expectation focused on future financial success of their children are less willing to share parenting with their partners. Conclusion/Implications: Fathers' values and future expectations for their children are meaningful predictors of shared parenting in married couples with young children. However, the directions of associations differ based on which types of values and future exportations fathers have regarding their children.

There were statistically significant differences in career preparation behavior according to school years. The first year students' perception in of career preparation behavior was higher than the second, and third year students. The first year students' perception in of career preparation behavior was higher than second, and third year students. Objective: This study aimed to examine the effects of attachment and shared time between mother and child and self-esteem on subjective well-being in late childhood. Methods: A total of 329 fifth and sixth graders in elementary school (183 boys and 146 girls) participated in the study. They responded to questionnaires regarding attachment and shared time between mother and child and the self-esteem and subjective well-being of children. The data were analyzed using SEM. Results: Attachment and shared time between mother and child had an indirect effect through self-esteem as well as a direct effect on the subjective well-being of children. Children who formed secure attachments and spent more time with their mothers showed a higher level of subjective well-being. In addition, when children kept a good relationship with their mother quantitatively as well as qualitatively, they acknowledged their own capability and value positively, which led to higher subjective well-being. Conclusion: Findings emphasize that mother-child relationships play significant roles in predicting both the subjective well-being and self-esteem of children. The importance of self-esteem was identified in late childhood based on its relative influence on subjective well-being compared to mother-child relationships.
This study investigated relationships between primary caregivers' life satisfaction and abuse mediated by children's life satisfaction. We included term panel data for 3 years (2013-2015) from the 4th year to the 6th year of 2,067 children in the first grade of elementary school of the Korean Youth and Youth Panel(KCYPS)(2015); in addition, three years' longitudinal panel data (2013-2015) were analyzed utilizing SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 22.0 to measure Latent Growth Model(LGM) term relationships between variables. Analysis results were as follows. First, the life satisfaction of the primary caregiver, the life satisfaction of the child, and abuse gradually decreased from the fourth grade to the sixth grade. Second, the initial status of primary caregivers' life satisfaction influenced the initial status of the children's life satisfaction, and the initial status and change in the abuse rate. Third, the rate of change of life satisfaction of the primary caregiver did not have a significant effect on the change in the abuse rate and the rate of change of life satisfaction of the child. The initial value of the life satisfaction of the child played a partial mediating role in the relationship between the initial value of the life satisfaction of the primary caregiver, initial value of the abuse, and abuse change rate. The results suggest that a program to improve the life satisfaction of the 4th grade elementary school should be developed and applied.
The purpose of this study was to explore the various aspects of the fatigue in the mothers of infants and toddlers in descriptive study. Three hundred eighty mothers who visited the public primary health care center in subrural area were enrolled from October, 2001 to June, 2002. Data were collected using a questionnaire titled 'Symptom Table on Fatigue Perception' designed by the Fatigue Research Committee of Japan, consisted of a total 30 items categorized into three subdimensions: the physical, the psychological and the neuro-sensory. SPSS was used for the analysis of data with 0.05 of significance. The results were as follows: 1. The mean average fatigue score of subjects was 1.81(SD:.41): the physical fatigue revealed the highest value with a mean of 1.92(SD:.50), followed by psychological fatigue with a mean score of 1.79(SD:.48), neuro- sensory fatigue with a mean of 1.72(SD:.44). 2. With the respect to the general characteristics of subjects, there were statistically significant differences in the mothers' fatigue perception by with or without a job or not(t=2.213, p=.028), the number of children(t=-2.157, p=.032), the degree of spouse support in domestic households(F=3.315, p=.045), the degree of spouse support in the care of children(F=12.616, p=.000), and the amount of sleeping time(t=.130, p=.000). These results suggest that health care professional need to be aware of the persistent presence of the maternal fatigue related to the child rearing and the factors worsen the degree of the fatigue.
The purpose of this study was to determine whether public services in rural areas performed the functions of public interest value that benefited all residents of rural areas. Therefore, the results were derived through spatial distribution and population characteristics analysis at the level of basic living service facilities. As a result, the status of spatial distribution in the Favorable and Vulnerable areas of rural villages and the status of population distribution in the vulnerable areas was analyzed for retail, child care and medical facilities. In the case of retail facilities, it was found that more than 80.0% of the country's farming villages were distributed in the favorable areas that could be reached within 15 minutes. In the case of child care facilities, 91.5% of the total number of favorable areas could be reached within 15 minutes, and the distribution of child care facilities nationwide was deemed proper. In the case of medical facilities, 90.8% or more villages could be reached within 15 minutes of travel time as a lawmaker, and in the case of hospitals and emergency medical services, 92.7% of hospitals and 68.2% of emergency medical services were analyzed as favorable areas. Through these results, the government intends to establish objective spatial data in rural areas to provide basic information on policy directions and contribute to planning.

Third, meaningful differences in childrearing attitudes were found according to mother's place of growth, educational level, and her employment status. Finally, traditional distinction between sexes and sex-role division in childrearing seemed to have weakened to some extent, which was particularly among mothers with higher educational level or residing in big cities.
The purpose of this study was the development of a scale to assess maternal anxiety after mother-child separation. Subjects consisted of 384 mothers who had children from 6 to .36 months of age. A questionnaire consisting of eighty Likert-type items and Spielberger's(1970) State Anxiety Scale were administered to mothers and data were analyzed using item analysis. factor analysis. multiple regression. Cronbach's ${\alpha}$. Pearson's correlation and F-test. Sixty of the eighty items were significant and deemed acceptible through item discrimination method with indices ranging from. 32 to .95. Factor analytic procedures have selected 54 items of the 60-item scale and supported a 5-factor solution. The subscales labeled 'Maternal Separation Anxiety'. 'Perception of Separation Effects on the Child', 'Desire for Physical Cuddling and Closeness'. 'Attitudes toward the Value or Importance of Exclusive Maternal Care' and 'Employment-related Separation Concerns,' Finally. a multiple regression analysis conducted to reduce the length of the scale yielded a 39-item form for the Maternal Separation Anxiety Scale(MSAS). Internal consistency of the MSAS was high(Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ =.85). The correlation of the MSAS with the Spielberger's State Anxiety measure yielded a coefficient of .36, revealing a moderate and positive relationship.

The research questions were as follows: First, what are the types of turnover intention among early childhood teachers?. Second, what are the characteristics of the types of turnover intention among early childhood teachers?. Method: This study has adopted the Q methodology as a method. first, open surveys were conducted among 101 early childhood teachers and principals who work at kindergartens or child care centers along with literature research, followed by the establishment of Q samples(48 questions). Second, the Q sample was classified among the P sample and was comprised of 90 participants. Ninety early childhood teachers as P sample sorted the 48 Q statements.
