We are now doing research for the drawing check of local parts in mechanical drawing made by a CAD system. It needs the recognition of drawing elements with respect to the local parts. Because, we usually abbreviate the dimensioning in the mutually related drawing elements. This paper is concerned with a computer aided supporting system to the dimension check and recognition of local parts in mechanical drawings. This sytem has been applied to some examples and we have confirmed the feasibility of this checking method.

The construction industry consists of various and massive architectural information as an architectural process includes a variety of design stages with cooperation of many disciplines. Particularly, architectural information is generated and managed through the life cycle of a building, from conceptual design stage to the construction and maintenance. A Building Information Model (BIM) serves as a shared knowledge resource for information about a facility forming a reliable basis for decisions during its life-cycle from inception onward. BIM technology accomplished quantitative development being utilized in various disciplines. However, it is necessary to develop environment and requirement for qualitative improvement of BIM based project. Particularly, requirement is very important for architectural design evaluations. The purpose of this study is to develop and apply of quality control check-list for improving the quality of architectural design in BIM environments. To achieve this purpose, the authors have investigated case study for open BIM data quality control (software, guideline and application case) and classified quality control targets according to physical/logical quality control and data quality. In addition, the authors have defined open BIM based quality control process and developed quality control check-list. Finally, the authors have developed automatic quality check system using requirements for efficient quality control based on open BIM.

Chuy$\check{o}$k and Naeky$\check{o}$ng which are the foundations for oriental philosophy and oriental medicine respectively have had a great influence on Oriental ideas for several thou s and years. On this study is focused on the comparative study about the two. And the results are as follows; 1. Chuy$\check{o}$k and Naeky$\check{o}$ng agree with respect to the relationship between Nature and Man, They both insist that everything should come into being through collaboration between Heaven and Earth and that Man is the noblest among them. 2. Though Chuy$\check{o}$k and Naeky$\check{o}$ng agree in regard to the authority of Man's nobility, the one stands on the opinion that Man is noble because of 'Tao'(道), while the other maintains that Man is precious because he is created and changed according to the principle of the Universe. 3. There is a slight difference between Chuy$\check{o}$k and Naeky$\check{o}$ng in the principle of Yin and Yang, and the live elements of the Chinese cosmogony. Chuy$\check{o}$k explains the change and development of everything on the basis of the principle of Yin and Yang, and make no concrete mention of the five elements of the Chinese cosmogony. While Naeky$\check{o}$ng applys the principle of Yin and Yang and the five elements of the Chinese cosmogony to the human body. 4. Though Chuy$\check{o}$k contains little knowledge of the inside of the human body in the anatomical matters, it includes some informations of the outside of the human body. But the basic physiological informations had already existed at the time. 5. Regarding the way of life cultivation. Chuy$\check{o}$k and Naeky$\check{o}$ng concurs. The two books advise to avoid unsuitable meal, overdrinking, inappropriate residence and so forth for the sake of good health. They make much of the mental harmony and maintain the accommodation to the change of Nature to keep a sound mind and body.

In this paper, the modified iterative decoding algorithm[8] by partitioning check nodes is applied to low-density parity-check(LDPC) codes in IEEE 802.16e standards, which gives us the improvement for convergence speed of decoding. Also, the new method of check node partitioning which is suitable for decoding of the LDPC codes in IEEE 802.16e system is proposed. The improvement of convergence speed in decoding reduces the number of iterations and thus the computational complexity of the decoder. The decoding method by partitioning check nodes can be applied to the LDPC codes whose decoder cannot be implemented in the fully parallel processing as an efficient sequential processing method. The modified iterative decoding method of LDPC codes using the proposed check node partitioning method can be used to implement the practical decoder in the wireless communication systems.

This paper argues that John Leguizamo disguises ethical intention with humor in his one-person show, Freak. The argument proceeds in three stages. First, on the basis of Slavoj ${\check{Z}}i{\check{z}}ek^{\prime}s$ theory that fantasies teach us how to desire discussed in The Sublime Object of Ideology, I analyze how and why Leguizamo exaggerates and thus de-constructs the ideological fantasies about Latin Americans in Freak. Through this analysis the ridiculous exaggeration of the fantasies and their deconstruction emerges as the means to surface the trauma caused by the fantasies, internally and externally curing and reconciling the audience. Second, I apply ${\check{Z}}i{\check{z}}ek^{\prime}s$ theory of the quilting point introduced in Looking Awry: An Introduction to Jacques Lacan through Popular Culture to reveal how "blots" in Freak form "black holes" in the audience's consciousness to smash their established view of the reality, inducing them to encounter with "the real." The investigation into Leguizamo's use of humor as the quilting point illuminates how he invites the audience to look awry beyond the popular fantasy at "the real" America. Third, on the ground of Emmanuel Levinas's theory that theaters are the space of ethics, namely "ethotopos" to emphasize responsible actions discussed in "Ethics as First Philosophy," I assert that Leguizamo disguises his ethical message with humor so as for the audience to recognize their responsibility for others in America and take action towards change.

In this study, we studied failure cause of check valve through analysing characteristic of it used in turbo compressor. We researched how to improve to reduce chaterring occurrence which is cause of main failure mode and suggested how to improve reliability of check valve through it.

This paper examines the effects of spring characteristics and stiffness in relation to the characteristics of hydrodynamic force. Spring forces and stiffness determine the performance of this type of pan check valve and have an effect on the overall operation. The hydraulic efficiency of the pan check valve is relatively low compared to that of a common check valve. However, a pan check valve is structurally more stable than a common check valve. We implemented the optimum design to increase the flow rate and to resolve the suppression of the pressure drop according to the extent of the compression of the spring. From the results of a flow analysis, we demonstrate spring stiffness design criteria depending on the extent of the compression of the spring of pan check valve acting on the fluid at the inlet 1 MPa pressure.

This paper is to examine how Joseon intellectuals understood $g{\check{u}}$(古) and $j{\bar{i}}n$(今) and how its history consequently changed. It is to take a macroscopic view focusing on differences of different schools. Understanding of '$g{\check{u}}$' and '$j{\bar{i}}n$' directly and indirectly affected academia, art and even politics throughout Joseon dynasty. As different scholars and schools distinctively understood $g{\check{u}}$ and $j{\bar{i}}n$, issues of tradition and creation; conservatism and progressivism and; ideal and reality were deeply discussed. Those discussions greatly and historically contributed to making changes in politics and society as well. A cultural tradition of emphasizing '$g{\check{u}}$' took a deep root in overall Joseon society. Meanwhile, understanding of '$j{\bar{i}}n$(今)' or '$x{\bar{i}}n$(新)' was required with changes of times. as When people thought the reality is confusing or corrupt, they adopted restoration(復古) which means to go back to basis as the slogan. Awareness in $g{\check{u}}$ and $j{\bar{i}}n$ served as a drive to change the society. However, they never lifted their voices for '$j{\bar{i}}n$' or '$x{\bar{i}}n$,' abandoning '$g{\check{u}}$'. Criticism on '$g{\check{u}}$' was merely for criticizing being bound by '$g{\check{u}}$,' not targeting '$g{\check{u}}$' itself. '$J{\bar{i}}n$' actually was a dependent variable of '$g{\check{u}}$.' It is a dichotomous view to consider '$g{\check{u}}$' as conservatism and '$j{\bar{i}}n$' as progressivism.

In this letter, a parity check based iterative IC scheme is proposed for LDPC coded MIMO systems. After the decoding procedures in each iteration of the proposed scheme, each decoded codeword is utilized for the IC procedures only when the ratio of the check nodes satisfying the parity check equations to the total number of check nodes is not smaller than the pre-defined threshold value. Simulation results verify that the proposed scheme can achieve an improved BLER at the high SNR region compared to the conventional iterative IC scheme.

An experiment setup was introduced to study dynamic behaviour of different types of check valves and the effects of air entrainment on the check valve performance under pressure transient condition. The experiment results show that the check valves with low inertia, assisted by springs or small traveling distance/angle gave better performance under pressure transient condition than check valves without these features. Air entrainment was found to affect both wave speed and reverse velocity. With the increase of the initial air void fraction in pipeline, the experiment results show that the wave speed was reduced, the reverse velocity was increased. The first peak pressure increased initially and then decreased with the increase of the initial air void fraction, the pressure surge periods were increased proportionally with air void fraction due to the greatly reduced wave speed. The study can be applied to help choosing suitable check valves for a particular pumping system.
