자동차용 모바일 폰 충전 케이블의 발화 안전성에 관한 연구 (A Study on safety against a fire of charging cable for mobile phone for vehicle)

  • This paper describes result of a study on safety against a fire of charging cable for mobile phone for vehicle. Combustion on the USB cable in the car was happened while driving. Gas coming from the burning USB cable could be a reason which can make a secondary car accident since the driver also can be embarrassed while driving. In order to prevent a secondary car accident connected on the road, to research a reason why USB cable can emit gas and be burned in charging. We did simulation test with abnormal fault condition for the electronic component on the board in the USB cable. So we get the result from abnormal fault condition simulation test, for instance, shorted test for output terminal of 8 pin switch, shorted test for chip resistor after thermal aging in the condition $25^{\circ}C$, 93 % RH during 48 hours. To analysis the result of all test, Combustion on the USB cable was not the 8 pin but other electrical component such as a chip resistor. Therefore we guess that the reason for USB cable combustion in charging in a car was not 8 pin and a LED but another defective component.

  • The ethylene-propylene (EP) rubbers mixed with one to one ratio is used as an insulation material in the nuclear power plant. It was investigated the effect of the amount of reinforcing agent. moisture absorption and heat treatment on the Ethylene-Propylene(EP) rubbers. The level of degradation was measured by the amount of discharging and. charging currents. When $\gamma$ rays were radiated on the EP rubbers with more charging material, the amount of discharging and charging currents was depended on the amount of reinforcing agent It was verified that the discharging and charging currents irradiated by $\gamma$ rays were higher than those that was not irradiated.

Force monitoring of Galfan cables in a long-span cable-truss string-support system based on the magnetic flux method

  • Magnetic flux sensors are commonly used in monitoring the cable force, but the application of the sensors in large diameter non-closed Galfan cables, as those adopted in Yueqing Gymnasium which is located in Yueqing City, Zhejiang Province, China and is the largest span hybrid space structure in the world, is seldom done in engineering. Based on the construction of Yueqing Gymnasium, this paper studies the cable tension monitoring using the magnetic flux method across two stages, namely, the pre-calibration stage before the cable leaves the rigging factory and the field tension formation stage of the cable system. In the pre-calibration stage in the cable factory, a series of 1:1 full-scale comparative tests were carried out to study the feasibility and relability of this kind of monitoring method, and the influence on the monitoring results of charging and discharging voltage, sensor location, cable diameter and fitting method were also studied. Some meaningful conclusions were obtained. On this basis, the real-time cable tension monitoring system of the structure based on the magnetic flux method is established. During the construction process, the monitoring results of the cables are in good agreement with the data of the on-site pressure gauge.The work of this paper will provide a useful reference for cable force monitoring in the construction process of long-span spatial structures.

전철 지중배전선로의 충전전류보상에 관한 연구 (A Study of the Charging Current Effect on Underground Distribution Line in Electric Railway)

  • Because on the high-tension underground distribution line of an electric railway high voltage XLPE Cable two or three circuits between railway stations with a standard as receiving transformer facilities are established at a $30km{\sim}50km$ interval, reactive power in which the phase of a current is larger than that of a voltage is supplied when trains are not working, so when there are no loading or low loading as night. Due to the long-distance trend of the underground distribution system on an alternating current railway distribution line, the terminal voltage of a transformer is over the standard voltage, and after all, commercial cycle overvoltage is continued. To solve this problem, the shunt reactor is installed in middle of power distribution lines to maintain receiver voltage meted under the allowance regulation through control of the reactive power. Also, in case that the thickness of single cable is over $60mm^2$ and length of line is about over 30km, a circuit breaker is broken by shorting shunt ability of charging current in excess of shunt current(31.5A.rms). Therefore, this thesis presents installing the location of shunt reactor for quantitative analysis by using optimum algorism for compensation and control of the charging current.

부분적으로 $^{60}Co-{\gamma}$선 조사된 EPR 케이블의 절연열화 특성에 관한 연구 (Electrical Degradation Properties of EPR Cable Partially Irradiated by $^{60}Co-{\gamma}$ Rays)

  • 이 논문은 원자력발전소에서 사용되고 있는 부분적으로 방사선 조사된 EPR 전력 케이블의 방사선 절연열화 진단을 행하기 위해서 전기특성을 조사한 것이다. 본 연구에서는 방사선 조사량을 100Mrad부터 200Mrad까지 증가시킨 케이블 시료를 열화비율에 따른 방사선 조사량에 의한 충전전류 및 방전전류를 측정한 결과 $4.3{\times}10^{-9}$(A)로부터 $1.03{\times}10^{-7}$(A)로 증가함을 알 수 있었다. 또한 100% 일때의 충전전류 및 방전전류를 50%, 16.7% 일때를 비교하면 후자의 케이블은 열화된 부분의 길이가 1/2, 1/6로 되므로 충전전류 및 방전전류로 1/2, 1/6로 흐름을 알 수 있었다. 열화하지 않은 22m와 66m의 케이블을 조사한 결과 66m의 케이블 시료쪽이 충전전류 및 방전전류 값이 22m 케이블보다 3배나 크다는 것을 확인했다. 이들 결과로부터 방사선을 조사한 EPR 케이블의 절연열화 진단법으로 충전전류 및 방전전류를 측정하는 것이 가능하다는 것을 확인했다.

  • We must consider resistance capacitance and their circuit connection condition for cable charging current test by IEC60265-1. According to their values and circuits, the ratio of applied voltage and transient recovery voltage are much different. This paper is convinced of TRV waves and proposes the optical circuit required at the standard via the simulation of all circuit conditions.

  • 스마트폰 도입 이후로 공용으로 사용할 수 있는 충전 케이블 인프라 도입이 진행 중이다. 이로 인해, 사람들은 공용 케이블을 의심 없이 편하게 이용하지만, 공용 케이블의 위험성에 대해서는 대부분 인지하지 못하고 있다. 이러한 공용 케이블은 해킹 케이블의 발전으로 개인 정보 노출 등의 침해 사고가 일어날 수 있고, 최악의 경우에는 해커가 스마트폰, 노트북 등을 장악할 수 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 일반적인 충전 케이블처럼 보이지만, 내부에 악성 스크립트 또는 하드웨어가 포함된 해킹 케이블의 동작 원리와 공격 원리를 분석하였다. 또한, 분석 내용을 바탕으로 물리적, 논리적 대응 방안을 고찰해본다.

  • Ramp-rate limitation is a serious obstacle for successful operation of fast charging and discharging magnet Ramp-rate limitation is hard to expect or fully investigate due to its electric and thermo-hydraulics couplings.   • 이 논문은 LS전선, 서울 메트로, 철도기술연구원(KRRI)이 공동으로 연구한 '도시철도 연계 EV 충전 시스템' 프로젝트와 LS전선, 환경공단이 공동 개발한 '전기 자동차 충전 인프라 구축 사업'을 바탕으로 내용을 구성 하였다. 전기 자동차 충전 인프라 시스템 구축은 크게 3가지 이슈 -전력 연계, 충전 시설, 충전기 운영 통신 시스템-가 있다. 전기 자동차 충전 시스템을 철도 전력 인프라망을 연계했을 때 얻을 수 있는 이점들, 충전 인프라 운영 시스템에 대한 실증 내용을 논하였으며 추가적으로 향후 계획도 포함되어 있다.

  • This paper describes switching surge analysis for reclosing decision in 345kV combined transmission line with GIL. Reclosing operation should be decided based on the detailed technical analysis in combined transmission line because this line includes power cable section which is week on insulation. Insulation of power cable can be breakdown at the week point in case of reclosing moment. Therefore the detailed analysis has to be carried out by considering several conditions such as charging rate, inserting resistance, arrester, length ratio of power cable section, grounding resistance, etc. Analysis is performed by EMTP/ATP.
