펄스형 Nd:YAG 레이저의 교번 충.방전 방식에 의한 고반복 동작특성 (The high repetition operating characteristics of pulsed Nd:YAG laser by alternating charge-discharge system)

  • Pulsed Nd:YAC laser is used widely for materials processing and instrumentation. It is very important to control the laser energy density in materials processing by a pulsed Nd:YAG laser. A pulse repetition rate and a pulse width are regarded as the most dominant factors to control the energy density of laser beam. In this study, the alternating charge-discharge system was designed to adjust a pulse repetition rate. This system is controlled by one chip microprocessor and allows to replace an expensive condenser for high frequency to a cheap condenser for low frequency. In addition. we have investigated the current pulse shape of flashlamp and the operating characteristics of a pulsed Nd:YAG laser. As a result, it is found that the laser output of the power supply using the alternating charge-discharge system is not less than that of typical power supply. As the pulse repetition rate rises from 30pps to 120pps by the step of 30pps at 1200V, it is found that the laser efficiency decreases but the laser output power increases about 6W at each step.

리튬이온전지 음극의 고속 성능 향상을 위한 도전재 복합화 (Composited Conductive Materials for Enhancing the Ultrafast Performance for Anode in Lithium-Ion Battery)

  • Lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) are powerful energy storage devices with several advantages, including high energy density, large voltage window, high cycling stability, and eco-friendliness. However, demand for ultrafast charge/discharge performance is increasing, and many improvements are needed in the electrode which contains the carbon-based active material. Among LIB electrode components, the conductive additive plays an important role, connecting the active materials and enhancing charge transfer within the electrode. This impacts electrical and ionic conductivity, electrical resistance, and the density of the electrode. Therefore, to increase ultrafast cycling performance by enhancing the electrical conductivity and density of the electrode, we complexed Ketjen black and graphene and applied conductive agents. This electrode, with the composite conductive additives, exhibited high electrical conductivity (12.11 S/cm), excellent high-rate performance (28.6 mAh/g at current density of 3,000 mA/g), and great long-term cycling stability at high current density (88.7 % after 500 cycles at current density of 3,000 mA/g). This excellent high-rate performance with cycling stability is attributed to the increased electrical conductivity, due to the increased amount of graphene, which has high intrinsic electrical conductivity, and the high density of the electrode.

  • 리튬 망간 산화물 박막의 고율 방전 특성을 향상시키기 위하여 사진 식각 법을 이용하여 미세 패턴된 양극 박막을 제조하였다. 방전 전류 밀도를 달리하여 측정한 결과, 리튬 이온의 intercalations kinetic레 관계하는 전하 전달 저항 값이 감소하게 되어 고율 방전 특성이 향상되었다.

  • Recently, in energy storage system, the EDLC is paid attention as a new environmentally friendly energy storage element. This capacitor has higher energy density than the electrolytic capacitor. Also, this capacitor has a lot of advantage such as no maintenance, longer life cycle and faster charge-discharge time than the battery system. But the EDLC must have a each charge-discharge controller to effectively control, an energy design method circuit to use effectively energy, and several compensation techniques to control a optimal operating. In this respect, this study suggests major parameters to effectively represent the characteristics of EDLC, the measurement methods of those parameters have been investigated with experiments, and the interpretation about the buck/boost DC/DC converter for the operation of EDLC.

3D Hierarchical Flower-Like Cobalt Ferrite Nanoclusters-Decorated Cotton Carbon Fiber anode with Improved Lithium Storage Performance

  • The inverse spinel Cobalt ferrite (CoFe2O4, CFO) is considered to be a promising alternative to commercial graphite anodes for lithium ion batteries (LIBs). However, the further development of CFO is limited by its unstable structure during battery cycling and low electrical conductivity. In an effort to address the challenge, we construct three-dimensional hierarchical flower-like CFO nanoclusters (CFO NCs)-decorated carbonized cotton carbon fiber (CFO NCs/CCF) composite. This structure is consisted of microfibers and nanoflower cluster composited of CFO nanoparticle, in which CCF can be used as a long-range conductive matrix, while flower-like CFO NCs can provide abundant active sites, large electrode/electrolyte interface, short lithium ion diffusion path, and alleviated structural stress. As anode materials in LIBs, the flower-like CFO NCs/CCF exhibits excellent electrochemical performance. After 100 cycles at a current density of 0.3 A g-1, the CFO NCs/CCF delivers a discharge/charge capacity of 1008/990 mAh g-1. Even at a high current density of 15 A g-1, it still maintains a charge/discharge capacity of 362/361 mAh g-1.

  • Me performed an experiment about preionization electron number density of charge transfer type KrF excimer laser. At the total pressure of 1.8 and 2.2 atm with helium (He) buffer gas, the experimental range of the electron number density is 8-9 ${\times}$ 10 cm The distance between electrode and preionization pin is 15 mJ at charging voltage of 27kV,gas pressure of 2.2 atm,gas mixture of F /Kr/He = 0.3/396.7(%).

Space Charge Behavior of Oil-Impregnated Paper Insulation Aging at AC-DC Combined Voltages

  • The space charge behaviors of oil-paper insulation affect the stability and security of oil-filled converter transformers of traditional and new energies. This paper presents the results of the electrical aging of oil-impregnated paper under AC-DC combined voltages by the pulsed electro-acoustic technique. Data mining and feature extractions were performed on the influence of electrical aging on charge dynamics based on the experiment results in the first stage. Characteristic parameters such as total charge injection and apparent charge mobility were calculated. The influences of electrical aging on the trap energy distribution of an oil-paper insulation system were analyzed and discussed. Longer electrical aging time would increase the depth and energy density of charge trap, which decelerates the apparent charge mobility and increases the probability of hot electron formation. This mechanism would accelerate damage to the cellulose and the formation of discharge channels, enhance the acceleration of the electric field distortion, and shorten insulation lifetime under AC-DC combined voltages.

  • The battery industries have been developed to the implementation of lithium ion secondary cell from the cell of Ni/Cd and Ni/MH in the past to be asked of an age of high technology from low technology. Also in resent the polymeric cell to get a good high function with an age of new advanced information system is changed from the 21 century to the secondary batteries society. The properties of lithium secondary batteries have the high energy density, the long cycle time, the low self discharge area and the high active voltage. The wanted properties of secondary batteries for the motion of an apparatuses of industries of an high skill age have a small type trend of the energy density and it is become with a strong asking of the industrial society market about the storable medium of the convenience and new power energy. The electrochemical properties is researched for the cell to be synthesised and crystallized the positive active material LiMnO2 of the secondary cell at 9250C to get a new improved data of the electric discharge for that the capacitance of the LiMnO2 thin film that is improving and researching with the properties and a merit and demerit in the this kind of asking.

$SF_6$ 가스 방전 특성의 유한요소해석 (A finite Element Analysis on the discharge characteristics of $SF_6$ gas)

  • In this paper the corona discharge in SF$_{6}$ gas used as insulating material in lots o high voltage equipment, is simulated by finite element method with Flux-Corrected Transport(FCT) method. By application of proposed method the negative corona discharge characteristics in needle to plane electrode is analyzed with time step. For the accuracy of analysis the secondary electron emission by photon and ion are also considered as well as the accuracy of analysis the secondary electron emission by photon and ion are also considered as well as townsend first ionization and electron attachment. The calculated results show that the electric field intensity between anode and ion group is decreased as times go-by according to field distortion by those space charge. Accordingly the electron density is decreased strongly by the attatchment effect of SF6 gas so that the corona discharge becomes extinguished abruptly.y.

  • The effects of addition of $D_2$ to conventional gases on the discharge characteristics were investigated in this work with the aim of improving the voltage margin, the wall charge and the jitter. The addition of an extremely small gas-inlet amounts of $D_2$ increased the number of electrons which improves the $Xe^{\ast}$ density and $Xe_2^{\ast}$ density. As a result, the voltage margin, the jitter and the wall charge increased.
