The objective of this study is to simulate the etching characteristics with oscillation angle for the optimization of etching system. The etching characteristics were analyzed under different etching conditions. The spray characteristics were measured by Phase Doppler Anemometer (PDA). The correlation between the spray characteristics and the etching characteristics was investigated and used for fundamental data to simulate the etching characteristics with oscillation angle. The smaller coefficient of variation, the more uniform etching characteristic distribution became. It was found that numerical predictions of etching factor generally agreed well with the measured results with distance from nozzle tip. Oscillation leads to decrease of etching factor and increase of uniformity.

When designing the parameter on the multiple quality characteristics, there has been a study for optimization of problems, but there has been few former study on the possible conflicting phenomena in consideration of the correlations among the characteristics. To solve the issue on the optimal design for multiple quality characteristics, this study propose the expected loss function with cross-product terms among the characteristics and derived range of the coefficients of the terms. The model will be used to determine the global optimal design parameters where there exists the conflict among the characteristics, which shows difference in optimal design parameters for the individual characteristics. Also, when an adjustment factor exists for each m performance characteristics, this research propose a method by minimizing the expected loss after adjustment.

The major objective of this study is to investigate the dynamic behaviors of track due to the deterioration characteristics of ballast for servicing tracks by the field test. The durability of ballast plays an important role in the track behaviour. To estimate the deterioration characteristics of ballast, several tests have been carried out by several shcolars. The deterioration characteristics of ballast is one of the most important factor in the dynamic behaviour of track and its life. In this paper abrasion/breakage characteristics of ballast is studied to predict the effect of physical ballast characteristics on ballast track. To reveal deterioration characteristics of ballast, the field test were carried out. The deterioration characteristics, studied in this paper, is applied to the dynamic behaviour of track in various conditions.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the influences of various factors, the social support of friends and relatives, couple's characteristics, and the mother's parenting characteristics, and their impact upon infant development. For the purposes of this study, data was taken from 2078 infants who were born in 2008 and their mothers who participated in the 1st Korean Children Panel Survey of the Child-Care Policy Research Institute. The data collected were processed statistically by means of a structural model and the fit of the model was also found to be very good. The findings indicated that the social support of friends and relatives and couple's characteristics did indeed impact upon an infant's development, with the mother's parenting characteristics having a mediating effect. The direct effect of the social support of friends and relatives on infant development was positive and the results of the effect were the same even when taking into account the mediating effects of the mother's parenting characteristics. The direct effect of a couple's characteristics on the mother's parenting characteristics was negative but the result of it was also positive when taken in conjunction with the mediating effects of the mother's parenting characteristics.

This study was conducted to evaluate the mechanical (texture and color) and sensory characteristics of mulberry leaf sulgi (MLS) and lotus leaf sulgi (LLS) that contained different ratios of ingredients. MLS and LLS with final concentrations of 0%, 1%, 3% and 5% of powdered mulberry and lotus leaf respectively, were prepared. The texture characteristics (hardness, adhesiveness, springiness, cohesiveness, gumminess, chewiness), color values (lightness, redness, yellowness), and sensory characteristics (color, flavor, moistness, taste, brittleness, chewiness and after-taste) of the different sulgis were then measured and compared. With the exception of gumminess and chewiness, the texture characteristics of 0% MLS, 1% MLS and 3% MLS were not significantly different. The sensory characteristics of 0% MLS had the highest scores, whereas those of 5% MLS were the lowest for all factors except for brittleness. However, with the exception of chewiness, the scores obtained from 0% and 1 % MLS did not differ significantly. In addition, 1% MLS and 3% MLS were not significantly different from each other. Furthermore, the texture characteristics of 0% LLS and 1 % LLS were not different significantly, although the characteristics of 1% LLS were significantly different from those of 3% and 5% LLS when springiness, cohesiveness, and chewiness were considered. Additionally, the sensory characteristics of 0% LLS and 1% LLS were not significantly different, with the exception of brittleness, and the characteristics of 1% LLS and 3% LLS were not significantly different, with the exception of taste and after-taste.

Purpose: This study has been started with the awareness that light and color are the main visual sensors of the multi-sensory stimulation environment to achieve the therapeutic environment for demented elderly. The purpose of this study therefore is for clarifying the application characteristics of therapeutic light and color for dementia care facilities. Methods: Internal and external literature reviews have been conducted for the investigation into a)disorders and visual system in demented elderly, b)therapeutic effects of light and color, c)heliotherapy, light therapy and color therapy to deduce the therapeutic characteristics of light and color for demented elderly, and finally into d)the application characteristics of it for dementia care facilities. Results: The application characteristics of the therapeutic light and color for dementia care facilities are classified into both qualitative and quantitative characteristics. Qualitative application characteristics of light represented using of daylight, using of lighting approximate to daylight, expansion of iluminance level, equality in iluminance Level, reduction of shadow, and as well as exclusion of blare. Quantitative application characteristics of it represented iluminance level, color temperature and color rendering index prescribed in international lighting standards. Qualitative application characteristics of color represented non-monochromatic color, color contrast, long wavelength of yellow-red colors, exclusion of short wavelength of blue colors and patterns, and as well as different colors for idenfication. Quantitative application characteristics of it represented kontrast(K) prescribed in DIN32975:2009 and light reflectance value(LRV) prescribed in BS8300:2009. Implications: To form dementia care facilities as therapeutic environment both qualitative and quantitative application characteristics of therapeutic light and color in dementia care facilities are needed.

The purpose of this study is to examine the fashion characteristics of fashion magazine cover by comparing and analyzing the formative characteristics of fashion, visual design characteristics and illustration vocabulary on the cover of 3 fashion magazines. The data analysis criteria consisted of the formative elements of fashion (fashion design element, fashion coordination element) and visual design element (color, illustration lexical layout, model photograph type). Data analysis methods were statistical analysis, stepwise lexical analysis, and content analysis. The results of the study are as follows. First, the formative characteristics of fashion on the cover of fashion magazines show that ELLE is a feminine and elegant characteristics, VOGUE is a modern, chic and mannish characteristics, and W is avant-garde and neutral characteristics. Second, visual design characteristics on the cover of fashion magazines, ELLE and VOGUE use modern and simple modern sensibility by using monotonous background color and background color number, and W showed original image characteristic by using various colors. Third, as a result of the illustration lexical analysis on the cover of fashion magazines, 4 core keywords of trend, star, event, and life appeared in 3 magazines in common. Elle differentiates by innovation, Vogue by discrimination, W by reconstruction.

The purpose of this study is to examine how the app characteristics of delivery apps and personal characteristics influence consumers' attitudes, trust, and reuse intention. To address the goal, this researcher selected consumers having experience in ordering food through a delivery app as subjects and carried out a survey with a structured questionnaire from April 1st to 30th, 2022, and then collected the results through Google Surveys due to the prevalence of COVID-19. The main results are summed up as follows. First, it has been found that app characteristics influence their attitudes, trust, and reuse intention. Second, personal characteristics have significant effects on their attitudes, trust, and reuse intention. Third, their attitudes and trust have been found to exert effects on their reuse intention. This study is distinct from previous studies in that it has considered app characteristics and personal characteristics both in examining the factors to realize the continuous use of delivery apps. Moreover, this study is significant in that based on the results, it has revealed that factors associated with app characteristics and personal characteristics are crucial to enhance their intention to reuse delivery apps.

It has become a general idea today that the characteristics of medicine should be considered as a basis when discussing a medical personnel's duty of care and whether or not it has been violated, and when discussing its duty of explanation and whether or not it has been fulfilled in medical practice. However, in the discussion of its characteristics, some shortcomings still exist, so the need for a re-discussion has been raised. Firstly, existing discussions on characteristics have failed to comprehensively grasp and explain the characteristics of medical practice. Secondly, in some researchers' arguments, there are discrepancies between the terms used to express characteristics and their conceptual definitions or content. Thirdly, the lack of exemplified cases that reflect the characteristics of medicine - especially Supreme Court precedents - has led some to think negatively about the recognition and reflection of certain characteristics. In my early writings, I have described five characteristics of medical practice: 'conflict in medical goals', 'initiating appropriate medical actions (progression of illness)', 'dynamics of medical intervention (diversity of symptoms)', 'diversity of medical effects', 'inherent risk of medical treatment (invasiveness)'. In this paper, keeping in mind the reasons for the need for reconsideration, I aim to analyze the characteristics of medicine in detail and cite key parts of representative Korean Supreme Court precedents that reflect each characteristic. The characteristics of medicine extracted from this paper are; There are ten factors, including the legitimacy of the essence of medical practice, timeliness of medical execution, dynamics of medical progress, diversity of medical effects, risk of medical invasion, non-uniformity of medical methods, limitations of medical capabilities, intervention of the medical subject, high degree of medical standards, and maldistribution of medical data.
