This study aimed to systematically review the literature on the stress reduction of meaning-centered therapy (MCT) studies in Korea and to identify the characteristics of MCT for stress reduction. MCT studies aimed at reducing stress symptoms were searched among peer reviewed journal articles and unpublished dissertations until April, 2020. Two independent researchers assessed the risk of bias and the quality of the report using Scottish Intercollegiate Guidelines Network criteria. As a result of searching with 7 databases, 7 studies were finally selected. Seven MCTs were for all age groups, and 5 studies reported MCT was effective in reducing stress symptoms. Both single and combined type interventions were effective in reducing stress symptom, Researchers used the combined MCT more than single MCT program. The study with no significant effect was related to school test stress. There is a need to develop MCTs suitable for school-age youth with test stress in the future.

This aim of this study is identify research trends and intellectual structure in the field of Korean journalism and communication studies. For this purpose, a semantic network analysis was employed to analyze keywords in the abstracts of published articles in the Korean Journal of Journalism and Communication Studies from 2005 to 2015. The results showed that "frame", "Twitter", "content analysis" and "social media" are among the most frequently used keywords in the abstracts during this period. With regards to degree and eigenvector centrality, "social capital", "trust" and "twitter" were among the highest. The findings of the periodic characteristics of research trends revealed that there are more studies that employ the traditional media effect theories including Uses and Gratification Theory, Agenda Setting Theory, and Framing Theory before the year of 2010 while those that focus on the specific new media such as smartphones and twitter after 2011. This study has implications in the sense that it can be used as guidelines for making a curriculum or establishing the research system for Korean journalism and communication studies in the future.

Zymomonas mobilis has been recognized as a potential industrial ethanologen for many decades due to its outstanding fermentation characteristics, including high ethanol tolerance, fast sugar uptake rate, and high theoretical ethanol yield. With the emergence of the postgenomic era and the recent announcement of DuPont's world largest cellulosic ethanol production process, research on this bacterium has become even more important to harness successful application not only for use in the bioethanol process but also in other biochemical processes, which can be included in bio-refinery. As an important industrial microorganism, Z. mobilis will likely be exposed to various stressful environments, such as toxic chemicals, including the end-product ethanol and fermentative inhibitory compounds (e.g., furan derivatives, organic acids, and lignin derivatives in pretreatment steps), as well as physical stresses, such as high temperature during large-scale ethanol fermentation. This review focuses on recent information related to the industrial robustness of this bacterium and strain development to improve the ethanol yield and productivity in the lignocellulosic ethanol process. Although several excellent review articles on the strain development of this bacterium have been published, this review aims to fill gaps in the literature by highlighting recent advances in physiological understanding of this bacterium that may aid strain developments and improve the ethanol productivity for lignocellulosic biomass.

As the widespread use of mobile health intervention among Korean patients with chronic disease, it is needed to identify research trends in mobile health intervention on chronic care using text mining technique. This secondary data analysis was conducted to investigate characteristics and main research topics in intervention studies from 2005 to 2018 with a total of 20 peer reviewed articles. Microsoft Excel and Text Analyzer were used for data analysis. Mobile health interventions were mainly applied to hypertension, diabetes, stroke, and coronary artery disease. The most common type of intervention was to develop mobile application. Lately, 'feasibility', 'mobile health', and 'outcome measure' were frequently presented. Future larger studies are needed to identify the relationships among key terms and the effectiveness of mobile health intervention using social network analysis.

A few Korean native rice cultivars, 'Sharei' and red rice which are regarded as weedy rice and a rice sample enshrined in the Buddha's Image were examined for the grain shape, seed coat color, amylose content, alkali digestibility and esterase response pattern. Among the Korean native varieties which are collected during 1920's and preserved up to now, there are some varieties belong to the typical Indicas. Some lines of 'Sharei' and some collections of red rice from farmer's field showed the evidence of Indica rice. A rice sample which was enshrined in the Buddha's image in 1302 looked like a mixtures of Indica and Japonica. Reviewing the articles from the old books describing characteristics and some reports on the Indica rice in Korea, it was deduced that the Indica rice was grown in Korea in some extent before 1300.

The purpose of the study was to review the evidence of effects of SBAR for communication in domestic nursing students. Four databases were searched for articles publised until June 2023 that databases include RISS, KISS, DBpia & KCI. Key word used for search include 'nursing students,' 'nursing,' 'SBAR,' 'communication.' Of 57 papers searched, seventeen studies were selected for data analysis. Studies evaluated outcomes including communication clarity, communication competence, communication confidence, critical thinking ability, self-efficacy, reporting confidence, clinical judgment, and communication satisfaction that most studies reported positive effects while some figures were not statistically significant. Accordingly, we intend to analyze the characteristics and contents of communication interventions using SBAR, evaluate their effectiveness, and use them as evidence for future follow-up research on communication interventions using SBAR.

Since 1995 local newspapers competitively commenced the service of multimedia electronic newspaper on Internet WWW due to the technical development in data processing and the widely used Internet. It includes image, phonetics and moving pictures as well as texts. The Internet service of newspaper articles are not only the information source which enables the users utilize the various information easily and rapidly but also to be an important reference service tools in the library. Howeverjn many cases. the current local electronic newspaper service aims at the service itself. Therefore, the information does not contain plenty of information. In some cases, information searching system focused on the users are not established yet. In this research, structuring process and characteristics of the Internet WWW electronic newspaper and the current service status and contents of the local newspaper have been reviewed. Construction of menu, information searching system and reference mannual for users of 6 local newspapers have been analyzed to secure efficient service for users.

Due to increasing competition of globalization and fast technological improvements the appropriate method for evaluating and selecting IS-personnel is one of the key factors for an organization's success. Personnel selection is a multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) problem which consists of both qualitative and quantitative metrics. Although many articles have discussed various knowledge and skills IS personnel should possess, no specific model for IS personnel selection and evaluation, to our knowledge, has been published up to now. After reviewing the IS personnel's important characteristics, we propose an approach for categorizing the IS personnel based on their skills, ability, and knowledge during evaluation and selection process. Our proposed approach is derived from a model of neural network algorithm. We have adapted and implemented the fuzzy ART algorithm with Jaccard choice function. The result of an illustrative numerical example is proposed to demonstrate the easiness and effectiveness of our approach.

This study examines the fact-check coverage provided by the SNU fact-check center site(factcheck.snu.ac.kr). A total of 50 articles that were cross-checked by multiple news media organizations were analyzed. The study's variables were topics, types, characteristics, consistency of the news media organizations' judgement, and fact-check sources. This study found that fact-checking coverage was generally focused on presidential or general election candidates or politicians, as well as political topics. The types of fact-checking coverage primarily included factual information, as well as some opinions or interpretations. Fact-check coverage was mainly focused on the facts of the statements themselves, causal relationships, or the timing or target of the comparison criteria. On average, the fact-checking coverage most frequently assigned the judgment 'mostly false, and primarily used interviews of individuals or data from organizations involved in the issue, government data, and experts' statements as the bases for its fact-checking judgements.

The purpose of this study is to provide a systematical view point of SNS research published by scholarly journals in communications vis a meta-analysis. A total of 72 articles dealing with SNS issues from 2006 to 2012 were analysed by research theme, related sub-theme, methodology, theoretic rationale, targeted media, and characteristics. Effect research get the largest portion and then user research in terms of a developmental model of media research agenda. A major methodological trend is an online survey and theoretical background is Uses and Gratification. Twitter is the most popular medium researched and SNS is mainly characterized as information provision and seeking as well as relationship forming.
