미국드라마 CSI 에 나타난 사인(死因)에 따른 상처분장의 특성 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of the Make-up on Corpses Depending on the Cause of Death in the American Drama CSI)

  • The corpse make-up depending on the cause of death shown in CSI is the only evidence to solve a case, and shows the characteristics of the unique make-up on the corpse, according to the causes of death. There are many types of death causes such as strangulation, manslaughter, assassination and shooting, of which the strangulation is caused by strangling the neck with the hands or using a weapon and has characteristics of showing other external wounds with purple spots appearing on the body after death. This is a presentation of the corpse with a face of white, and the purple spots bruised on the neck. Manslaughter shows deep wounds caused by a stab or laceration using a weapon, and the material feeling of the wound that makes new skin tissue, is realistically presented with make-up of gooey blood. Assassination can be thought as manslaughter in disguise as an accidental death, which the causes can be due to electrocution, suffocation from oxygen deficiency and from excessive monoxide. The make-up is presented by realistically showing the surrounding fragments of the bullet shell, the blood running down, the size of the hole in the body made from the bullet, and shows the broken skin tissues. The shape of the bullet wound can be presented differently based on the body part where the bullet penetrated into, and the part where the bullet shot out through.

Influence of burial conditions on the seepage characteristics of uranium bearing loose sandstone

  • To investigate the influence of different burial conditions on the seepage characteristics of loose sandstone in the leaching mining of sandstone uranium ore, this study applied different ground pressures and water pressures to rock samples at different burial depths to alter the rock's seepage characteristics. The permeability, pore distribution, and particle distribution characteristic parameters were determined, and the results showed that at the same burial depth, ground pressure had a greater effect on the reduction in permeability than water pressure. The patterns and mechanisms are as follows: under the influence of ground pressure, increasing the burial depth compresses the pores in the rock samples, decreases the proportion of effective permeable pores, and causes particle fragmentation, which blocks pore channels, resulting in a decrease in permeability. Under the influence of water pressure, increasing the burial depth expands the pores but also causes hard clay particles to decompose and block pore channels. As the burial depth increases, the particles eventually decompose completely, and the permeability initially decreases and then increases. In this experiment, the relationships between permeability and the proportion of pores larger than 0.15 ㎛ and the proportion of particles smaller than 59 ㎛ were found to be the most significant.

확산증폭기에 의한 전압안정 부저항회로의 구성에 대하여 (A Study on Composition of VSNR Circuit by Operational Amplifier)

  • 연산증폭기를 이용한 전압안정부저항회로를 제안하였으며, 전입력전압범위에 걸쳐서 회로를 해석하였다. 부저항영역에서 이 v-i특성이 2가지 구분된 요인에 의해서 이루어짐을 밝혔고, 이 개념에 의해서 역 v-i특성의 꼭지점을 해석하였다. 제안된 회로를 실험하여 얻은 입력 v-i특성의 직선성은 대단히 양호하였으며, 이들의 부저항치는 전압범위 ±1∼±5V에서 -86∼833Ω였다. 그리고 전입력전압범위에서 v-i특성을 검토했다. A voltage-stable negative resistance circuit with operational amplifier is proposed, and circuit analysis is given all the input voltage range. The behavior of the v-i characteristics in the nogative resistance region is devided into two causes, and top points in the input v-i characteristics of the circuit is analyzed with them. Experimental results of the v-i characteristics of the proposed circuit has a good linearity in the negative region with negative resistance, -86Ω∼-833Ω for the input voltage, ± 1∼± 5 colts. The v-i characteristics of the circuit in all the input voltage range is discussed.

제주국제공항 활주로에 양배풍을 유발하는 기압 패턴에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Pressure Patterns that Causes Bidirectional Tailwind on the Runway of Jeju International Airport)

  • Jeju International Airport is characterized by the occurrence of low-level windshear due to its location, surrounding terrain, and its weather characteristics. Especially the low-level windshear accompanied by tailwinds on both sides of the runway i.e., bidirectional tailwind, is a hazardous weather phenomenon with unique characteristics that are difficult to find at any other airports. This study focuses on bidirectional tailwind occurrence at Jeju International Airport in 2020-2021. As a result, characteristic pressure patterns of the types that cause bidirectional tailwind was identified as it was possible to categorize strong wind types such as 1) strong southwest wind, 2) strong east wind, and 3) strong northwest wind, which do not cause bidirectional tailwind, and wind direction variation types such as 4) bidirectional tailwind, and 5) south wind followed by southwest wind, which cause bidirectional tailwind. The results of this study are expected to contribute to improving aviation safety by enabling aviation operators to predict and take appropriate safety measures based on their understanding of the causes and characteristics of bidirectional tailwind.

  • This research investigates the statistical efficiency of variable sampling size & sampling interval(VSSI) $\bar{X}$ charts under two assignable causes. Algorithms for calculating the average run length(ARL) and average time to signal(ATS) of the VSSI $\bar{X}$ chart are proposed by employing Markov chain method. States of the process are defined according to the process characteristics after the occurrence of an assignable cause. Transition probabilities are carefully derived from the state definition. Statistical properties of the proposed chart are also investigated. A simple procedure for designing the proposed chart is presented based on the properties. Extensive sensitivity analyses show that the VSSI $\bar{X}$ chart is superior to the VSS or VSI $\bar{X}$ chart as well as to the Shewhart $\bar{X}$ chart in statistical sense, even tinder two assignable causes.

퓨즈를 이용한 전기화재의 원인분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Causal Analysis of Electrical Fire by Using Fuse)

  • 본 논문은 전기제품 내에 안전장치로 사용되는 퓨즈를 이용한 전기화재의 원인분석에 관한 연구이다. 시료는 유리관퓨즈(정격 15 A, $5{\times}20mm$)와 온도퓨즈(정격 10 A, $72^{\circ}C$)를 사용하였다. 전기화재의 주요원인인 단락 및 과부하 그리고 외부화염을 인위적으로 가하여 소손된 퓨즈의 특성을 비교 분석하였다. 실험결과 유리관퓨즈의 경우 소손된 퓨즈의 외형 및 표면 그리고 조직분석에서 서로 다른 특징들을 확인할 수 있었다. 온도퓨즈의 경우 외부화염실험의 경우에서만 소손된 퓨즈의 외형 및 가동접점의 표면 그리고 조직분석에서 뚜렷한 특징이 나타났다.

임도개설후 경과년수에 따른 임도 성토비탈의 토사침식 특성 (Characteristics of Soil Erosion on the Fill-slope of Forest Road by Elapsed Years after Road Construction)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the characteristics of soil erosion on the fill-slope of forest road by elapsed years after road construction. Thirteen plots were established on the fill-slope of the newly-constructed forest road, and surveyed for two years(1997~1998). In these plots, the data about soil erosion, surface runoff, vegetation coverage, slope structural characteristics and rainfall were collected. In 1997, the major causes for soil erosion were found by the correlation coefficients with the amount of surface runoff from the fill-slope, vegetation coverage, slope length, slope degree, total rainfall and max. 1 hour rainfall. But, in 1998, the major causes for soil erosion were vegetation coverage and slope degree. Using the stepwise multiple regression method, in 1997, the amount of soil erosion from the fill-slope was complexly expressed as a exponential function of statistically significant the amount of surface runoff from the fill-slope, total rainfall, slope degree of fill-slope and vegetation coverage, but, in 1998, simply expressed as a exponential function of vegetation coverage.

초고령사회 노인학대의 발생원인 및 유형 분석을 통한 개선방안 연구 (A Study on the in Improvement of Elder Abuse through Analysis the Causes and the Type of Elder Abuse the Super-aged Society)

  • 본 연구는 도시지역에 거주하는 노인에 대한 학대발생의 원인을 파악하고 이를 유형별로 분석하여 개선 방안을 마련하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 서울시 마포지역을 중심으로 하여 65세 이상의 노인을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였다. 연구모형은 독립변수를 노인학대 발생원인으로, 통제변수를 인구사회학적 특성으로, 종속변수를 노인학대 경험으로 하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 인구사회학적 특성에 따른 노인학대 발생원인과 발생원인의 차이를 알아보았다. 노인학대 발생원인에서는, 연령은 연령대가 높을수록 노인학대 발생원인의 수준이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 학력은 고졸미만이 대학원졸업 보다 높은 것을 나타났다. 둘째, 연구대상자들의 노인학대 발생경험에 영향을 미치는 요인을 알아보았다. 조사대상자의 노인학대 발생원인 가운데 개인적 요인, 가족환경 요인, 사회·문화적 요인의 수준이 높을수록 노인학대 발생경험이 증대하는 결과를 의미한다. 셋째, 인구사회학적 특성에 따른 노인학대 발생원인과 발생원인의 차이를 알아보았다. 노인학대 발생원인에서는, 연령은 연령대가 높을수록 노인학대 발생원인과 발생경험의 수준이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 연구대상자들의 노인학대 발생경험에 영향을 미치는 요인을 알아보았다. 이는 조사대상자의 노인학대 발생원인 가운데 개인적 요인, 가족환경 요인, 사회·문화적 요인의 수준이 높을수록 노인학대 발생경험이 증대하는 결과를 의미한다. 결론적으로, 노인학대는 개인적 요인, 가족환경 요인, 사회·문화적 요인의 수준이 높아질수록 그에 따른 노인학대 발생이 많아짐으로써 노인학대 유형이 형성된다고 볼 수 있다. 그러므로 노인학대의 개선을 위해서는 노인학대의 유형에 따른 발생원인을 근본적으로 치유해야 함을 이 연구를 통해 결과로 나타난다.

Characteristics of Transient Overvoltages for the Towers with Time Varying Tower Footing Resistance

  • This paper investigated the characteristics of transient overvoltages on the tower caused by time varying tower footing resistance in the path of lightning stroke current entering earth on transmission lines. The tower with time varying tower footing resistance was simulated and the transient overvoltageson the tower due to lightning stroke current were computer by Nodal Solution Method. From the results, it was found that the determination of the steady state values as a limit of inductive tower footing resistance causes higher transient overvoltages than CFO voltages of insulator strings and V-T characteristics of the insulator strings should be considered for computation of backflashover rate.

사고 원인조사를 통한 농작업 안전사고 특성 연구 - 유지, 보수 작업을 중심으로 - (Root Causes and Characteristics of Occupational Incidents by Cause Investigation - Focusing on Maintenance and Repair Work -)

  • This study aims to identify the types of safety accidents that occur during maintenance and repair operations and analyze the root causes. We used the logic tree diagramming to extract the root causes of 65 safety incidents specifically related to maintenance and repair work out of a total of 1,024 agricultural safety incidents that occurred between 2007 and 2020 collected by investigation with interviews. The extracted root causes were analyzed by categorizing them into six different safety system classifications. The results of the analysis and suggestions are as follows. Incidents related to maintenance and repair work, which can lead to irreversible safety hazards, have occurred frequently. These incidents were found to be occurring due to the overlapping of various safety system errors such as personal protective system and safety operation procedure. In the short term, it is necessary to emphasize compliance with the use of personal protective equipment, and enhancement of maintenance training. In the long term, it is necessary to establish a legal distinction for maintenance and repair work and clarify the responsible parties. Introducing a maintenance system is also crucial to prevent occupational injuries during maintenance and repair in agriculture.
