The oral health-related quality of life had positive correlations with the subjective perception of dry mouth and whole body dry symptoms. The subjective perception of dry mouth(${\beta}$=0.245) had the influence on the oral health-related quality of life, oral health status(${\beta}$=-0.209), gingival disease(${\beta}$=-0.151), and decayed tooth(${\beta}$=-0.146) in order. Conclusions: The oral health-related quality of life was closely related to the subjective perception of dry mouth and the oral health status. It is necessary to develop the quality of life improvement programs including oral health prevention and care program in the adults.
This study started from the need to change the technocentric view of environment into the ecocentric one to overcome ecological crisis today. Thus, the purposes of this study are to reorganize characteristics of ecocentrism, to analyze ecocentrism of Native North Americans as a realistic model, and to finally find suggestions to environmental education. The results of this study can be summarized as follows; Frist, the ecocentric perception on relationship between human beings and nature pursues co-existence through harmony and balance based on holistic understandings. And the ecocentric perception on relationship among human beings attempts to preserve environment by overcoming rule structure among them. The ecocentric perception on relationship between human beings and spirituality is to set life goals to achieve spirituality rather than to pursue material life. Second, Native North Americans have a holistic world view that human beings and nature are an inseparable one through the symbol of 'the Sacred Circle'. They also lived simple lives which satisfies vital needs instead of pursuing material lives in terms of the perception on relationship among human beings. When it comes to the perception on relationship between human beings and spirituality, they feel sacredness from all things in daily life and want to have peaceful relationships with their own inside through spirituality toward 'Mother Earth'. Third, the ecocentrism of Native North Americans make suggestions that environmental education confirm again what roles of human beings are in ecosystem, and that it helps students develop ecological sensitivity by giving them many opportunities to go to field trips. Furthermore, environmental education helps them positively think about and actively choose simple life. In addition, it has to be designed to help students seek sacredness in daily life through ecological imagination. This study has values of newly organizing characteristics of each ecocentric idea by integrating it from complementary aspects, and pursuing direction of ecocentrism and its realistic possibility by analyzing the ecocentrism of Native North Americans as a model of ecological life.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the inpatients' perception of therapeutic-diets and of explanation about those diets provided by hospitals and satisfaction on therapeutic-diets at hospitals in Busan. The subjects consisted of 155 inpatients at five hospitals, which all had over 400 beds. The research was performed through the interviewing process using questionnaires. Seventy five percent of patients had received an explanation for their therapeutic-diet and 57.4% of respondents were given a manual that explained the reason for the therapeutic-diet. The professionals who explained the therapeutic-diet was 61.7% dietitians and 25.6% doctors. 59.4% of the patients considered the dietitian to be suitable for explaining the diet and 25.6% patients believed the doctor to be suitable for explaining the diet. In terms of the patients' perception of the therapeutic-diet explanation, 74.5% of the patients understood very well, 78.9% of them perceived this explanation as very important, and 67.5% of them were satisfied. On a scale of 5.00 for therapeutic-diet satisfaction, the average scores were 2.95 for meal characteristics and 3.06 for service characteristics. The items that scored low in therapeutic-diet satisfaction were taste, seasoning and appearance of meals, provision of selective menu and consideration of personal preference. In terms of the perception of understanding the therapeutic-diet, patients who were provided a manual and an explanation gave high scores to 'taste', 'variety of diet', 'meeting opportunity with dietitians', and 'prompt dealing with meal complications'. There was a significant (p<0.05) positive correlation between satisfaction for the explanation of the therapeutic-diet and the degree of perceived benefits of the explanation to the nutrition-management and the satisfaction on the therapeutic-diet satisfaction. Therefore, the results of this study suggest that hospitals should increase support for explaining the therapeutic-diet by dietitians and develop menus based on the patients' preference and the taste of the meal.

Lastry looking at the influence dance flow has on dance performance satisfaction, only behavioral devotion has much influence on dance performance satisfaction.
The quality of mother-infant interaction during early postpartum period has a significant influence on the child growth and development in many aspects. The mother's initial perception of the newborns might have the lasting influence on the development of the mother-infant attachment and mother-infant relationship. Therefore the proper mother-infant interaction should be developed after infant birth. However, it is acknowledged that the high risk infants influence on the mothers' perception because of their abnormalities or disorders of physical condition and the restricted maternal contacts and interactions. The object of this study is to identify the difference of mother's perception of their normal and high-risk newborn during the early postpartum period. The ultimate goal is to contribute to use this basic data to develop nursing intervention toward the promotion of healthy mother-infant relationship and the helping of growth and development of children. The data were collected for this study from Sep. 21, 1990 to Oct. 1. 1991 at E University Hospital. The sample was 83 of mothers who had normal newborns and 73 mothers who had high risk newborns .The instrument was Neonatal Perception Inventory(NPI) designed by the Broussard for the measurement of mothers' perception of newborns about Average Baby and Your Baby. The data were analysed by using an SPSS Program and include percentage mean, SD, t-test, ANOVA. The results of this study are as follows : 1. The normal newborn mothers' perception is more positive than the high-risk newborn mothers(t=7.94, p=0.000). 2. Mothers' perception of the newborns is not related significantly to mothers' general characteristics. In conclusion, in order to promote positive, healthy mother-infant relationship, the nurse need to support, give information, and educate high-risk newborn mothers through early nursing assessment.
This study analyzed the ways of expressing materials to create visual perception spaces in "commercial spaces". The result is as follows. First, it has been discovered that expressing materials in commercial spaces plays an important role in creating various visual perception spaces as well as discriminative spaces, in commercial spaces. Hence, it will be necessary to make a multilateral study on how you can express materials to create visual perception spaces. Second, by referring to earlier studies, four types of space have been deduced as visual perception spaces. These are: "expansion", "central", "borderline" and "decoration" spaces. Third, by considering the space types and characteristics as well as the expressing materials, the criteria for the ways of expressing materials to create visual perception spaces in commercial spaces. Finally, looking at these expression methods, images of "expansion" spaces have most commonly been expressed indistinctly by using the materials and patterns. The profound images of "central" spaces were displayed using the materials and their symbolic images have been shown using the materials and colors. In the "borderline" spaces, the areas have been distinctly segmented or expressed in limited spaces by using the materials and colors. Visual designs were displayed in the "decoration" spaces by using materials from other space fields. All these phenomena have demonstrated that various new materials are being used to create various distinctive designs in commercial spaces. The result of this study shall act as basic reference materials in devising visual designs needed in creating various visual perception spaces.
