Ionizing Radiation Sensitivity Analysis of the Structural Characteristic for the MOS Capacitors (MOS 커패시터의 구조별 전리방사선 감도 특성 분석)

  • Ionizing Radiation effects on MOS devices provide useful information regarding the behavior of MOS based devices and circuits in the electronic instrumentation parts and instructive data for making the high sensitive sensors. The study presents the results of the analysis on the structural characteristics of MOS capacitor for sensing the ionizing radiation effect. We performed numerical modeling of Ionizing-radiation effect on MOS capacitor and simulation using Matlab program. Also we produced MOS capacitors and obtained useful data through radiation experiment to analyse the characteristic of ionizing radiation effect on MOS capacitor. Increasing the thickness of MOS capacitor's oxide layer enhanced the sensitivity of MOS capacitor under irradiation condition, but the sensitivity of irradiated MOS capacitor is uninfluenced by the area of MOS capacitor. The high frequency capacitance of the MOS capacitor is found to be strongly affected by incident ionizing radiation.

  • In this paper, the dynamic characteristic according to disturbance load of Permanent magnet Linear Synchronous Motor(PMLSM) is dealt with carefully. In order to analyze dynamic characteristics, the simulink of Matlab is used. And F.E.M. is used for calculation of the parameter of PMLSM. The measuring system of the dynamic characteristics is manufactured and experiment results are compared with simulation results.

  • Soil decontamination process was conducted to study adsorption and modeling characteristic of Sr$^{2+}$ ion using citric acid and water system with TRIGA soil. When the concentration of citric acid was increased, the BTC of Sr$^{2+}$ ion was to be closed to the BTC of $^3$$H_2O$ at experiments of soil adsorption. Beside, when the concentration of citric acid was under 0.01M Sr$^{2+}$ ion, BTLs was asymmetry. It was characteristic of nonequilibrium adsorption. R and $K_{p}$ , were decreased to be increased the concentration of citric acid. Asymmetry modeling was nearly the same to be compare with symmetry modeling in decontamination process, when the concentration of citric acid was decreased. Result of experiment was agree with asymmetry and symmetry model, when the concentration of citric acid was increased.eased.

  • Arm-type implements of tractor are mainly utilized for the slope land operation. The proposed hydraulic system was implemented to arm-type implements of tractor. An experiment was conducted to evaluate response characteristics of the designed arm-type implement control system attached by three-point hitch of tractor at various conditions, such as engine speed, pumping rate and cylinder input flow. Effects of the valve response time didn't affect engine speed. The flow rate of pump and cylinder changed to the pressure loss. Also, the pressure loss was within 2 MPa and the response characteristic was sufficient enough to use as the arm-type implement system.

  • An usual acoustic emission(AE) event has two widely characterized parameters in time domain, peak amplitude and event duration. But noise in AE measuring may disturb the signals with its parameters and aggrandize the signal incertitude. Experiment activity of detection of the nick inside of porcelain with AE was made and study on AE signal processing with statistic be presented in this paper in order to pick-up information expected from the signal with noise. Effort is concentrated on developing a novel arithmetic to improve extraction of the characteristic from stochastic signal and to enhance the voracity of detection. The main purpose discussed in this paper is to treat with signals on amplitudes with statistic mutuality and power density spectrum in frequency domain, and farther more to select samples for neural networks training by means of least-squares algorithm between real measuring signal and deterministic signals under laboratory condition. By seeking optimization with the algorithm, the parameters representing characteristic of the porcelain object are selected, while the stochastic interfere be weakened, then study for detection on neural networks is developed based on processing above.

  • In this paper, proposal circuit proposes that load parallel resonant DC-DC Converter consist of L and C resonant tank circuit. Also, the capacitor$(C_1,\;C2)$ connected in switch are a common using by resonance capacitor and ZVS capacitor. The analysis of proposed circuit uses normalized parameter and characteristic estimation which is needed in each step before design is generally described the proposed circuit with the characteristics of average power and average output voltage etc. Alse, we conform a rightfulness theoretical analysis by comparing a theoretical values and experimental values obtained from experiment using MOSFET as switching devices.

  • In this study, we tried to investigate the impedance characteristic of human arm in a cooperative task. Human arm was moved in a desired trajectory. The motion was actuated by a 1 degree-of-freedom robot system. As the muscle is mechanically analogous to a spring-damper system, a second-order equation was considered as the model for arm dynamics. In the model, inertia, stiffness and damping factor were considered. The impedance parameter was estimated from the position and torque data obtained from the experiment and based on the "Estimation of Parametric Model".   • In this paper, in-process chatter detection methodology which utilizes nondimensional characteristic variables is introduced. To obtain nondimensional chatter detection indexes which are constant regardless of the cutting conditions during machining with the same tool and workpiece material, both the cutting forces and accelerations are measured and processed in time and frequency domain. The indexes are calculated from the present and past value of the acceleration and cutting force signals in time and frequency domain. The chatter is identified when these chatter detection indexes are bigger than the threshold which is decided by preliminary experiments. The experiment shows that these indexes works very well in-process chatter detection.

  • CFRP composite has a lot of merits such as mechanical characteristic, light weight, and thermal resistance. For these merits CFRP is applied to so many industrial area. In this paper, the relationship between the stack thickness and drill diameter is examined from the drilling experiment, which is the drilling of 16, 32, 48 plies specimen with the $\phi$8, $\phi$10, $\phi$12mm cemented carbide drill. The results are analyzed with consideration of cutting force, stack thickness and drill diameter.

  • This Study is focused on the instrumenting Hybrid Rocket Motor of ACPL at Konkuk University and researching combustion instability by measuring regression rate versus oxidizer mass flux. In the result of experiment, test fire was moderate and we could acquire data of pressure, thrust, and temperature of combustion chamber. In the future, studying unsteady change of regression rate and pressure characteristic analysis of combustion chamber through hundreds of experiments should be performed. furthermore, researching characteristic velocity by taking a measurement of combustion temperature will be inevitable.
