An Analysis of the Economic Effects on the Project to Construct Smart Network (스마트 네트워크 구축사업의 경제적 파급효과 분석)

  • The Smart Network Project is planned for achieving the Internet advanced country by adjusting the Government Future Internet Development as a national agenda. The future Internet is defined as diverse alternative technology and services that can provide optimal services for individual characteristic and situation in anywhere, anytime throughout convergence of communication, broadcasting, and computing to solve the current limitation of the Internet. This paper is to analyze the economic effects of the smart network build-up. For the economic effect analysis, we reclassified the smart network industry classification system and re-drew up 2011 Inter-industry Relations Table by using the Inter-industry Relations Table issued by the Bank of Korea and the RAS techniques. And we analyzed the economic effects that can be drawn from the investment of the smart network industry. As a result, the gross production inductive effect which appears with the economic effect of the smart network establishment project from 2011 to 2015 came out to be about 72 trillion 808.2 billion KW, added value inductive effect of 44 trillion 192.9 billion KW and the employment inductive effect of the job creation of about 412 thousands people. Afterward, it is anticipated that the smart network build-up project to contribute to the improvement of Koreans' daily life. Moreover, this research will be used as a valued basic material in the pursuit of the future network projects.

Studies on the Fertilized Eggs in the Internal Reproductive Organ of the Silkworm Female Moth (Bombyx mori L.) (자아의 내부 생식기내 수정란에 관한 연구)

  • The following results were obtained through the experiments and study of fertility for silkworm eggs in vagina, oviduct, and ovarial base. The sample eggs were collected after leaving silkworm moth for one week from the date of treatment was given to oviporm orifice of the silkworm moth by heated needle in order to discontinue laying eggs. Those sample silkworm moths were divided into two groups. The first group was under the condition of immediately after the couplation and the second group was under the condition of after the laying eggs in some extend, and both of them were completed couplation. The sample eggs were screened in order to confirm the degree of color which normally be observed as very characteristic during hibernating. 1. About 5% of silkworm out of the total sample were identified as having 1-2 eggs. (See table 1). But, the charasteristic colour of hibernating egg was not observed. The colour was not much different as that of eggs in ovarian duct. 2. Immediately after the couplation, the eggs were not found in vagina under the condition of immediately after the couplation. 3. About 10% of the sample under the condition of after laying eggs in some extend were found having eggs in vagina or oviduct. 4. About 2% of the sample silkworm moth under the condition of immediately after the couplation were found having I fertilized egg in oviduct. 5. No fertilized egg was found in ovarian tube. It seemed that sperm did not enter ovarian tube. 6. Almost the entire eggs were found in ovarian tube under the condition of immediately after the couplation. But, eggs under the condition of after laying eggs in some extend were found around oviduct and vagina due to the continuous movement of silkworm eggs towards oviporus orifice. 7. Sperm is mainly found around seminal receptacle and vagina, and sperm goes into micropyle together with silkworm eggs which were moving towards oviduct.

The Characteristic of Earthquake Response on Middle Slab in Double-Deck Tunnel under Supporting Conditions (복층터널 중간슬래브의 지지조건에 따른 지진 응답특성)

  • It is critical for Korea to make effective use of limited space as it has dense population and high traffic volume compared to its terrestrial area. To resolve this issue, diverse types of underground structures have increasingly been applied so far, and one of the most representative structures is double-deck tunnel. It has upper and lower roads separated by middle slab that shows dynamic behavior according to the vehicle and earthquake loads. In case of the characteristics of earthquake response, it is necessary to have exploratory study as it has high loads, complex working mechanism, and difficult theoretical approach. In order to understand the characteristics of earthquake response based on the supporting conditions of middle slab in double-deck tunnel, this study conducts indoor shaking table test with 3 test cases: (1) fix both brackets, (2) free and fix at each bracket and (3) free at both brackets for 2 seismic waves of artificial and Gyeongju earthquake. The result shows if the middle slab is free at both brackets, the acceleration response is reduced 41% for artificial earthquake and 60% for Gyeongju earthquake compared to the one with fix at both brackets.

The Processing Conditions of Extracts from Rapid Fermented Anchovy Sauce (속성멸치간장엑기스분의 가공조건)

  • AS a part of investigation to use anchovy more effectively as food source, this work was undertaken the processing conditions of extracts from rapid fermented anchovy sauce. To prepare rapid fermented products, the chopped anchovy was mixed with 50% water (w/w), and then hydrolyzed by autolysis or addition of koji under different conditions of hydrolysis. The optimal conditions for hydrolysis of chopped anchovy were revealed $50^{\circ}C$, 6 hours, pH 8.0 by autolysis, and ,$50^{\circ}C$, 6 hours, pH 7.0 by addition of 10% koji, respectively. But, pH control was not much beneficial in increasing yield. The effect of soybean protein isolote for improvement of bitter taste was also tested. The reasonable amount of added soybean protein isolate was revealed 5% on the weight basis of the chopped anchovy. The reaction mixture hydrolyzed under optimal conditions were added with 1% onion powder (w/w), 1% garlic powder(w/w) and 1% red pepper powder(w/w) for masking fishy odor, inactivated for 20 min at $100^{\circ}C$, and then centrifuged for 20 min at 4,000 rpm. The supernatant liquor was filtrated and evaporated to 50%(v/v). finally, table salt was added for bateriostatic effect and characteristic taste of rapid fermented products. the reasonable amount of added table salt was reversed 15% on the volume basis of the evaporated liquor. The hydrolysis ratio of product made by addition of water, product made by addition of koji and water, and product made by addition of soybean protein isolate, koji and water hydrolyzed under optimal conditions were 58.4%, 82.1% and 86.2%, respectively.

  • This study was conducted to find out the successive habitual practice of dietary life and all the educational tasks for the purpose of activating with female college students in Korea and Japan. The reesults are as follows. Housewives in both countries prepare ${\ulcorner}the\;same\;menu{\lrcorner}$ for dinner about 65%. ${\ulcorner}The\;rate\;of\;domestic\;manufacturing\;of\;preservated\;food\;{\lrcorner}$ is superior in Korea. ${\ulcorner}Goch'ujang{\lrcorner}$ is made by the 92% of Koreans, ${\ulcorner}Doenjang{\lrcorner}\;89%,\;{\ulcorner}Ganjang{\lrcorner}\;48%,\;{\ulcorner}Oiji{\lrcorner}\;44%\;and\;{\ulcorner}Kimchi{\lrcorner}\;40%.\;{\ulcorner}Umeboshi{\lrcorner}$ is made by the 65% of Japanese, ${\ulcorner}Rakkyo-Zuke{\lrcorner}\;37%,\;{\ulcorner}Kajitsu-syu{\lrcorner}\;40%,\;and\;{\ulcorner}Miso{\lrcorner}$ 27%. Korea has more diverse kinds of food. People eat out ${\ulcorner}when\;they\;have\;special\;home \;events{\lrcorner},\;{\ulcorner}when\;they\;would\;like\;to\;do{\lrcorner},\;and\;{\ulcorner}when\;they\;are\;going\;out{\lrcorner}$, It means that to eat out is one of the daily dinning styles. Therefore, for those who are engaged in eating house business it is necessary to form their righteous view of evaluation. Koreans learn more various items of table manner than Japan, which are the symbols of dietary culture. ${\ulcorner}Carriage{\lrcorner}\;and\;{\ulcorner}Eating\;politely{\lrcorner}$ are common items. The extent to which ${\ulcorner}people\;practice\;table\;manner{\lrcorner}$ and to which ${\ulcorner}people\;think\;of\;it\;as\;being\;worth\;practicing{\lrcorner}$ are high in Japan than Korea.

Analysis of Effectiveness of Spectrum of Energy and Image Quality Evaluation by Aluminium Filter in the added Compound Filtration (에너지 스펙트럼과 화질평가를 통한 복합부가여과에서 알루미늄 여과판의 효율성 분석)

  • This study analysed the effectiveness of aluminium(Al) filter in the added compound filtration for the removal of characteristic radiation by energy spectrum and image evaluation. 0.1, 0.2, 0.3 mm copper with and without 1 mm Al were evaluated. The energy spectrum was measured using the GATE and evaluated separately by each energy. Image quality was evaluated by PSNR, MAE, MSE, CNR, SNR and qualitative analysis was performed by seven items for resolution and contrast from chest x-ray criteria of National Cancer Screening and Cardiovascular evaluation table. In the analysis of the quality of the energy per photon spectrum with the exception of a low energy region, without Al were superior in all area. PSNR MAE, MSE, CNR, SNR and qualitative analysis were the same or slightly better. PSNR was over 30 dB and all significant and the p>0.05 in the T-test of qualitative analysis. The energy spectrum and image quality have little difference between before and after use of Al filter. Therefore, it is effective to use the Al filter for the radiation dose management with the compensation capability of DR system.

  • This paper discusses a series of experiments including material improvement in order to ensure quality of grouting for the post-tensioned structure. In prestressed concrete, grouting refers to the construction procedure of filling empty space of duct enclosing with strands using cementitious material, To date, adequate quality control of the grouting has not been established in Korea because the relationship between the grouting and durability of post-tensioned structure is not well-recognized. The Korean standard does not consider the important material characteristic, wick effect, which is caused by strands in the ducts and current standard testing method unlikely quantify reasonable material segregation. As a result, the grout material, which meets the current material standards, may exhibit excessive bleeding water or shrinkage during construction. In this study, international codes and standards related to grouting were surveyed. The ratio of constituents and novel admixtures were suggested to meet equivalently with these standards. Performance of this enhanced grout was compared to common domestic grout using the international standard testing method. A series of mock-up specimens considering geometry of PC beam was constructed and grout flow pattern was observed as the grout was injected. It was observed that the grouting performance was highly influenced by material properties and filling characteristic can be varied depending on geometry of ducts.

A Study on the Factors Affecting Land Prices Caused by the Development of Industrial Complex (산업단지 개발에 따른 지가형성요인에 관한 연구)

  • Since officially assessed land price system was introduced, it has functioned as the criterion for establishing and implementing real estate policies. However, there is a controversial issue about the adequacy of the officially assessed land price system. The problem is that it is difficult to establish a statistical model due to too many land characteristics. Also, local economy, macroeconomic environments and development plans are not reflected in the land price evaluation model. Considering longitudinal and cross-sectional variables, a two-way error component panel model was used in this study. This analysis model includes variables reflecting land characteristics, macroeconomic volatility, and development project. The Paju LCD Industrial Complex was selected as a analysis area and an empirical analysis was performed. According to the analysis, the number of significant land characteristic variables were 14(31%) under 5% significance level. Macroeconomic volatility has had an influence on the land price and year variable reflecting development project has consistently been significant since the industrial complex was designated. Therefore, this study suggests that the land price evaluation model should be improved by simplifying land characteristic variables and including macroeconomic and regional economic variables.

Korean High School Students' Understanding of the Concept of Correlation (우리나라 고등학생들의 상관관계 이해도 조사)

  • Correlation is a basic statistical concept which is necessary for understanding the relationship between two variables when they change values. In the middle school curriculum of Korea, only informal definition of correlation is taught with two-way data representations such as scatter plots and contingency tables. In this study, we investigated Korean high school students' understanding of correlation using a test consisting of 35 items about interpretation of scatter plot, contingency table, and text in realistic situation. 216 students from a high school in Seoul took the test for 20 minutes. From the results, we could observe the following: First, students did not have right criteria for determining the strength of correlation presented in scatter plots. Most of students could determine if there is correlation/no correlation and if the correlation is positive/negative by seeing the data presented in scatter plots. However, they did not judge by the closeness to the regression line but rather judged by the closeness between data points. Second, when statements about comparing the strength of correlation in the context of real life situation were given in text, the students had difficulty in understanding the distribution-related characteristic of the bi-variate data. Students had difficulty in figuring out the local distribution characteristic of data, which cannot be guessed merely based on the expression 'The correlation is strong' without statistical knowledge of correlation. Third, a large number of students could not judge the association between two variabels using conditional proportions when qualitative data are given in 2-by-2 tables. They made judgement by the absolute cell count and when the marginal sum of two categories are different for explanatory variable they thought the association could not be determined. From these results, we concluded that educational measures are required in order to remove such misconceptions and to improve understanding of correlation. Considering that the current mathematics curriculum does not cover the concept of correlation, we need to improve the curriculum as well.

  • The researches for reduce $CO_2$ are going along animatedly in hole industry area. In construction area, the researches to minimize $CO_2$ emission are progressing variously. The researches to minimize $CO_2$ emission based on $CO_2$ emission. The method measuring $CO_2$ emission are using $CO_2$ emission coefficient on fuel consumption, LCA and an inter-industry relation table. Especially, the methods using the carbon emission coefficient based on fuel consumption are 3 types(Tier1~Tier3) of IPCC. Present, the most using method(Tier1) is using the fuel consumption and the carbon emission coefficient. But because this method do not effect each vehicle distance and driving environment, we can't calculate right $CO_2$ emission. Especially construction project's $CO_2$ emission could be different by project's characteristic. However, we can't apply these difference with present methods. So we need methodology calculating $CO_2$ emission by applying personal project's characteristic and these methodology's most important things is directly measuring $CO_2$ emission of construction equipment which use energy. The object of this study is to develop the $CO_2$ emission calculation methodology which occur in construction process, is to suggest ways to measure in real time $CO_2$ emission from construction equipment.
