  • Generally, the Doubly Salient Machine such as Switched Reluctance Motor doesn't have Permanent Magnet, it sometimes adopts permanent magnet or DC filed winding for high efficiency or adjustable speed control. In this paper, adjustable speed range is compared for Doubly Salient Permanent Magnet Machine (DSPM), Brushless Doubly Fed Doubly Salient Machine (BDFDS) and Hybrid Excited Doubly Salient Machine (HEDS). Especially, air-gap flux density to the DC field current is shown and the operating speed as the field-weakening is estimated.

  • This paper proposes new control method of maximum power point tracking for the seaflow generation system. This control system is performed by using the duty ratio control of DC/DC converter. An advantage of MPPT(Maximum Power Point Tracking)control method presented in this paper is not necessary to use the seaflow turbine characteristic at various seaflow speed and measure the tidal speed and/or the rotation speed of the seaflow generator. Therefore the resulting system ha s the characteristics of lower cost, higher efficiency and lower complexity. The fuzzy controller is used to control the duty ratio of DC/DC converter. So the reactivity and the reliablilty of the generation system is developed. Proposed control method was analyzed mathematically and tested by computer simulation by using Matlab $Simulink^{(R)}$.

  • In the stereolithography process, the accuracy of cured shape depends on laser power, scanning speed, scanning pattern, resin characteristics etc. When three-dimensional objects are built, higher laser power gives higher building efficiency. Normally we could control scanning speed and scanning pattern, which affect curing thickness and generate volume of curl in & after building. Oligomer, Monomer and Initiator are major components. Kinds and of them decide characteristic of resin. In this paper, we deak with major facts and their characteristics for precision shape building.

  • Miniature BLDC is widely used in industrial applications because of high driving efficiency and high torque characteristic. Otherwise the general BLDC, torque ripple of a high speed miniature BLDC is serous during conduction due to the very low electrical time constant. This paper present instant voltage and current control for torque ripple reduction of a high speed miniature BLDC. Computer simulation and experiment test for 40,000 rpm miniature BLDC show the verification of the proposed control method.

  • A pulse with modulation(PWM) that keeps a constant angle of dwell and adjust duty ratio is a good method to control a speed of SRM. And a method of one pulse control is proper a operation on range of high speed in SRM for a good energy efficiency. Because PWM method is more safety than one pulse method, conversion of those is best choice according the speed range. So, some algorithm is need for smooth conversion of the mode of control. This paper presents a factor of conversion that proper the conversion of control mode between PWM and one pulse method This factor is from estimation of torque and proper at the variable range of conversion and show the better conversion characteristic than constant factor of conversion.

  • In the last few years, the regulations for efficiency grade of the three phase induction motor are internationally being discussed and upgraded for the protection of environment and energy saving. So the efficiency improvement and the reliable test result are essential to determine the premium grade three phase induction motor. While a study on developing the efficiency motor is active, there is little research about the guarantee for efficiency. So in this paper, the dispersion characteristic of the efficiency is studied using uncertainty theory for the three phase induction motor to improve the reliability of efficiency. The values such as input voltage, current, speed, torque were obtained by loss separation method to evaluate the uncertainty. From the result, it was known that the important loss factor could affect the uncertainty is the stray loss.

편심캠을 이용한 소형감속기의 변속특성에 관한 연구 (Study on Shift characteristic of Small reducer using Eccentric arm)

  • 본 연구에서는 부피는 기존 1단 감속기와 동일한 수준을 유지하면서 2단의 감속비를 갖는 소형감속기에 대한 개발을 위하여 새로운 형태의 편심캠을 이용한 감속기의 연구를 진행하였다. 따라서 자동차에 적용되는 무단변속기의 개념을 이용하여 2단 감속기를 설계하였다. 캠은 감속풀리와 가속풀리에 각각 연결되어있는 V-벨트를 압착하여 미끄러짐을 최소화하기 위하여 텐셔너 역할을 할 수 있도록 $180^{\circ}$의 위상차를 두고 편심형태를 가지는 구조로 설계하였다. 또한 캠의 직경을 35mm로 하고, 외경의 폭을 18mm로 하여 v-벨트의 외측부분과 캠이 완벽하게 접촉할 수 있는 구조로 설계하였다. 감속을 위한 저속 풀리는 입력축에 지름 50.8mm의 풀리를 설치하고, 출력축에 지름76.2mm의 풀리를 설치하였다. 가속을 위한 고속 풀리에는 입력축에 지름 76.2mm의 풀리를 설치하고, 출력축에 지름 50.8mm의 풀리를 설치하였다. 설계된 내용을 토대로 변속기의 동력전달효율실험과 발열특성에 대한 실험을 진행하여 타당성을 검증하였다. 또한 타당성 검증을 통하여 감속기의 적합성을 증명하였다.

래이디얼 피스톤 펌프의 효율 특성 연구 (A Characteristic Study of Efficiency in Radial Piston Pump)

  • A pump which is a fundamental device in a hydraulic system affects on overall system performance to a great deal. Such problems as leakage and solid friction loss become important in field applications, especially for the case of operation under high pressure and at high speed. So the research on this kind of subjects is necessary to improve the performance of hydraulic devices. A high pressure radial piston pump is analyzed here, which has a stationary cylinder block. It pumps hydraulic fluid by letting camring push a piston in a cylinder. Fluid leaks between the piston and cylinder so that it deteriorates the pump efficiency. Furthermore, the piston happens to touch the cylinder wall to increase the friction loss and wear. In this research, by means of FDM, volumetric, mechanical and overall efficiencies are observed by varying several design Parameters and operation conditions. Design values or their trends are presented to improve these efficiencies.
