The main purpose of this study is the analysis for character's appearance by the basic plane figure, and it has studied on the authority of recognition capability which is to catch the simple shape rapidly and clearly rather than complex shape. For this study, I established the standard of analysis and then applied that to the characters which were selected in broadcasting domestic kids animation on EBS. Through this procedure, I analyzed character's appearance with the distribution chart. As the result, the circular and oval shapes are the most frequently used shapes for character's appearance. Finally, I expect the result of this study could be one of the design index for the character creation in practical environment.

  • AI technology is spreading not only to industrial fields, but also to culture, art, and content fields. In this paper, we proposed a system based on AI technology that can automate the process of reproducing contents using characters for movie contents. After creating the basic appearance of the character by using the StyleGAN2 model from the video extracted from the movie contents, analyzing the character's personality and propensity using the extracted dialogue data, it was determined from the contemplative appearance based on the yin-yang and five elements to the character's propensity. Accordingly, the external characteristics are reflected in the character. Using the OpenPose model, a character's motion is created, and the finally generated data is integrated to reproduce the content. It is expected that many movie contents can be reproduced through the study of the proposed system.

  • The purpose of the present research was to investigate (I) the acquisition of character constancy of self and others as a function of age; (2) the pattern of acquisition of character constancy, and (3) the relationships between character constancy and conservation of number and mass. The subjects of this study were 160 children, 20 boys and 20 girls at each grade level, kindergarter through grade 3. The Character Constancy Tasks devised bi Rotenberg (1982) and conservation task of number and mass were administered to each child. Chi square, Guttman Scale analysis and Pearson's Correlation were used for the statistical analysis of data. The findings showed that there was increase with age in character constancy of others and of sell in that there was increase with age in children's belief that the characteristics of another person are stable across time and consistent despite changes in a person's appearance. Character constancy of others and of self were acquired in the developmental stages of identity, stability, and consistency. Character constancy of others and self correlated with the conservation of number and mass.

As the appearance's importance is being magnified, the attractive appearance and favourable impression is an important standard for job performance and social position, and used as the way to reach the social goal. This study does investigate the design's kind and character of the beard which belongs to the male exclusive property and compare the differences of the impression's formation according to the beard design. The empirical results confirmed that the male beard design formated the various impressions according to the designs and their mutual relationship existed. Therefore, the beard is a symbol of maleness and an expression for the social position and personal character, whereas it possesses the very important meaning as the influencing factor on the impression's change. First, the pre stimuli were finished through the pre survey for composition of questionnaire in order to evaluate the impression after selection of experimental models and beard types for measuring instruments. Second, sixty three university students were surveyed by pre stimuli and questionnaire as pre experiment, and afterwards the measuring instruments and experimental design were revised. Third, the stimuli completed (nine beard designs) were intentionally well distributed as questionnaire by sex and ages in Seoul metropolitan and her environment. and the factorial analysis and the coefficient of Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ for reliability test were completed for questionnaire's validity using SPSS/PC+ Window Ver. 12.0.

  • When simulating large crowds, it is inevitable that the models and motions of many characters will be cloned. McDonnell et al. analyzed user's perception to find cloned characters. They established that clones of appearance are far easier to detect than motion clones. In this paper, we expand McDonnell's research[1], with the focus on multiple clones and the appearance variety in real-time game environment. Introducing the perceptual organization, we show the appearance variety of crowd clones by using game items and texture modulation. Other factors that influence the ability to detect clones were examined, such as the moving direction and distance between character clones. Our results provide novel insights and useful thresholds that will assist in creating more realistic crowds of game environments.

  • This study examined whether any differences can be found in desirable character traits and creative personality characteristics depending on the appearance management behaviors of male and female adolescents in Gwangju, South Korea. It was conducted by administering a self-report survey to 544 male and female middle school students. The collected survey data were analyzed by Means, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, Factor analysis, One-way ANOVA, and Duncan-test using the SPSS/PC WIN 19.0 statistical program. The results were as follows: According to the results of the survey, total coordination seeking in appearance management behavior is very important to teens and is deeply related to desirable character traits and creative personality characteristics. Desirable character traits show positive results for basic living habits, filial piety, respect and affection. Creative personality characteristics show positive results for curiosity, open thinking, risk taking, assignment completion and esthetic appreciation. Considering these findings, there is a need for supplementary content on total coordination seeking behavior in home economics courses. Positive effects in terms of desirable character traits and creative personality characteristics can be expected through after class activities involving clothing habits or searching for a path in life and given the depth of education related to total coordination through a free semester system.
