Chaos communication system can improve a system security due to characteristics of non-periodic, non-predictability, broadband signal and easy implementation. Also, chaos signal is sensitive to initial conditions of chaos map. By these reasons, security of chaos communication system is superior to digital communication system. BER performance of COOK modulation system is better than other chaos modulation systems, even if COOK modulation system uses an asynchronous receiver. However, security and safety of COOK modulated signal are worse than other chaos modulation systems, because information bits can be easily predicted from COOK modulated signal. In this paper, for security improvement of COOK modulated signal, we propose a novel Scrambling COOK modulation system by applying the scrambling method. Conventional COOK modulated signal can be predicted, because chaos signal is generated when data is only 1. However, proposed system cannot be predicted, because chaos signal is generated when data is 0 or 1. Therefore, security and safety of transmitted signal in scrambling COOK modulation system is superior to conventional COOK modulation system.

Due to the spread of mobile communication with the development of computer network, nowadays various types of multimedia data play an important role in many areas such as entertainments, culture contents, e-commerce or medical science. But for the real application of these data, the security in the course of saving or transferring them through the public network should be assured. In this sense, many encryption algorithm have been developed and utilized. Nonetheless, most of them have focused on the text data. So they may not be suitable to the multimedia application because of their large size and real time constraint. In this paper, a chaotic map has been employed to create a symmetric stream type of encryption scheme which may be applied to the digital images with a large amounts of data. Then an efficient algebraic encryption algorithm based on the elementary operations of the Boolean matrix and image data characteristics.

The purpose of this study is to analysis BTS's image based on Peirce's semiotics. Methodologies of this study are literature study to analyze the structure of idol image based on Peirce's theory of signs, case study and FGI analyzing the semiotic characteristics of BTS images. The research results of analyzing the semiotic features of BTS images by period of the BTS album are as follows. First, in the early days of their debut, they emphasized the image of hip-hop and expressed their will to resist and rebel against the older generation with a challenging and strong image. Second, during the 'The most beautiful day of life' period, image of wandering, rebellion, growth, and youth of teenagers was expressed. Third, in the 'Love Yourself' period, BTS showed various image changes between natural and pure image to splendid image by expressing the process of finding confidence during chaotic moment of growing. Fourth, during the 'Map of the Soul' period, the exploration and reflection on themselves were expressed in an outwardly splendid and bright manner, while at the same time expressing the inner darkness in a contrasting manner. Fifth, in the 'pandemic period', they expressed hopeful energy and willness with the image of mature and attractive man and bright and casual image. Their growth and change have been directly linked to the change of their image, and their image showed a successful signification with complementary combination of icons, indexes, and symbols.

Analysis of multi-channel seismic reflection profiles collected from the Ulleung Basin reveals that the Quaternary sequence consists of four stratigraphic units separated by erosional unconformities. Individual stratigraphic unit includes eighteen mass transport deposits which are variable in geometric characteristics and spatial distribution. Each mass transport deposit on the seismic profile is acoustically characterized by chaotic or transparent seismic facies, and shows wedge or lens-shaped external geometry. The mass transport deposits, which comprise a succession of stacked wedges, mainly occur on the southern slope, and their thickness gradually decreases toward the basin plain. The time structure map of erosional unconformities shows that a tectonic-induced structural high and troughs toward the northwest and northeast are developed at the central part of the basin. Based on the isochron map, the mass transport deposits, originated from southern part of the study area, transported to the basin plain and can be divided into two groups by the structural high. Consequently, the mass transport deposits within the Quaternary sequence in the Ulleung Basin are largely controlled by the large amounts of sediment supply, dissociation of gas hydrate during the lowstands, and central structural high.
