  • Generally the neural network and the Fuzzy compensative algorithms are applied to forecast the time series for power demand with the characteristics of a nonlinear dynamic system, but, relatively, they have a few prediction errors. They also make long term forecasts difficult because of sensitivity to the initial conditions. In this paper, we evaluate the chaotic characteristic of electrical power demand with qualitative and quantitative analysis methods and perform a forecast simulation of electrical power demand in regular sequence, attractor reconstruction and a time series forecast for multi dimension using Lyapunov Exponent (L.E.) quantitatively. We compare simulated results with previous methods and verify that the present method is more practical and effective than the previous methods. We also obtain the hourly predictability of time series for power demand using the L.E. and evaluate its accuracy.

  • In this paper, we examine and analyze the concept of different non-integer chaotic systems with external disturbances, uncertainties, and input non-linearities. We consider both drive and response systems with external bounded disturbances and uncertainties. We also consider non-linear control inputs. For synchronization, we introduce the adaptive sliding mode technique, in which we establish the stability of the controlled system by a control which estimates uncertainties and disturbances, and then applies a suitable sliding surface to control them. We use computer simulations to established the efficacy and adeptness of the prospective scheme.

  • This document traces the new technologies development based on a deep classical Hill method improvement. Based on the chaos, this improvement begins with the 256 element body construction, which is to replace the classic ring used by all encryption systems. In order to facilitate the application of algebraic operators on the pixels, two substitution tables will be created, the first represents the discrete logarithm, while the second represents the discrete exponential. At the same time, a large invertible matrix whose structure will be explained in detail will be the subject of the advanced classical Hill technique improvement. To eliminate any linearity, this matrix will be accompanied by dynamic vectors to install an affine transformation. The simulation of a large number of images of different sizes and formats checked by our algorithm ensures the robustness of our method.

  • Fractal geometry, a relatively new branch of mathematics, was first introduced by Benoit Mandelbrot in 1975. Since then, its applications have expanded into various fields of natural science. In fact, it has been recognized as one of the three significant scientific discoveries of the mid-20th century, along with the Dissipative System and Chaos Theory. With the help of fractal geometry, designers can create intricate and expressive artistic patterns, using the concept of self-similarity found in nature. The impact of fractal geometry on the digital art world is significant and its exploration could lead to new avenues for creativity and expression. This paper aims to explore and analyze the development and applications of fractal geometry in digital art design. It also aims to showcase the benefits of applying fractal geometry in art creation and paves the way for future research on sacred geometry.

  • The Purpose of this study was an analysis of high school student's understanding level about concepts of special relativity through in-depth interview. The 8 participants were 10th grade students in H high school in Ulsan city, who were interviewed and analyzed in the results of the interview about basic concepts of special relativity using achievement checklist in 6 situations(principle of constancy of light velocity, principle of relativity, relativity of simultaneity, garage paradox, rocket paradox). As results of the checklist, the participants showed high achievement in the content level of simple phenomena and simple concepts related to special relativity. But they showed low achievement in the concept level for fundamental understanding of special relativity. As results of the interview, it was found that the participants decided the order of events depending on their intuition and had a difficulty to apply the coordinate system to real situation, even though they mathematically understood it. In addition, some participants who could not understand the inertial coordinate system explained paradoxes of relativity depending on their intuition and had learner's chaos. Finally, though high school students usually being in formal operational stage, some students had difficulty to draw phenomena of space and time in two dimensional plane.

  • Since an arrester has been generally used at the distribution line and abroad for the protection of electrical equipments against overvoltage (or abnormal surge) taking place in or from an electrical system, a fault, especially, in the distribution line is very likely to result in the destruction of insulation of other protection devices to cause an overall paralysis of a power system, a chaos. Considering the importance of arresters, its earlier replacement than its proposed life cycle causes an economical loss, and a negligence not to replace or repair it in time gives rise to a crucial accidence. The purpose of this paper is to invent an electric leakage current detector and to solve such problems by the continuous and regular inspection of an arrester.

  • A fishing simulator for towed fishing gear was investigated in order to mimic the fish behavior in capture process and investigate fishing selectivity. A fish behavior model using a psycho-hydraulic wheel activated by stimuli is established to introduce Lorenz chaos equations and a neural network system and to generate the components of realistic fish capture processes. The fish positions within the specified gear geometry are calculated from normalized intensities of the stimuli of the fishing gear components or neighboring fish and then these are related to the sensitivities and the abilities of the fish. This study is applied to four different towed gears i.e. a bottom trawl, a midwater trawl, a two-boat seine, and an anchovy boat seine and for 17 fish species as mainly caught. The Alpha cluster computer system and Fortran MPI (Message-Passing Interface) parallel programming were used for rapid calculation and mass data processing in this chaotic behavior model. The results of the simulation can be represented as animation of fish movements in relation to fishing gear using Open-GL and C graphic programming and catch data as well as selectivity analysis. The results of this simulator mimicked closely the field studies of the same gears and can therefore be used in further study of fishing gear design, predicting selectivity and indoor training systems.

  • In this study, the psycho-physiological response of drivers was investigated in terms of EEG(Electroencephalogram), especially with the fractal dimensions computed by Chaotic algorithm. The Chaotic algorithm Is well Known to sensitively analyze the non-linear information such as brain waves. An automobile with a fully equipped data acquisition system was used to collect the data. Ten healthy subjects participated in the experiment. EEG data were collected while subjects were driving the car between Won-ju and Shin-gal J.C. on Young-Dong highway The results were presented in terms of 3-Dimensional attractor to confirm the chaotic nature of the EEG data. The correlation dimension and fractal dimension were calculated to evaluate the complexity of the brain activity as the driving duration changes. In particular, the fractal dimension indicated a difference between the driving condition and non-driving condition while other spectral variables showed inconsistent results. Based upon the fractal dimension, drivers processed the most information at the beginning of the highway driving and the amount of brain activity gradually decreased and stabilized. No particular decrease of brain activity was observed even after 100 km driving. Considering the sensitivity and consistency of the analysis by Chaotic algorithm, the fractal dimension can be a useful parameter to evaluate the psycho-physiological responses of human brain at various driving conditions.

  • In this paper, We analyze and inspect the problem of our country PSTN subscriber telephone number and suggest the ISDN/PSTN subsciber numbering plan in the future. Expecially, when you eastablish plan to change present telephone number system to ISDN telephone number system, public goverment and public office which has many calls have to be given a same number that many people want and being easy rememberance thoughout the country. Therefore we think that it is saving hours and reduce lost calls. As concrete action of convert plan it must be made consistent numbering plan when the numbering reorganization is carried out in Korea before T-time. If a partial is not carried out, it should be given when the telephone number is newly-organized or the big buliding and goverment and public office eastablich RSS individually. At that time chaos will be minimized.

  • The Addiction problems have been became a social problem; the social efforts continue to solve these problems. One of those efforts, we need to establish a mathematical modeling for an addictive model to perform analysis of behavior by using this modeling. We need to process the research that can be judged before and after addictive status with result of the behavior analysis. We have to process an observation of transition from before to after addictive status. According to those necessary, this paper proposed the physical exercise model that is composed by novel second order system, which consisted of Spring-Damper-Mass system with equivalence in order to evolve an addictive equation for physical exercise. This paper also is analyzed by the behaviors for those the addictive equation of physical exercise.
