  • This study was carried out to investigate the relation between the Onbyung and the skin disease, and classify the medical treatment by some categories. The results were as follows ; 1. Onbyung reduces the Eun(陰) by the fever and the skin disease results from the deficiency of the Eun and blood. 2. We can grasp the depth of the disease and the damage of the Jung Gi(正氣) by the observation of the every condition on the skin disease. 3. Medical treatment 1. Hae Phyo Bub(解表法) Using the method of the perspiration, we take care of the preservation of the sap. 2. Cheong Gi Bub(淸氣法) of the using Gypsum and Tong Ha Bub(通下法) of the using Dae Whang(大黃). A. Cheong Gi Bub(淸氣法) When the Sa(邪) stay the Gi area(氣分), we use the radiational material or the Wha Sub(化濕) material with Gypsum. B. Tong Ha Bub(通下法) We reduce the evil fever by the Ha Bub(下法). 3. Cheong Yul Hae Dog Bub(淸熱解毒法) and Ja Eum Bub(滋陰法) 4. Wha Sub Bub(化濕法) This treatment reduce the fever by eliminating the urine or the sweat.

  • This study investigates a mathematical subject, 'triangles' in mathematics books of Chosun Dynasty, in special Muk Sa Jib San Bub(默思集算法), Gu Il Jib(九一集), San Hak Ib Mun(算學入門), Ju Hae Su Yong(籌解需用), and San Sul Gwan Gyun(算術管見). It is likely that they apt to avoid manipulating general triangles except the right triangles and the isosceles triangles etc. Our investigation says that the progress of triangle-related contents in Chosun mathematics can fall into three stages: measurement of the triangle-shaped fields, transition from the object of measurement to the object of geometrical study, and examination of definition, properties and validation influenced by western mathematics.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the empirical elements of non-Korean traditional musicians in the process of Pansori music listening. 5 non-Korean traditional musicians who are not professionally trained Korean music were participated in this study. The data were collected in depth interviews and analyzed from modified ground theory method. The findings showed that the elements of performer's voice, Chang-bub, contents, Gosu's buk sound and Gosu's role evoked various physical, emotional reponses and thoughts in all listeners. Through these responses the listeners awared internal issues related to inner problems and positive intervention aroused inner feelings. Also, emotional responses and awareness were reorganized their negative emotion and resolved through the different dimension of Pansori music.

  • Korean MEJUES were prepared by means of ordinary, Improved and compromised methods, and analyses of the changes in various chemical compositions of the Soy-sauces throughout the fermentation period of 10 weeks. Now, their result, are as the following as. (1) In all of the Soy-sauces under study the content of organic acids showed a slight increase upto 4 week, and a marked increased after this period. (2) In all of the soy-sauces the total nitrogenous content indicated a rapid increase until 4 weeks, and a slower increase after this. (3) In all of the soy-souses, the content of free amino acids displayed a liner proportional increament until 8 weeks and then slower increose. (4) In all of the soy-souses the content of reducing sugars indicated a slight increase until 4 weeks, and after this it showed a rapid decrease until 4 weeks, in the improved soy-souses and, then maintained an almost flat curve. In the ordinary and Compromised soy-souses there was a rapid decrease in reducing sugars until 6 weeks, and then an almost 리at curves. (5) In the ordinary soy-sauce the SAMWOL-ZANG-BUB(soy-sauce prepared in March) is considered to be based on a comparatively scientific ground during the fermentative period. (6) In order to improve the taste in ordinary soy-sauce it is favorable to delay the period of preparation. The adequate period appears requires 8 weeks at least. Accordingly it is recommended to mix the materials with carbohydrate source. (7) In the improved soy-sauce according to the SAMWOL-ZANG-BUB of ordinary soy-sauce it is thought that 8 weeks were adequate for the fermentation. (8) The compromised method may be recommended for the improvement of nomemade soy-souce, and it may be also superior to the ordinary soy-sauce in quality.

  • Recurrent laryngeal nerve injury can develop following cervical or thoracic surgery; however, few reports have described intraoperative recurrent laryngeal nerve monitoring. Consensus regarding the use of this technique during thoracic surgery is lacking. We used intraoperative recurrent laryngeal nerve monitoring in a patient with contralateral vocal cord paralysis who was scheduled for completion pneumonectomy. This case serves as an example of intraoperative recurrent laryngeal nerve monitoring during thoracic surgery and supports this indication for its use.

  • On this study, $CO_2$ gas, net of Ar gas, and mixed gas in solid wire(AWS ER 70S-6) and flux cored wire(AWS E71T-1) were used to weld on Mild steel(SS400). After the progress, the status changes of the welds in Mild steel(SS400) were investigated with compositional changes. For stable experiments, welding was conducted using the automatic feeder. Radiation testing, hardness testing, chemical composition analysis and penetrated cross-section were measured. Through these experiments, shapes of penetrated cross-section, chemical composition changes, and weld defects according to the variation of welding gas were known. Weld defects and weld cross-sectional shapes by the variation of the welding voltage were also detected.

  • B$\Phi$rrensen proposed a coarse mesh, three-dimensional one-and-half group diffusion scheme for computing the gross power distribution in light water reactors as an alternative to the conventional fine mesh finite difference approach in dealing with three dimensional problems, which require a prohibitively long computing time. The method reported takes extremely small execution time. However, its computational accuracy has not been investigated yet. The B$\Phi$rrensen method is revised in this work and both efficiency and accuracy are examined by applying it to IAEA benchmark problem and RIS$\Phi$ benchmark problem. It is found that two modifications on core-reflector boundary conditions and B$\Phi$rrensen's model constants may improve computational accuracy of power distribution calculation.

  • In this paper. nuclear characteristics of TRIGA Mark-III has been analyzed in detail for six different fuel options. Presently, 70 w/o enriched FLIP fuels are adopted for TRIGA core to improve fuel lifetime. However, such highly enriched fuels are not easily obtained due to nonproliferation treaty. This research examines the possible substitution for FLIP fuels with high density fuels without reducing the nuclear performance. This work will provide long-time plan for TRIGA operation.
