Background: The nematode species belonging to genus Anisakis occur at their third larval stage in numerous marine teleost fish species worldwide and known to cause accidental human infection through the ingestion of raw or undercooked fish or squids. They may also draw the attention of consumers because of the visual impact of both alive and dead worms. Therefore, the information on their geographical distribution and clear species identification is important for epidemiological survey and further prevention of human infection. Results: For identification of anisakid nematodes species isolated from largehead hairtail (Trichiurus japonicus), polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) analysis of internal transcribed spacers of ribosomal DNA were conducted. Mitochondrial cytochrome c oxidase subunit 2 gene was also sequenced, and phylogenetic analysis was conducted. From the largehead hairtail (n = 9), 1259 nematodes were isolated in total. Most of the nematodes were found encapsulated throughout the viscera (56.2 %, 708/1259) or moving freely in the body cavity (41.5 %, 523/1259), and only 0.3 % (4/1259) was found in the muscles. By PCR-RFLP, three different nematode species were identified. Anisakis pegreffii was the most dominantly found (98.7 %, 1243/1259) from the largehead hairtail, occupying 98.7 % (699/708) of the nematodes in the mesenteries and 98.1 % (513/523) in the body cavity. Hybrid genotype (Anisakis simplex ${\times}$ A. pegreffii) occupied 0.5 %, and Hysterothylacium sp. occupied 0.2 % of the nematodes isolated in this study. Conclusions: The largehead hairtail may not significantly contribute accidental human infection of anisakid nematode third stage larvae because most of the nematodes were found from the viscera or body cavity, which are not consumed raw. But, a high prevalence of anisakid nematode larvae in the largehead hairtail is still in concern because they may raise food safety problems to consumers. Immediate evisceration or freezing of fish after catch will be necessary before consumption.
International logistics systems for cross-border trading aim not only to reduce costs and time, but also to maximize added value. For accuracy of shipping time, cost reduction, rapidity, and safety improvement, demand for Ro-Ro shipping as a global supply chain operating system has increased. To anticipate these demands, this study estimates the optimal demand and scale of Ro-Ro berth construction by analyzing shipping volumes between Korea and Japan. Based on Ro-Ro shipping speeds and distances between Korea and Japan, the shipping volume (container and general cargo) of Busan port is sorted into two separate zones. After analyzing the ratio of items that have great potential benefits from using Ro-Ro shipping, we estimate possible shipping volumes using Ro-Ro berth provision. The results reveal that two berths for 20,000t vessels are additionally required to accommodate the estimated volume. Results suggest the construction of an exclusive Ro-Ro berth in Busan port. This would not only accommodate the demand between Korea and Japan, but also provide a way to avoid the lean-to-one-side port policy.

The performance of projects has always been an area of interest in the construction industry. Roles of all construction supply chain partners are necessary; however the role of a contractor firm in the construction project is pivotal. So, this research intended to explore a Construction Firm's performance criteria which could measure the level of performance of that firm in an ongoing project. Data was collected from construction professionals working in three principal project participant organizations, namely Owner, Consultant and Contractor. A total of 113 nos. of performance measuring items were sorted from literature review and used to collect data. Statistical tools processed by SPSS program was employed to analyze the data. Out of total 113 items, only 65 nos. of variables were found to be acceptable to every population group of this study. Factor analysis revealed 12 key performance predicting factors (KPPF) with 53 predictive indicators. 12 KPPFS with index weight are: work progress and smoothening (9.3%), change order management and work accuracy (9.1%), business relationship building (8.1%), adequacy of construction work procedure (8.6%), quality performance (8.0%), health and site safety adequacy (8.8%), Innovative contractor (8.0%), adequacy of construction site information (6.8%), compliance with contract plan/specification requirements (8.9%), creditworthiness and financial capability (8.3%), intra-agency relationship and responsiveness (7.0%) and resource management (9.2%). These results could be useful to project management body to evaluate performance of its contractor firm on site as well as the contractor itself to assess own performance and its subcontractors on-site.
Background: In terms of the Level 3 probabilistic safety assessment (Level 3 PSA), ingestion of food that had been exposed to radioactive materials is important to assess the intermediate- and long-term radiological dose. Because the ingestion dose is considerably dependent upon the agricultural and dietary characteristics of each country, the reliability of the assessment results may become diminished if the characteristics of a foreign country are considered. Thus, this study intends to evaluate and analyze the ingestion dose of Korean during a severe accident by completely considering the available agricultural and dietary characteristics in Korea. Materials and Methods: This study uses COMIDA2, which is a program based on dynamic food chain model. It sets the parameters that are appropriate to Korean characteristics so that we can evaluate the inherent ingestion dose of Korean. The results were analyzed by considering the accident date and food category with regard to the $^{137}Cs$. Results and Discussion: The dose and contribution of the food category depicted distinctive differences based on the accident date. Particularly, the ingestion dose during the first and second years depicted a considerable difference by the accident date. However, after the third year, the effect of foliar absorption was negligible and exhibited a similar tendency along with the order of root uptake rate based on the food category. Conclusion: In this study, the agricultural and dietary characteristics of Korea were analyzed and evaluated the ingestion dose of Korean during a severe accident using COMIDA2. By considering the inherent characteristics of Korean, it can be determined that the results of this study will significantly contribute to the reliability of the Level 3 PSA.

In this paper, we propose an algorithm to improve collision avoidance in Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) networks based on IEEE 802.11p. Since IEEE 802.11p adopts CSMA/CA as a multiple access scheme and an emergency warning message (EWM) is delivered to behind vehicles in a multi-hop manner, due to transmission collision, the more vehicles in the vehicle chain results in a longer delay. The longer delay increases the possibility of a rear-end collision. In order to ensure message reception with low latency, we consider implicit acknowledgement of a broadcasted EWM message and propose an algorithm to reduce redundant message transactions, called Two-Way Implicit Acknowledgement (TWIA). By simulations, we show that our proposed algorithm can reduce the latency until the last car receives the message by 9% and the success rate every car receives the message within 0.7sec by 12% at 100 fixed-number-of-car environment.
Through the technology of the 4th industrial revolution, agricultural machinery is becoming increasingly intelligent, and the machine is replacing the role of farmer manpower as a whole. However, safety accidents caused by careless use of agricultural machines and theft accidents due to the difficulty of keeping them are increasing every year. Because agricultural machines do not manage the history of events and accidents unlike automobiles, they are often used for crime. There is also no way to cope with the issues if there happens issues on agricultural machines. In this paper, we propose the system based on block chain which can manage the history of the agricultural machinery by registering the chassis number at the same time when purchasing the agricultural machinery. Since this system contains the history of accident and repair information about the owner's agricultural machinery, it is possible to trace back even if a theft occurs. The proposed system also allows buyers to secure transactions by providing reliable data through inquiry of this system when trading in the secondary market in the future.
In this study, a loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) method to rapidly detect Staphylococcus aureus strains was developed and evaluated by extensively applying a large number of S. aureus isolates from clinical and food samples. Six primers were specially designed for recognizing eight distinct sequences on the species-specific femA gene of S. aureus. The detection limits were 100 fg DNA/tube and $10^4$ CFU/ml. The LAMP assay was applied to 432 S. aureus strains isolated from 118 clinical and 314 food samples. Total detection rates for the LAMP and polymerase chain reaction assays were 98.4% (306/311) and 89.4% (278/311), respectively.

Defense industries which require high reliability need an optimized quality management system with well-planned implementation. And the government should examine the overall status of defense industries, then establish practical policies with a proper support plan in required areas to upgrade the quality management level of manufacturers. Thus, DTaQ developed the model for 2 years from 2014, which specialized in quality management level analysis for defense industries. And a survey has been undertaken with that model by DTaQ and Korea Research Center in 2016. The surveyed companies randomly sampled among those which have more than 30 employees and delivery history over past 3 years, and finally 106 defense industries were selected. This paper present survey method and indexes for survey of defense industry quality management level. The survey was conducted in the order of planning, data collection and data processing, and the validity and reliability of the data were verified to increase objectivity of survey results. The survey contents mainly consist of system quality and management quality. System quality includes Product Development Management, Production Operation Management, supply chain quality management, Safety & Environment Management and Reliability Management, on the other hand, management quality includes Strategic Leadership, Human Resource Management, Customer Market Management and Information & Knowledge Management. Thus this proposes the current overall quality management status of the 106 defense industries and shows level differences by company sizes and manufacturing sectors based on the result of survey. Specifically, this paper enables to track the areas which need prompt government support with the policy directions to make quality management level higher. Therefore, it is expected that this can be used as reference data in establishing quality policies for military supplies in the future.

We have developed a direct polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and electrophoresis method for the diagnosis of bovine theileriosis from whole blood DNA analysis without DNA extraction. The technique empolyed a FoLT (formamide, low temp.) technique and was utilized in the diagnosis of bovine theileriosis. Formamide solubilize the blood cells, and the lowered incubation temperatures reduced protein coagulation. 100-200 nL of whole blood and PCR reagents were introduced directly into a PCR tube. After the amplification, the PCR product (816-bp DNA) was introduced into the electrophoresis system. The results of this analysis were consist with those obtained using purified DNA.
SMEs and small enterprises are making various attempts to manage SMEs in terms of equipment, safety and energy management as well as production management. However, SMEs do not have the investment capacity and it is not easy to build a smart factory to improve management and productivity of SMEs. In this paper, we propose a smart factory construction algorithm that partially integrates the factory equipment currently operated by SMEs. The proposed algorithm supports collection, storage, management and processing of product information and release information through IoT device during the whole manufacturing process so that SMEs' smart factory environment can be constructed and operated in stages. In addition, the proposed algorithm is characterized in that central server manages authentication information between devices to automate the linkage between IoT devices regardless of the number of IoT devices. As a result of the performance evaluation, the proposed algorithm obtained 13.7% improvement in the factory process and efficiency before building the Smart Factory environment, and 19.8% improvement in the processing time in the factory. Also, the cost of input of manpower into process process was reduced by 37.1%.
