Central serous chorioretinopathy is a relatively benign condition of young to middle-aged men, characterized by serous detachment of central retina as a consequence of focal leakage of fluid from the choriocapillaris through a defect in the retinal pigment epithelium. Approximately 80% of central serous chorioretinopathy undergo spontaneous resolution within 6 months. However 20 to 30% of patients with central serous chorioretinopathy have one or more recurrences and undergo chronic courses. In these cases laser photocoagulation is used to burn the leakage site directly, but there is no evidence that it reduces the chance of permanent loss of visual function and recurrence. We have administered stellate ganglion blocks (SGB) on a 43 year old male patient with central serous chorioretinopathy with multiple recurrences and experienced good results. We therefore recommend SGB as an effective treatment for central serous chorioretinopathy in conjunction with other ophthalmological treatments.

A 5-year-old castrated male Golden Retriever dog weighing 15 kg presented with evidence of intestinal intussusception. The patient had cachexia and severe dehydration before being referred to our department. Ultrasound imaging revealed a target sign indicative of intestinal intussusception. Emergency surgery was performed shortly after diagnosis. After a successful surgery, the patient was hospitalised for postoperative care. Initial treatment was aimed at the reversion of dehydration and the provision of adequate nutrition. Fluid therapy and central parenteral nutrition were administered via the peripheral and central venous catheters, respectively. Ten days postoperatively, swelling and edema were observed in the head and neck. Ultrasound and computed tomography confirmed complete blockage of the cranial vena cava due to thrombosis, which consequently obstructed both the left and right jugular veins. For treatment, dalteparin and tissue plasminogen activator were administered. However, the patient lost all of its vital function on the daybreak of postoperative day 11. Venous thrombus formation secondary to central parenteral nutrition application via the central line is a rare but possible complication. Veterinarians who are concerned about taking care of patients receiving CPN through the central line should keep the possibility of venous thrombus formation in mind.

Purpose: This study aims to analyze the inclusive growth in Central Sulawesi Province, an eastern province of Indonesia, up to the districts/cities level. The inclusive growth is analyzed by using Ramos, Ranieri, and Lammens' index that has three indicators which are employment, poverty, and income inequality. Research design, data, and methodology: This study uses panel data of 13 districts/cities in Central Sulawesi Province from 2015 to 2019. The statistical regression used is the panel regression method to analyze the determinants of inclusive growth there. Results: The study found that the average inclusive growth of districts/cities in Central Sulawesi is increasing from the low-level in 2015 to mid-level in 2019. The panel's data regression using fixed effect model FGLS-SUR found Investment (GFCF), Road Infrastructure, HDI, and Processing Industry have a significant positive effect. Regional minimum wage (RMW) has a significant negative effect. Government Expenditure on Education and Health Function has no significant positive effect on inclusive growth. Conclusions: throughout the study period, gini coefficient and poverty rate is slowly decreasing, while employment to population ratio remains volatile in districts/cities of Central Sulawesi.

Effects of formulation KTG075 from edible plants on intestinal function, particularly on Mucin 2 secretion, were examined by loperamide-induced constipation method using Sprague Dawley rats (SD rats, male). Crypt epithelial cells containing more mucus and mucus layer stained with alcian blue were significantly thicker in KTG075 group than control group. When Biogenex AM358 of antibody against Mucin 2 was used, crypt epithelial cells secreted more Mucin 2 in KTG075 group than control group. The Mucus layer at fecal surface was thinner and less mucus was recovered from mucosal surface in constipated rats than in KTG075 group. Mucus production of crypt epithelial cells and mucus contents at fecal and mucosal surfaces were reduced by loperamide-induced constipation. These results indicate formula KTG075 accelerates evacuation and activates intestines.

In this paper we study the chromatic sum functions for rooted nonseparable simple maps on the plane. The chromatic sum function equation for such maps is obtained . The enumerating function equation of such maps is derived by the chromatic sum equation of such maps. From the chromatic sum equation of such maps, the enumerating function equation of rooted nonseparable simple bipartite maps on the plane is also derived.

Motivated by the results on generating functions investigated by H. Exton and many other authors, we derive certain (presumably) new generating functions for generalized Mittag-Leffler-type functions. Specifically, we introduce a new class of generating relations (which are partly bilateral and partly unilateral) involving the generalized Mittag-Leffler function. Also we present some special cases of our main result.

In this paper, let q ∈ (0, 1]. We establish the boundedness of intrinsic g-functions from the Hardy-Lorentz spaces with variable exponent H^p(·),q(ℝⁿ) into Lorentz spaces with variable exponent L^p(·),q(ℝⁿ). Then, for any q ∈ (0, 1], via some estimates on a discrete Littlewood-Paley g-function and a Peetre-type maximal function, we obtain several equivalent characterizations of H^p(·),q(ℝⁿ) in terms of wavelets.

We classify self-converse oriented trees into two types, namely, bicentral self-converse oriented trees and central ones, according to their centers and characterize these tow types. Using characterizations and Polya enumeration theorem, we derive the ordinary generating function for self-converse oriented trees.

As Network Slicing functionality gets applied to mobile networking, a mechanism that enables the selection of network slices becomes indispensable. Following the 3GPP Technical Specification for the 5G Architecture, the inclusion of the Network Slice Selection Function (NSSF) in order to leverage the process of slice selection is apparent. However, actual implementation of this network function needs to deal with the dynamic changes of network instances, due to this, a platform that supports the orchestration of Virtual Network Functions (VNF) is required. Our proposed solution include the use of the Central Office Rearchitected as a Data Center (CORD) platform, with the specified profile for mobile networks (M-CORD) that integrates a service orchestrator (XOS) alongside solutions oriented to Software Defined Networking (SDN), Network Function Virtualization (VNF) and virtual machine management through OpenStack, in order to provide the right ecosystem where our implementation of NSSF can obtain slice information dynamically by relying on synchronization between back-end services and network function instances.
